Great lunchtime spot - Edit
After having skipped lunch on most of the other days we were here, we finally stopped here (in May, late writing this) on our last day in Seville. We had really struggled to eat anything that inspiring up until that point, but were so pleased to find this little vegan oasis. Great place in a market, bringing vegan food to the mainstream, with lots of seating and easy to book in advance online. I had a salad and a piece of tortilla. Although I make tortilla a lot at home, it was delicious, and you have to try it if you go. My partner had the "egg" topped burger and it looked phenomenal. We got croissants and pastries for the long train journey home and these were great too (you definitely wouldnt know they were vegan!). The staff we spoke to were so helpful and friendly (not sure why there are so comments to the contrary), and I loved the vibe of the place with all the LGBTQ+ and antifa flags, etc :)

Why did you change it?! - Edit
I must say 7 years ago, this used to be the only 100%vegan place shown on happycow. And as i came often to sevile this was a must place to go. 3/4 years ago they decided to change the concept and it was the worst mistake they have ever done, the food was delicious and now its all basic plastic food with no flavour. I've been wanting to do this review for years but been fighting myself because I get very happy when some place can serve for me . There are hundreds of options to go to in happycow, you guys need to go back to the origins, 🙏!

Underwhelmed - Edit
I don’t like to leave poor reviews on vegan places, because I’m often just glad they exist, but we didn’t really have anything good here. The homemade bean patty (which tasted unseasoned) fell all the pieces and out of the bland seed bun, the onion and cheese burger had cold onions and unmelted cheese, and the veganitessen nachos were mid at best. Just a pile of under seasoned guacamole on a pile of tortilla chips with maybe a sprinkling of vegan chorizo. I was shocked as this place had such good reviews…

Très chouette resto! - Edit
Les restaurants vegans ne sont pas nombreux à Séville mais celui-ci est vraiment super. Les burgers sont délicieux (mention spéciale pour le pain maison qui est vraiment à tomber ) et les pâtisseries sont très très bonnes.

Loved it! Though I did not get why frittata wasn’t a breakfast option but then you could have it in bread as “omelette”? Super yum though and also nice selection of pastries

First place I headed. It’s been here since 2009 - Edit
I noticed the building first, it covers a whole block. It’s called The Arenal Market and it’s an important building by Juan Talavera Heredia on a site that used to be a convent & a prison.
Read moreThis vegan 🌱 joint is the first place you notice as you enter and it feels great to see all the vegan action going on.
You order at the counter after studying the menus on their website using your smartphone. It’s good quality and it’s one of the only games in town as Sevilla is not so hip to veganism yet.
People share wobbly benches and the vibe is social. The lady at the counter was friendly.
The two owners are awesome and they are expanding the business by 33% in September 2023.
Going back so will add more pictures and stories later
The future is vegan 🌱

Sooo good - Edit
After getting here last night after all the vegan cafés and restaurants closed, I was so relieved to be able to eat here today. The food was amazing. I got mostly street-food and for dessert a tiramisu. Delicious. My non-vegan family loved it too. Made my day.

Very basic - Edit
The food is very basic and not really worth going to a restaurant for. The service is very bad as well (just like every other Spanish restaurant). They ignore you until you manage to draw their attention to you. The atmosphere however is nice and given that it’s one of only very few vegan restaurants in the city, I still appreciate the effort.

We ordered 2 tapas, a tortilla omelette, a salad and 2 pastries. The menu was entirely vegan.

Disappointing experience - Edit
Sadly, almost all food was sold out when we arrived at 2:30, even though we reserved a table in advance. Some tapas were bland, some overpriced (7€ for one slice of bread), also the burger was way too expensive for the quality. One drink was mistaken so we had to wait even longer. We had hope for the dessert to save our experience, but the cheesecake had a weird consistency and didn‘t taste good. Overall, very disappointing food experience in Seville.
