Friendly place - Edit

We went there for lunch yesterday and really liked the place. It is nicely decorated and the service is really good. The food we had varied in quality. My husband got a lunch menu for 7,50 which included a smoothie as a starter and a buddha bowl as a main dish. I tried the smoothie and thought it tasted mostly like water and not much like a smootie. The buddha bowl had several different things on it, some of which were tasty and others less so. The best was probably the dal (made with lentils), but the saitan for example was cold and didn't taste of much. I ordered lentil albóndigas ("meat" balls) which came with a sauce and rice. The lentil balls themselves were really good, but the rice and the sauce tasted boring. My husband's menu included a desert and he chose yogurt with banana which tasted really nice. I chose one of the vegan cakes, a carrot cake. Both my husband and I thought the cake was amazing, probably the best of all the tings we had.
As the quality of the food was so different (I would say ranging from 2/5 to 5/5), I'd rate the food 3,5 out of 5. I will give the place 4/5 because I liked the place and the service was nice, but some of the dishes (or parts of the dishes) need some improvement.

Pros: very friendly place, all vegan, amazing carrot cake, cheap

Cons: some (parts of) dishes taste boring

Great food and cheap - Edit

This place is inside a market with a number of other eating places.
Great burgers, not huge portions but ok.
There is a menu del dia board but it's hard to see.
Really lovely staff.

Pros: Good quality, cheap and quick.

Estoy deseando volver ♥️

Pros: La amabilidad del servicio

Vegan Junk Food - Edit

I came here twice during my stay in Seville - the burgers are delicious- so flavourful & tasty & for a very reasonable price, served with fried potatoes. They also do a menu of the day for 7.50. They have VEGAN croissants & pastries & cheese , cakes. Everything is served with a smile by their lovely staff.

Pros: Very reasonable price

This place was so cool! - Edit

Oh, I loved it here! It was in a market hall and the place itself was super nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful, any question you have you can ask. And everything is vegan, so wonderful. They had a (fast) food menu and a lot of sweets on the side, like cake. And what we had (nachos, lentil balls with rice, tortilla, cake, wine and cider) was delicious. I liked the atmosphere at Veganitessen, it was friendly and cool and progressive. Absolutely worth a visit!

Absolutely amazing! - Edit

This place is brilliant and we loved it so much we visited twice. Everything is vegan and they have a large variety of different things from light lunches, to larger meals, and sides. The first day we had burger and salad with potatoes which was really delicious, and the following day we had a selection of different smaller dishes. (The potato salad is a must!) The bakery is just incredible and I’m ashamed to say I ate more chocolate brownies in two days than I should have- but they were just too good! If you’re in Seville and you’re vegan you have to stop by!

Pros: Veganitessen is set in a market area indoors so it

Although as part of a food court as a vegan you immediately feel at home here! Big communal tables and counters with vegan messages all over. Fast food options as well as tasty dessert.

Everything was great - Edit

So far I've tried their cakes, another dessert, the burrito and the seitan kebab...everything was great. If you choose to take away your meal, unlike other places in Seville, they are eco-friendly and that's a plus. Fair prices.

Amazing & cheap!! - Edit

This is an amazing place!! I had the spanish tortilla which was €2.50, assuming it was tapas and I would have to order another plate, but it was big and so delicious! They have heaps of options including pastries and savoury food. The staff were super friendly too!
Absolute life saver for broke travellers like me!!!

Pros: Fully vegan, Cheap, Free wifi

Cons: Smells a little fishy since it's in a market

Pros: Todo vegano

Disappointing service - Edit

Located just as you enter the market, the space looks lovely. The menu was reasonably priced typical snack bar stuff including options such as vegan hotdogs, seitan kebabs, tortilla de patatas etc. There were a few pastries and cakes to choose from, and the “cabello de angel” I got was delicious.

I really wanted to like this place, but I went there at the wrong time - Saturday afternoon when it was really busy, and the people in the fish part of the market were cleaning up. The smells from the fish market were pretty off-putting and the service was slow and inattentive – only one waitress for an impossible number of customers. The girl across from me waited for half an hour for her food only to be told there was no tortilla left...

Pros: Cheap eats, Tasty vegan pastries, Generous servings

Cons: Poor service, Smelly location (fish!)

Having just spent 4 days in beautiful Seville,we ate every lunchtime in this fabulous vegan cafe.
Tucked away in the covered market,it offers fresh salads and delicious lunches and home made cakes.
About €10 for a substantial lunch,it is good value.Run by a friendly welcoming lady who is passionate about vegan food.
Not to be missed if you visit Seville.

Vegan fast food - Edit

I took my kids here after they pleaded for days. The market in which it's situated is nice enough but they really need their own shop! The fast food is based on meat alternatives which I'm not a huge fan of but my kids loved it.

Pros: Lots of vegan options. In fact ALL vegan :), Cakes were nice, Friendly staff

Cons: Vegan sausages & ham which look like meat.

I was visiting sevilla for 4 days but i ate here 5 times! The lentil meat balls are to die for and all the burgers are delicious! This little restaraunt is amazing! The food is delicious, theres plenty of options and its all fairly priced! Its hidden away in a market which is fine, but i think it would make an amazing restaurant!

YASSSS - Edit

Reception and setting:
Based in this nice market hall, it was really cool to see a vegan eatery take this much space compared to other stores. You order at the bar, take your cutlery from the side and you get the food at the table. Staff was really nice.
What we had:
We each had a burger and for dessert a piece of coffeecake and raspberrycake. We drank some type of ice tea, a 'maté' and each a coffee. Even though we had eaten enough, we bought 4 pastries (koffiekoek in dutch) for breakfast for the next day.
What we paid:
This whole bunch cost us about 29-ish euro's, which was amazing given how great the food was. This one stands out on cheapness, but it's tricky not to buy all of it.
Some thoughts:
This place was a big win for our culinary needs. Delicious, cheap and very atmosphere. Eating there was a big plus.

Some explanation:
On our trip through Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada my girlfriend and me went to this restaurant, so the rating should be taken in comparison to the others for a full overview. I've made a systematic overview, but don't take this too seriously, as my opinion could even conflict with my gf. Mind that the bill of this review needs to be split in two.

Pros: Very delish, No-bs approach: you see, ask and get what you want, Well worth its money

Excellent vegan cakes - Edit

We stopped in for a quick lunch before going to Malaga. We had an excellent lunch (I had a burger) and we took a ox of cakes away with us. They lasted until the next day ( packaged really well) and were very good. Good value for money.

Pros: Good choice of cakes
