Wow ice-cream! - Edit
This is a bit of a melodramatic review because I want to express the real joy I had eating Veganista's ice-cream.

I took 3 non-vegan friends there too and they were equally complimentary - this place just sells fantastic tasting creamy ice-cream in both interesting and traditional flavours.
And the friendly staff will let you try out little samples to find your favourite flavours.
The highlight of my trip to Vienna was eating 4 generous scoops of maple-pecan, cookie, coconut and brownie flavours. All vegan. All scrumptious.
I can't recommend this place enough - no trip to Vienna should be without a visit. I only long for there to be an ice-cream parlour like this in the UK!

really big portions, the ice cream flavours I tried (cookies and brasilian coffee) were delicious and had very good consistency. Sadly the shops were closed on some days due to bad weather so I could only go there once. It would be nice if they had seating options and were open till later as to have late ice cream after dinner. I like that they have some very unique flavours. Hopefully I will return to try more!

Billie Eilish is in town and Veganista are doing some limited edition flavours to celebrate. We tried the lemony one. It was so good. This is really good ice cream. Well worth going to. There are a few benches outside in a shady street for you to enjoy your tasty treat.

A bit overrated but lots of unique options - Edit
I've seen lists where this was considered one of the top 10 vegan ice cream places in the world, or something like that. I don't think that is the case at all - the cookies flavor my husband got was a little icy and while I loved the consistency of my hazelnut scoop, the flavor wasn't as strong as I've had in other places.

Meraviglioso, questo è l’unico aggettivo che posso dare. Ampissima scelta di gusti che cambiano spessissimo, sono 5 punti vendita per tutta la città. Li ho provati tutti e sono tutti sublimi. In particolari i gusti alla vaniglia classica e vaniglia bourbon sono imperdibili anche per coloro a cui solitamente non piace la vaniglia, fidatevi!

Wenn ich in Wien bin, ist ein Eis bei Veganista ein Must-Have. Einer meiner Favorites ist das Lavendeleis. Bei jedem Besuch entdeckt man neue leckere Eissorten. Die Läden sind liebevoll und schlicht eingerichtet. In ganz Wien gibt es inzwischen Läden, sodass man überall das Eis bekommt. Der Preis ist angemessen. Hier wird mit viel Sorgfalt Eis hergestellt. Die Qualität der Lebensmittel ist top. Das Personal ist super freundlich.

We tried hazelnut and Rosemary/pine nut. Hazelnut was very creamy and nice. Rosemary was interesting but I wouldn't order it again.

Read moreTip: Do ask for two flavours in one scoop, we did it all the time. Their scoops are huuuge so you will not be able to try too many flavours at once if you only get one flavours per scoop.
I‘m amazed how many new and different flavour they come up with. My favorite so far: During some Harry Potter themed week (that was before JFK went full TERF) they had options like „Crumbledore“ and I adored their „Butterbeer“ flavour.
Pros: If you ask they do 2 flavours per scoop!
