Good food / casual atmosphere - Edit
Was a little confusing at first because it’s a vegan restaurant inside of a non-veg one, but they have so many options! We had the spinach pie (very good), souvlaki (amazing!!!!), and a pasta that could have been a little more flavourful. However, for vegan options on the island this place had the most choice, one of the brothers who owns it is vegan and friendly. Definitely a must-visit. Try the souvlaki!

Great option - Edit
It’s not actually a vegetarian restaurant, it’s a separate vegan menu of a regular restaurant. Good traditional Greek options and yummy food

The food I had here was the best I ate on this island and the service was friendly and really helpful. It was also glad to find a restaurant that didn’t feel like a tourist trap!

Great vegan independent restaurant - Edit
The owner was very friendly and helped recommend dishes for us. We were a little confused as there were two menus (Veganissimo - vegetarian/vegan, and Med Food - Omni) but this was clearly communicated when we arrived. The food was always cooked fresh and hot. We tried the moussaka, Santorini pasta and mushroom gyros. The gyros were so nice we had them maybe 3 times during our stay! The food is all so reasonably priced too. I'd definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Delicious food - Edit
Went there twice during our stay in Santorini. We had the vegan carbonara, mushroom risotto, sweet potato with vegan feta, vegan mousakas and mushroom gyros plate. Can not fault anything with any of the meals. It was delicious. Do recommend getting a couple of dishes and sharing. Reasonably priced.

Best Eggplant Saganaki in Town - Edit
Veganissimo is a great vegan/vegetarian spot that won't break the bank. They offer both a vegan and vegetarian menu, and will ask which you prefer when you are seated.
Read moreA few dishes that I tried during my short stay in Fira:
* Greek Tofu Kayana - a hearty tofu dish that was perfect for a chilly evening. Sourdough was included but I wish they gave more bread for dipping
* Tomato Fritters - a bit too doughey for me but I had to try this affordable option in town
* Santorini Salad - definitely try this salad. Very similar to the national Greek Salad but incorporates local olives and tomatoes that the island is famous for
* Eggplant Saganaki - the BEST dish I had on the island. Eggplant was incredibly tender and the tomato sauce was prepared perfectly
Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available to your liking. Service was pretty good although I found it hard to get a server's attention even when they weren't busy.
Dishes here ranged from 8€ - 16€ on most items, so you have a wide range of affordable to slightly more expensive (but delicious) dishes
Pros: Wide range of Greek vegan options, Lots of indoor and outdoor seating
Cons: Service was a bit slow

Vegan restaurant with meat options - Edit
We discovered Veganissimo by accident. We had tea and coffee there and the whole look and feel of the restaurant was as if they should have lots of vegan options. And it turned out they had a seperate vegan menu which was way more interesting than the ' normal ' one. We came back the next day for lunch and dinner.

Would come back 100% - Edit
I had a Santorini salad and sweet potato with vegan cheese (a lot of food for one person, but I wanted to try both dishes) a scoop of vegan ice cream. The food was delicious and prices reasonable for an all-vegan restaurant in Santorini. The owner is very nice! You can see him wandering around to have a chat and make sure that everything is alright.

Santorini Vegan Find - Edit
I had a phenomenal Vegan Souvlaki, it was a favorite of mine while visiting Santorini. Juicy, meaty, and well seasoned mushrooms. I couldn't ask for more. Even though I was satisfied, I couldn't leave without trying the vegan ice cream. I tried the peanut butter flavor and was very impressed by the decadent rich flavor. The owner was so kind and enthusiastic about us eating there. I would highly recommend.

Awesome separate vegan menu! - Edit
I’ve been there 3 times this week and have loved every item I’ve tried on the menu! Vegan souvlaki, beyond burger with great fries, vegan moussaka , Santorinian sallad with vegan feta, fava bean spread, and the vegan peanut butter ice-cream was super good! Even their pita is noteworthy.

Weird experience with ignorant waiter - Edit
Went there two times.
Read moreThe first time we went there, we ordered souvlakis for takeaway. Those were great, although 0.5€ more expensive than on the menu.
The second time we went there to brunch.
When we were seated we told the waiter we are fully vegan.
I ordered coffe with vegan milk.
The waiter brought coffee and two capsules of cow milk, telling us 'this is not vegan'.
When I told him repeatedly I was vegan and would like my coffee vegan, he questioned if i was really vegan. 'you have muscles and everything, how do you maintain that?'. This kind of ignoarance is really annoying, especially in a vegan restaurant.
After that he brought me a coffee with soymilk.
The rest of the meal we were interrupted with offers to call us an ambulance (I assume it was a joke because vegans are obviously dying of malnutrition).
The acai bowl is not recommendable, the gyros plate was too small, but tasty.
The souvlaki offers the best value and is recommendable.
Pros: Souvlaki
Cons: Expensive, Acai bowl, Ignorance

Good morning, Thank you very much for your comments and an extensive check was made on the words that were said to you by my colleagues. As the owner of the restaurant , a Vegan for years and working 14 hours on the restaurant I asked my colleagues at the service if such words were ever said and they categorically denied. Nothing like this came in my perception as i told you before. I check the service 14 hours per day. Also the quality of the characters would never permit such expressions while struggling to serve the customers. You can check our last 20 comments on google and you will see the best comments:

X 11:We did not expect to find such an amazing vegan place on such a tiny island like Santorini. Their menu is extensive, prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The owner and the manager of the place, Panagiotis is the kindest guy on the whole island! He is vegan himself and puts his heart and soul into his place! A must visit and a true trip saviour for all vegan visitors of Santorini!

You have to try the Slovakia - Edit
I have to start by saying order the vegan souvlaki! It might be the yummiest meal I have tried on my travels thus far and it was SO affordable (only $3.50 euro like????). The mushrooms were delicious, so was the potatoes and the sauce was just, okay now I'm drooling thinking about it. I also tried the moussaka and it was pretty nice but in a heartbeat I would go back for the souvlaki.
Read moreUnfortunately when we went they were understaffed so the food came out at all different times (like my partners meal came out in my last bites of my meal) and when taking my order the guy wrote down the wrong meal but I noticed. Also idk why it's called vegan because there's tons of meat options. But literally I could care less about that because of how delicious it was.
The owner was also so kind. He offered us free ice cream after and even discounted our meals. This place is worth checking out.
Pros: Delicious, Affordable, Lots of options

The food is ok and they have plenty vegan options. Not sure if they have two different restaurants in the same place, but they also have meat and fish in a different menu. Call for the vegan menu, you are going to see vegetarian and vegan labels.

Good food but got my partners order wrong - Edit
If I were to rate this restaurant based purely on the standard of vegan food and value for money it would maybe be 4 stars. It has a good selection for vegans and is great value for money when compared to other places nearby. However if you're looking for a scenic setting and attentive staff it may be better to go elsewhere. The restaurant is located near a main road and has people walking through the outside dining area. Most importantly my partners burger wasn't beyond meat like we asked (they have a specific vegan menu) instead she got lamb and managed to realise after the first bite.
Read moreOverall has potential. If you get vegan food I'm sure it will be nice and at good value for money, otherwise you may not enjoy.
Pros: Good amount of vegan options, Vegan food tastes good
Cons: Got our order wrong and served my partner lamb, Location isn't particularly scenic

Decent food for a reasonable price. - Edit
We were there in the middle of June. There were eggs on the menu despite it being advertised as vegan. The staff was not very friendly and we felt a bit like we were disturbing them by being there. We had the vegan breakfast combo and it was very good value. Amazing smoothie, very salty tofu scramble and decent wraps. The portion size was very good.
