As good as it gets for Greek vegan - Edit
Pretty much blown away by this place. Plus the men running it are on top of it and Service is brisk. It’s on the main street where cars and pedestrians are coming by so it’s lively…. but let’s get down to the food. The vegan cheese pizza was literally to die for. The feta cheese is a texture and a taste like I’ve never had with Vegan. It tastes better than the real thing! The mousaka Was better than the one I had in Athens. This one was cooked to perfection right out of the oven. My wife had a mushroom pie in a square piece. We want to come back and try the rest of the menu. They have a double cuisine concept meaning they have one side of the restaurant is Vegan and the other side is Not vegan. Two different menus, that’s why I can’t get five star. Trust me if you are vegan, you will freaking love this place!

Bland, frozen, microwaved - Edit
Just because we're vegan doesn't mean we should accept any food marketed as vegan.
Read moreI dont know if there was more effort before this became a hybrid restaurant but its clear the kitchen doesn't care about them vegan options.
Clearly from frozen starters, a moussaka that was clearly sat in the fridge and then microwaves and then a souvlaki that was devoid of any seasoning, surely a crime in Greece??
There are plenty of non-vegan restaurants that put more effort in than this place. Avoid.
Pros: Vegan options
Cons: Frozen, Microwaved , Bland

False advertising - Edit
Not a vegan restaurant, "complimentary" bread costs money, prices are high and server was aggressive. Disappointing.

Actually, menu is 100% vegan except for some desserts, everything is explained in this listing. It's listed as veg-options anyway, so there's no false advertising at all. Prices are well visible on their website too, so apparently the only misleading detail on this listing is this review.

Good location - decent options - Edit
Some very good options but disappointed moussaka was just made from mince and beyond meat being served. I would've hoped for abit more creativity/authenticity. Location was perfect but abit pricey

The restaurant shares its space with an omni restaurant but has a fully vegan menu with all of the greek classics, plus other things like pasta and burgers. We went twice over our 3 day stay!

Nice Range of Vegan Options - Edit
We tried the homemade zucchini balls, handmade Santorinian traditional pasta, Beyond Meat Souvlaki, and handmade Baklava with ice cream. Everything was delicious, and we ended up eating there twice during our time in Santorini! I would give this 5 stars if the app allowed it. Thank you, Amin!

Great food, reasonable price, wonderful service - Edit
We came here for dinner and ordered some of the items that were more traditionally Greek (vegan style) and also tried and true favorites. The Vegetable Meuillefeuille and mushroom gyros and spaghetti carbonara were amazing! Warm, friendly and accommodating staff. Easy parking just down the street. Was able to get last minute reservations. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Options - Edit
While they have a separate non-vegan menu which is a bit disappointing I understand that sometimes in order for a business to survive they must sometimes compromise.

Great flavours and kind staff! - Edit
We got a bread basket with vegan tzatziki without even asking - the man was so sweet and offered us the vegan menu before we even asked. We shared cheesy chips (the cheese was crumbles but tasted great) and I had a mushroom souvlaki (verrryyy messy but so filled!) and my partner got the beyond meat souvlaki (she said it was great). The guy also gave us a free little vegan chocolate dish at the end without us asking - amazing! Prices were good too. The only thing I was surprised at is that it is inside a meat/fish serving restaurant called Med Food, but also has Veganissimo inside too as a separate menu? Didnt bother us though as there is the full separate menu.

BEST VEGAN Greek + Italian FOOD EVER! - Edit
Also known as “Med Food” on google maps
Read moreYOU haveeee to go here! We went twice- and it’s so affordable and the food is to die for🤤
It’s amazing bc you can take your non vegan friends and they still have a whole separate regular menu for them- full of real meat and cheese dishes.
The Vegan Carbonara 🍝pasta was the most CREAMY and most real I have ever tasted! (Better than an upscale restaurant in Toronto twice the price)
Vegan Zucchini Gyros 🥙 was incredible! They replaced the raw tomatoes with cucumbers for me easily.
Vegan Cheesecake 🍰 - it tasted so authentic!! Highly suggest 😍
My non vegan friend had the margarita pizza 🍕 and it was SO CHEESY and looked like incredible dough that was fluffy!
I also love how they do not combine the gluten free with the vegan. As you will see a lot of restaurants do that in Greece and so the vegan pizzas usually have bad crust.
ALL the staff are incredibly KIND and thoughtful!
Support these guys! Bc they did it for the animals and it’s authentic! As the owners mom cooks all the food from 6 am - 11 am everyday, that’s why it’s so fresh!
Pros: vegan carbonara pasta , Vegan gyros , Friendly warm spirited team

The vegan moussaka was delicious. The vegan menu was extensive but there was also a meat menu, like two restaurants in one. Service was a bit slow the day we were there.

Two restaurants in one - Edit
We went looking for veganissimo and almost missed it because it seems to be two restaurants in one. The larger sign says “Med Food” and that menu is omnivorous. Veganissimo is part of this restaurant. When you sit down they ask which menu you would like. The veganissimo menu is completely vegan. We had the tomato and zucchini fried balls as starters and the moussakas and Cretan pasta as mains. We also received two amuse bouche (with starter and with the bill as desert). The food was excellent and there was plenty choice! A highlight was having a vegan tzatziki.

Best authentic Greek food! - Edit
I’m so happy we came here because so far it has been the best restaurant we’ve eaten at in Santorini. It has all the traditional Greek foods on the menu - Greek salad with vegan feta, moussaka, gyro, souvlaki, the tomato and zucchini fritters, fava dip, vegan tsaziki, baklava…the owner was very nice, told us about each food item, they’re his moms recipes. Awesome! Definitely coming back tomorrow

Good food but a bit confusing... - Edit
The establishment houses two restaurants; Veganissimo and something else. I was confused at first because the other restaurant is not vegan and the menu offers both. The vegan menu is towards the back of the menu. But the food was good and filling. They also gave me a vegan jello for dessert after the meal.

Authentic Greek Food with Vegan Optionz - Edit
I ate here a few times while in Santorini. A good selection of delicious vegan options. The wait staff and owner were friendly. The owner stopped at our table multiple times while we dined, gave us free vegan baklava, and 10% discount cards for our next visit. Even though it’s not 100% vegan, it was the perfect choice for me and my friends since not everyone in our group was vegan, so it offered a nice balance for us.

Deceiving, they serve animals… - Edit
I found this place in Google where it’s posted as a fully vegan restaurant. Here in Happy Cow as a vegetarian restaurant. Upon arrival we even asked the girl outside if they were fully vegan and she confirmed…
Read moreBut it’s neither vegan or vegetarian, I couldn’t believe it when I saw all kind of animals offered in the menu… They serve meat, fish, diary and eggs… So we were pretty disappointed and felt deceived by the advertisement.
We had very limited time so we stayed to try the food. If you look at the vegan options, it’s really amazing, they have a lot of options of traditional Greek food veganized and even vegan desserts. We tried a few things and everything was really good and the prices are very reasonable for Santorini.
It’s just a pity that they promote themselves as a vegan or vegetarian restaurant when they are not. Otherwise they would easily deserve a 4 out of 5 in Happy Cow. Many options, good food and good prices.
Cons: They serve meat, fish, diary and eggs.
