Homemade oriental Mediterranean cuisine - Edit
Opened at the beginning of September 2024, this 30-seat indoor/outdoor eatery offers seasonal cuisine based on fresh produce, as well as a grocery store and a caterer, all 100% vegan in a neighborhood that's rather lacking in 100% vegan shops.
Read moreThe very Egyptian decor and the warm welcome from Antoine and his brother were perfect for showing me the restaurant's concept, which is perfect for this student neighborhood.
For the moment, the “pre-opening” menu includes the following items, which will be expanded as the weeks go by and based on customer feedback:
- Homemade burger with falafel steak and a choice of halloumi, eggplant, zucchini, tofu, potato patty and vegan mozza.
- Homemade tacos with a wide choice of toppings, such as falafel, halloumi, feta, mozza or vegan cheddar...
- Typical oriental dishes
* Kochari: Mix of rice, pasta, brown lentils, chickpeas, tomato sauce and fried onions
* Mahchi Mix: Stuffed zucchini, onion, bell pepper, cabbage leaf, vine leaf (rice stuffing in herb sauce).
- 3 raw vegetable salads to suit all appetites
- Snaking, panisse fries, falafel sticks, samossas
- 3 types of rolls
- 4 types of cream for dipping panisse or falafel fries: houmos, coral cream, foul cream or bassara (broken beans with herbs, garlic and spices).
- You'll also find homemade drinks made with hibiscus, aniseed and especially carob, which I loved!
- And two desserts: cookie and homemade tiramisu.
Orders are taken from a kiosk and the dishes arrive very quickly!
I had a homemade taco, which was delicious.
And the panisse fries melted in my mouth.
The dessert, the tiramisu of course, was creamy and not too sweet, just the way I like it!
In short, a perfect place to eat homemade food and discover oriental Mediterranean cuisine.

So tasty, fresh and filling that I came back the next day - Edit
This new place has some great vegan options, and their menu is supposed to add new options in the future. I had a grilled taco wrap with a vegan halloumi cheese that tasted much better than any vegan cheese I had so far. It was filled with lots of beans and fresh veggies. So next day I came back for a burger and tiramisu, both very good too. Definitely recommended!

Friendly Egyptian restaurant - Edit
Lovely people and nice place! All homemade genuine Egyptian food. Very new restaurant, they were only open for 2 days when we visited. The food was tasty 😋 and they were stille further developing the menu and very open to suggestions. We also recommend the homemade drinks! We also bought some nice vegan cheeses and sauce. 😀
