Their green papaya salad was absolutely delicious as well as the green Thai curry. I also had the waffles for dessert which were equally as good. All for a really decent price. Highly recommended.

I had the tom yum mac and cheese, which sounds like a really odd combination, but it was so good and I enjoyed every bite. Also had the dumpling soup which was not as good - the dumplings kind of fell apart in the soup.

Nice restaurant behind the park next to emquartier. Everything on the menu is vegan en they have a lot of dishes, ranging from thai to western and more health concious. Almost to much to pick and it tasted great.

I wish the açai smoothie bowl was less liquid though - like a true açai bowl.
Also the burger is too big to eat without a knife and fork (very small complaint!)
I will absolutely keep coming back though

Perhaps I went in with too high of hopes, but frankly, I found this place to be overrated and left disappointed. 3 of us went and we all had mixed results with our meals.

- Som Tam salad (good but too spicy): 3.5⭐️
- American Pancakes Set (tasty, especially with the raspberry compote, and the vacon was a good imitation): 4.5⭐️
- Mac-n-Cheese (bland and overwhelmingly “noochy”: 3⭐️
- Chickpea Satay Wrap: (My son says it was bland and very mediocre.): 2.5⭐️
- Cheesy Tonkatsu Curry Rice (-minus the cheese; a delicious imitation with a crunchy crust): 4.5⭐️
- Fresh Lemon Iced: 3⭐️
- Mango Shake: 3.5⭐️
- Soy Caramel: 2⭐️ This one was misleading. It was listed on the menu under “Coffees & Teas”, but it was simply warm, sweetened soy milk with a caramel drizzle. We asked them to add a shot of espresso (at additional cost) which made the drink closer to what we expected, but it still wasn’t great.
Typically, I enjoy trying vegan desserts, but I was so underwhelmed by the meal that I didn’t risk it.

A good place for a Western breakfast - Edit
Veganerie was one of the few places open early enough to have a Western-style breakfast (I love Thai food, but I don't always feel like soup and noodles for breakfast). The waffle was very good (although I got the dessert option, so it was quite sweet for my breakfast). The menu is large, the dessert cabinet ample, and if I had time, I would have gone back to try more. The matcha smoothie was really tasty too and I appreciated that the staff made it how I wanted it (not too sweet!)

We were able to easily find this location and was not disappointed. Everything looked delicious on the menu and tastes even better. We had the Christmas taco (much larger than expected) kale salad and satay wrap. Desserts were cinnamon roll and berry/apple crumble pie. We will return tomorrow and try something new.

Yet another Veganerie - Edit
We needed a cold drink and yet again HC told us a Veganerie was our closest vegan stop. At least this one is right near a park, which made the walk there, and the setting, a lot more pleasant. True to form, once we were there it went beyond the cold drink, and we decided to order the chocolate waffles alongside our iced coffee and lime iced tea. At least I managed to hold myself back from also getting the pancakes. The waffles were delicious of course. Nice location by the park, rather than the shopping mall or up 100 stairs as other Veganeries are.

They have a lot of good vegan options, but that also comes with a higher price tag. I ordered the vegan Khao Soi which was really good just a little spicy for me. I also got the funfetti cake which tasted great, and the red velvet cake that was horrible. The red velvet tasted kind of old and sour. The only complaint I have on the funfetti is that the frosting leaves a film in your mouth. I would skip the cakes if I were to order here again.

Best ice-cream sundae ever! - Edit
It's hard to fault the Veganerie cafes. The food is amazing and the staff are sweet. I hadn't been to this one before. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. I had a delicious satay tofu salad and the most divine chocolate and berry ice-cream sundae. My son had V-nuggets, fries, and a mango ice-cream shake.

Really tasty food and lovely staff - Edit
The menu has a huge selection of different Thai dishes and other Italian and international cuisine dishes, and the staff are really nice and friendly. The restaurant itself also has a nice atmosphere inside. On top of that, prices are very reasonable compared to other similar places. Our meal was 725 BHT for 2 mains, 2 non alcoholic drinks and 1 starter. Would definitely recommend!

2nd branch I've visited - I really like the restaurant, it offers some comfortable seating (and lots of possibilities to charge - probably nice for bringing your laptop). I had the Kao Soi which was nice (perfect spicy for me, which is not a lot lol).
