CLOSED: Veganel

Best vegan barbecue burger in town. If you enjoy fast food, but prefer a vegan diet, Veganel is the place to go in Erlangen.

I do like the burgers they serve and the fact of having a vegan fast food shop in Erlangen is incredible. My only problem is that i get the feeling the burgers are not self made but ready-made (or instant) burgers like the ones that are sold in grocery shops. I would go there more often if they had amazing self made burgers.

The french fries are REALLY good though and they offer spelt bread which I love.

I still haven't tasted the zoodles or the other dishes.

I went there once, but I didn't like it. The burger were nothing exceptional and the patty didn't taste good. I would have loved a special patty and some fresh, unusual ingredients, but it was only salad, tomatoes and ketchup on it. In addition I took the wholemeal bun, which wasn't fluffy at all.

Furthermore the burger didn't go well with my stomach (perhaps because of the soybean-patty, although I can eat tofu without any problems).

It's too bad (because it's an all-vegan place in my hometown), but I can't recommend this place and I will not go there again.

Typical fast food & burger cuisine but all vegan. Except for few exceptions ingredients are organic. I had the regular burger and it was good, not exceptional. For it to be especial I would have loved some unusual ingredient or extra freshness (maybe sprouts, grilled zucchini). I loved the vegan mayonnaise they had!

The woman who worked there was very friendly.

Veganel is centrally located in Erlangen and you can get affordable and very good vegan fast food there. The gyros burger and the new fish burger are amazing.

It's the first all vegan food stall in Erlangen and it's soo so good. Very friendly people and everything I tried so far had been superb tasty. Highly recommended, especially everything with gyros and the curry sausage (if you'd ask me ...) ;)
