This was one of the best vegan food I’ve ever had eating outside. I had the Korean fried cauliflower and the tempeh katsu and it was just amazingly delicious.

Most of the Dishes are more snack sizes, especially if you share them as it's ment to do. We loved every single bite of everything we ordered.

I didn't know what to choose - Edit
... So we went for the street food basket (their selection of bites). I was not very satisfied with the selection and wished for more variety, and maybe not two spicy bites, just one. It took the rest of the flavours away in my opinion. My favorite were the baos but I was not impressed overall. I have to come back and try other options. The place was great and the service was fast (I've read some reviews saying they had slow service). It's a good option to have lunch with friends, definitely.

Fabulous - Edit
In a street you wouldn't expect a beautiful vegan restaurant, one is situated and exceeds all expectations. The minimalistic interior and cosy lights make you feel like you don't want to leave for a few hours. The staff is sweet, quick and professional, even when the place is packed. A splendid dining experience is guaranteed.
Read moreWith the shared dining concept, you can have multiple rounds of dishes with plenty of options. This way there is no need to get FOMO. We started with the Kimchi kroketten and the cauliflower wings. The wings were the absolute tastiest cauliflower wings I've ever tried. The crunchy batter and Gochujang marinade made me crave for more. Next up were the Bao buns with mushrooms. Nothing crazy, but a comforting dish that never gets boring. The second round we ordered the tempeh katsu, szechuan potatoes, watermelon tataki and the papaya salad. Both the tempeh with a crunchy outer layer and the szechuan potatoes were a bit dry, but so well flavoured and well textured. I could eat that every day. The watermelon tataki with many layers of sweets and umamis was an interesting try-out, being very unexpected in taste and texture. The salad was a little bit of a bummer for me, it was primarily made with cucumber and peanuts, the papaya that could have been the star of this dish was part of the dressing and brought too much to the background. The dessert brought the entire dining experience to a whole. Three mochi ice creams bursting with flavour as the fireworks at the end of an amazing concert of flavour and texture.
I highly recommend Veganees for any occasion. It's perfect for a casual dinner, a romantic anniversary or any other celebration. Our dining experience was a soothing experience in which we felt well taken care of. It isn't the cheapest restaurant but you are not leaving the place hungry and disappointed. I also think this is one of the few vegan places at which non-vegans would also leave very satisfied. Regretted not going to this place earlier.

Good food en friendly service - Edit
The food is good, nothing special, just well executed. The staff is friendly and service is good. However the smell from the kitchen does come into the restaurant and does sit in your clothes. Also all surfaces do feel a little bit sticky.

Lots of other better vegan choices in the area... - Edit
OK food, very pricy, poor service. Menu confusing, especially "Favorites Menu" pricing... proceed with caution. Service was extremely slow and sometimes they just did not respond to requests.

We stopped here for lunch on a weekday - the restaurant was not very busy and service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly and the outdoor seating was nice! We tried the Bibimbap and the Nameko Noodles. Both servings were large, and tasted pretty good, just overall we were not blown away by the flavors. Still it's a great option if you're in the area!

Fantastic Asian fusion streetfood - Edit
This place was on my ‘want to go’ list for a while and when I finally made it they didn’t disappoint! Amazing vegan Asian fusion street food. I think my favorites are the crispy cauliflower, kimchi croquettes and the spicy wontons, but also the tempeh tonkatsu and the pakchoy were delicious. They will move locations soon, check their website. I will definitely visit again

Naja - Edit

Main dishes boring and almost all drinks contain sugar - Edit
I don’t like taste of main dishes (in my case it was noodles) it was to sweet, noodles to soft and with boring ingredients (no tofu or edemame, or other beans, only cabbage and fried onions…) and again it was too sweet. For the same price at different places you can find much more tasty and nutritious balanced dishes. Gyoza as snack was tasty.

spicyyyyy - Edit
i'm sorry but i'm gonna be really subjective in this review! perhaps this is a nice place objectively but we had a bad luck or just a bad day in common so i stayed disappointed 😢
Read morewe came to have a takeaway and ordered couple of dishes. i was really amazed to try tempeh satay and also really hungry. we didn't check the order and came home where i realised they messed up and somehow gave me spicy potatoes instead of the so much wanted satay 😭😭😭 leaving aside the fact that wasn't the dish i wanted at all, i also didn't want anything spicy but at the end just got stuck with the spicy potatoes (idk how many times i can use the words "spicy potatoes" in this review but let's see haha)
we also had two dishes to share which were peking pancakes and watermelon tataki. i had hopes for them as i didn't like the spicy potatoes 😁 much, but those two dishes also didn't impress me... the watermelon tataki might be good on its own but there may be a chance they gone bad and liquidy on our way home, so it wasn't very impressive in the end. unfortunately!
i saw a lot of excellent reviews here and i don't want to be a party pooper but just have an urge to share my unfortunate story with the stupid spicy potatoes!

The atmosphere of Amsterdam is amazing. It feels like the Amsterdamians have conquered the streets, and squeezed in there is this place.

The mapu tofu said spicy, but wasn't very spicy. They had some extra chilli on the side to help with that.

Cons: Could have had more szechuan pepper :)
