Comida deliciosa, buenísimo trato - Edit
Buenísima experiencia comer en VEGandVEG. Josemari y Fati son maravillosos, no solo cocinan bien si no que además te hacen sentir como en casa. Poder comer vegano en un lugar así es un sueño. No hicimos fotos porque... ¡estaba todo tan apetecible que no pudimos esperar!

Lovely people and delicious food - Edit
The first time we came specially to Fuenteheridos on our trip back home for this colourful little veggie restaurant and we were warmly welcomed by Fati & Josémari, a lovely couple that felt like friends instantly. The homemade food is delicious! Try the croquetas, but it is actually difficult to choose as you want to try everything.

Great choices and delicious home cooked food - Edit
We went to the caves at Aracena for the day and thought we’d come here after for a late lunch. The first thing is that it is open all day which is a welcome change for us foreigners visiting Spain who can’t get used to their meal times. The second thing is the whole menu is vegan or veggie and the choice is great. Not just a salad or a vegan burger. We had possible the nicest croquettes we’ve ever had and we let Josemari (who by the way speaks excellent English) bring us a choice of food. Wow it was all superb. Cooked by his wife Fatima from fresh, we ate until we could eat no more. And they were so welcoming and charming. Just a real pleasure to be able to go out in Spain and have non junk food in a lovely little location. We are planning to bring our friends back as soon as we can.

A welcome surprise - Edit
We were very pleased to find a vegetarian restaurant in a small town. The owner was very welcoming, spoke very good English, and explained the menu. We had soup to start, which was delicious. Then I had parmentier which was fantastic and my wife had croquettes (aubergine) which she loved. Really nice all round, would recommend.

Una carta muy variada y elaborada con sabores muy auténticos y originales. El restaurante tiene mucho encanto y dispone de una terracita. Esta situado al lado de la fuente de los 12 caños nacimiento del río Múrtigas.

La comida es espectacular, tienen muchísimas opciones veganas y los propietarios son encantadores.
Read moreEstá localizado en medio de la Sierra y es un alivio tener un sitio así, ya que no abundan.
Nosotros pedimos un surtido de croquetas veganas (un montón de variedades) que estaban a cada cuál mejor, un Parmentier y una hamburguesa de lentejas rojas y alga nori. Estaba todo buenísimo y para los que nos gusta la naturaleza y el senderismo da mucha tranquilidad contar con un sitio así.
Repetiremos sin duda cuando volvamos.

Comida riquísima en medio de la sierra - Edit
Tanto la comida como el personal son encantadores. Nosotros desayunamos allí una tostada con revuelto de tofu riquísima y nos gustó tanto que pedimos un potaje de garbanzos, alcachofas y zanahorias y unas migas veganas para llevar. Todo buenísimo y 100% vegano. Muy recomendado!!

The food is nice enough but it is nothing to write home about. The portions are quite small and the prices, in consequence, are quite high. I would go back if I was in the area (since it is rare to have a restaurant with vegan options there) but I certainly wouldn't travel exclusively to eat there as I'm sure many of us vegans do when we wanna treat ourselves.

La Frontera Vegan - Edit
Josemari and Fatima’s place is a fantastic oasis in the Sierra for whole plant based food that is all home made and many of the ingredients grown in their own garden. Some vegetarian dishes also but the majority are vegan. Delicious😄Note. It is best to book a time slot.

This is the only (I repeat: the ONLY) vegetarian place in the whole sierra de Huelva, a place famous exclusively for its ham (jamón).

Delicious food, very difficult service - Edit
The food is delicious, original recipes and flavors. Would get 5 stars based on that. However, the service was chaotic and the attitude of the owner when mistakes were made was extremely off-putting. Therefore, I would not visit again, which is a shame because the quality of food deserves better.

Lugar muy recomendable y para repetir , diría que único en la sierra. Un oasis. Comida casera y hecha con mucho cariño. Todo RIQUÍSIMO, hemos comido croquetas variadas, tortilla, hamburguesa de berengena, gazpachuelo de colibror, albondigas, migas espectaculares...y los postres también buenísimos. ¡¡Nos hemos quedado con ganas de probarlo todo!! También tienen cervezas artesanales de la zona. Jose Mari y Fati nos han hecho sentirnos como en casa, da gusto encontrar un lugar donde te tratan tan bien y personas que le ponen pasión y entusiasmo a lo que hacen. ¡Cuando volvamos a la zona repetiremos seguro!
