great for trying all the banchans - Edit
This is definitely worth the trek out from the city center (but easily walkable from a subway station) if you’d like to try all the vegan banchans!
Read moreYou can order a set meal (soups, jjajangmyeon, etc) or do the buffet plate. Buffet plates are by weight.
The employee was so kind to pull up a translation app on her phone to let me know kitchen prep was a bit delayed and would let me know when food is ready.
All the food I had was super tasty. So grateful for the variety!
The plate I had in the pic cost about 5000won.

One of the best authentic Korean Vegan foods - Edit
It is simply very tasty just like home meal. Veganchan is a place where sincerely prepared food naturally brings a smile. As Korean, I love Korean food but I also get tired of cooking all the time. This is the place when I can have authentic Korean food which is prepared by somebody else not by me. The buffet is weight measure and pay. Banchan is changing and there are also other menus you can choose.

It was good to eat vegan versions of typical Korean food at such an affordable price. I wouldn't say the food was mind-blowing or special but definitely basic, simple and clean.

You can buy frozen vegan products and refrigerated as well.
Fully vegan buffet including: tteokbokki, bulgogi, Gimbap, Mandu, lettuce (kale and more), kimchi, pickles, sesame spinach, steamed veggies, vegan fish cakes and steak. Also lots of sauces and soups. Unfortunately you have to weigh everything also sauces: that means you can’t add sauce later on except that you have to go through the buying progress again.
Sauces aren’t labeled in English.
Taste was great. Loved the variety and highly recommend the Gimbap, Mandu and spinach.
Everything on the sweet side though: bulgogi, tteokbokki and so on rather too sweet.
You can also order off the menu (Korean only)
Food portions displayed were rather small
I highly recommend going here for authentic Korean food!
Pros: Fully vegan Korean , Gimbap, Stemwed Mandu, veggies , Friendly owner and clean space
Cons: Everything is weight: sauces and rice as well, Not really daylight , Lot seems not cooked, but heated up packaged food

I went to eat because it was close to my house. I was very hungry. The food came out quickly and the buffet was delicious.

They offer half portions as well which is amazing. You can order the dishes or go via the buffet which is prized by weight.
