Best vegan Nata ever❤️ - Edit

We loved this place and even went back a couple of times. The owner is so lovely and helpful. And the pastries are delicious. Especially the vegan Nata was great. Sadly enough they were sold out the last time we went by. Now we have to go back for a Porto holiday😏

Pros: Everything is vegan, so no worries when ordering, Pastry is delicious!, The owner is the sweetest person ever

Cons: The layout of the shop

Wonderful Experience - Edit

Lovely store and cafe. Its very friendly and very reasonably priced. The grilled ‘ham’ and cheese sandwich I had was delicious. It appears that everything is cooked from scratch so be prepared that you may have to wait for your food but it’s worth its weight in gold.

Pros: friendly , good prices, fresh food

Delicious vegan food, nice and friendly owners - Edit

My wife has developed food intolerance - some ingredients are simply forbidden to her, so before our arrival to Porto, we made a screenshot of vegan restaurants in the center, from the HappyCow website. We had very little time and we chose Vegana by Tentugal, as it was the nearest to the meeting point with the rest of our group...

If I could, I would rate it with 5+ stars. The owner and her mother were very, very patient and helpful when we presented them the list of forbidden and permitted ingredients. Finally, my wife chose Mixed salad and Soup and I took the sandwich No. 10. The portions were huge, they tasted delicious and were a good value for the money!!!

I really don't want to underestimate the other vegan restaurants in Porto, as we were not long enough there to try them all, but somehow it seems to me that we had chosen by chance one of the best, if not the best!

Obrigado, Vegana by Tentugal!!!

Pros: delicious vegan food, huge portions, good value for the money

Vegan Love in Porto - Edit

This is just a beautiful vegan space. There is an extensive but simple menu of consisting mainly of toasties and sandwiches. We had the soup of the day which was cabbage and red kidney beans, a cheese and ham toastie and a freshly made chorizo, mushroom and pineapple pizza with a couple of soya coffees for €15. Whilst this might not sound particularly inspiring, the effort and detail involved in preparation was evident. We were made to feel very much at home here by the owner, she is a truly inspirational vegan warrior.

Pros: very friendly , 100% vegan, great prices

Super accueil - Edit

Il s'agit là d'un magasin 100% vegan avec un espace restauration où nous avons dégusté une excellente tarte salée et des pâtisseries. La responsable nous en a appris beaucoup sur le veganisme au Portugal, c'était un échange très agréable.

Pros: Accueil-Magasin-Restauration

Great surprise at the end of my visit to Porto! - Edit

I wish I had seen it before (It is incredible it was in the same street as my accommodation!!)
I went kind of late, but the lady that helped me was really nice. She sold me a couple of packages of the best vegan cheese I’ve ever had and prepared me an exquisite ham and cheese sandwich. Unfortunately, that day she didn’t have any Pasteis de nata left so I was a bit sad to leave Porto without trying them.
Anyway, I really recommend to visit this lovely place!

the best vegan shop in Porto! - Edit

I stayed longer in Porto and had the pleasure to go to this place many times. Marcia, the owner, always provide different pastries every day and some of it are tradicional portuguese pastries (such as pastel de nata). The tost with vegan cheese is delicious! And the shop has many vegan products that I couldnt find anywhere else.

Pros: has different vegan products

Cons: none

Great place - Edit

The location is not the best but the food is lovely. Miscellaneous vegan options for food and drinks. Might be because I'm newly vegan that I really like this place but they have a rich variety of options.

The best in porto for shopping and snacking - Edit

The traditional Portuguese savory snacks and pastries are fantastic! For those who are vegan and want to try the vegan version of very traditional staple snacks and typical pastry in Portugal, this is the best place. So far I have tasted the dried tomato peppers and olives pies, the leek pies, the jackfruit dumplings and the Tentúgal pastries and they are simply amazing. In the charcuterie the smoked vegetable "alheiras" (a kind of traditional Portuguese sausage) are outstanding and the "linguiças" ( another typical sausage) are a rustic must! Offers such a great variety of cheeses and tofu. The smoked sliced cheese for toasts is a delight. There are many others great cheeses for various occasions and dishes. Definitely a pearl in the north for a life full of gluttony and with no animal oppression at very affordable prices

Inspired me to leave my first ever review! - Edit

I couldn't love this little shop/cafe more. I had a fantastic burger there today, we took away a litre of bio-wine for €2, I had countless coffees there and honestly I could have bought half the shop if I wasn't on a strict mini break budget!

The burger was one of the best vegan burgers I've had and the coffee is always great.

The owner is also delightful and has impeccable English so I don't have to embarrass us both with my awful Portuguese.

Highly recommended.

Pros: Friendly , Good opening hours , Good value

We fell in love with the place and the owner: she is caring and sweet, the food on the menu is simple but genuine and made with love. The dishes are abundant and fairly cheap. Totally recommended if you are ok with cold dishes and don't mind waiting a little.

Nice place! - Edit

It's a cozy shop with a small restaurant on the side. The shop sells all the basic vegan groceries, and the restaurant offers sandwiches, salads and some desserts. The prices are on the lower side compared with other places in Porto. For example, sandwiches are 2-3€ and the cake was 1.6€ for a big slice.
The service was very friendly and the overall atmosphere left a very good impression. Highly recommended for all Porto visitors.

Pros: Good value , Shop-restaurant combination , Friendly service
