Vegana Burgers - Mercado de Campo de Ouriqu

Vegana Burgers in Mercado de Campo de Ourique was a bit of a disappointment to me, since I know the Saldanha Residence restaurant previously for the many times I went there.
In this market place in Campo de Ourique the menu is not the full menu. There are some burgers not available... also the meal accompaniments available are only 3... not having the raw carrots, broccoli or couscous.. also they don't serve the drink. The menu comes without the drink. We are asked to go to buy the drink in another place... I cannot recall if the price of menu is the same as in Saldanha Residence with a drink... They could serve at least tea. I know the place is small, but tea is so easy to have available for customers as a service.

This food stall is inside Mercado de Campo de Ourique, next to other food stalls selling fish or meat.

The market is similar to the Mercado da Ribeira (Time Out Market) but much smaller, less touristy and crowded. People meet here and enjoy the various food and drink options. Buying your groceries isn’t the main reason to come here, and is only possible till about 2 PM. We enjoyed the atmosphere there.

Vegana Burgers offers 8 different vegan burgers, creatively put together. They are also gluten free, and while I was very pleased to find vegan options at this market, the burger I had chosen was just OK. I would have preferred wheat or rye bread and a heartier patty… But their focus is on healthy food.
A burger, accompanied by salad, was 8,10 €.

It is a good option when you are in the area or plan to visit the market or Prazeres cemetery. It is a good place to go when you are accompanied by friends who would like to eat fish or meat, as there is something for everyone at the market.

Vegana Burgers seems to be an expanding food chain, there's at least another one in Lisbon.
