Great Kimchi

I love Korean Food and Kimchi to be precise! Having so many dishes with Kimchi and a few dishes westernized in the restaurant was a plus!!!
One of the guys who served me initially which I think it was the owner (Italian) was quite nice and explained all kimchis they had and also gave us some samples to try. My friend never have had kimchi before and both are non vegan. We all loved our food. The cocktails were quite disappointing only but very strong! Only reason I am not giving 5 starts to this restaurant is because in the very end we didn’t have a good experience when the lady came to charge us (I think she was the other owner - Korean lady). We had ordered a few deals and when paying the bill we just took a while to figure out what we were paying for! On the top of everything there was a service charge being charged (which I am totally fine to pay), when I asked her what was that charge she said twice it was a charge for charity? Like?! If you are charging your customer service charge be honest and upfront about it.

I quite fancy going here so I went on the website and if it makes you feel any better it says that they don't charge service fees but request a donation to their Mia Mamma foundation charity instead, so maybe thats where the confusion was!

Fantastic find!

Cozy restaurant with extremely friendly and knowledgeable owners... we ate three courses of beautiful food, accompanied by amazing wines and cocktails. Would highly recommend if you're anywhere near...

Pros: All vegan, colourful and creative.

Cons: Not a massive dining area.

Vegan Yes

I hate to say this and give a lower rating to this place, but I didn't like the food. The flavors of the vegan gnocchi were a mixture of Italian and Korean and, frankly, it was not a good combination for me. What stood out was a very strong tomato paste flavor. The people running the restaurant were incredible people. I'll likely give this place another shot in the future and will try something else.

Yes!

I’ve been walking around for ages and for some reason tried just now. And yes, I liked it!

The kimchi here is just mmmm delicious. Tried all four different types in different dishes and can say that the red and yellow are my fav! So yummy!

Must say that I’m not big lover of mochi, but here I enjoyed it a lot!

For two starters two mains and two desserts paid £31 which is friendly price for the location. Everything’s home made and actually tastes like real food.

The owners were very friendly and helpful😄

Finally made my way back to get more of fermented deliciousness!
Starter sea weed salad and all four different kimchi plate. My two favourite things(kimchi and sea weed)! Bibimbap and udon soup with kimchi for mains. And ofc mochi as dessert. Asano and some cbd beer to flush it down. Great!

Looking forward to be back

Creativity, generosity, health and taste

I love this restaurant and eat there often.
The food (all plant based, Korean-Italian fusion!) is so good, creative and healthy. Very good value as well. And the owners are super friendly and interesting people!
I recommend the kimchi burger, chocolate mochis, and everything with the kimchi (my favs are green and purple!!!)
Check out their cookbook by the way :)

Awesome

Went just before lockdown and had a superb experience. Wish I could have their kombucha on tap. Can't wait to be back in London to try more. Really different menu. Well done.

Impressive creations

I loved this place, the owner was so friendly and let me try samples, and it was obvious how passionate he is about what he does and the Italian/Korean fusion creations he's put together.

I had the toppognocchi with their homemade turmeric bread there and bought the chocolate gnocchi to take away, and I'd never tried different flavours of kimchi before. If you're in London I'd definitely recommend stopping by. There's a small area for sitting in or you can get dishes to take away.

Delicious, unexpected combination

Had to see what Korean/Italian fusion tasted like and we were not disappointed! Toppognocchi and Kimchi Udon were both amazing, and we had the 4 Colour Kimchi Salad and Kimchi Viola Inari as starters. Paired very nicely with beer, and the owner also has homemade flavored kombucha. Very friendly and fast service too. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: All vegan, Yummy and unexpected cultural fusion, Good prices

Just try it! We loved the kimchi lasagna and the gnocchi/rice sticks dish.
The owners know what they're doing and are really friendly and helpful.
The place is small but that's my only complaint. So happy to have found it!

Pros: Really original dishes - best of both worlds, Friendly staff, great playlist too, Reasonable prices for the area

Cons: A bit small/cramped

Delicious healthy homemade food

Lots of options, from raw bibimbap to kimchi lasagna to gnocchi, and the most delicious mochi I've ever had for dessert (with a nice cappuccino). Everything homemade by the owners, a very nice Italian-Chinese couple, preserving the authentic taste of the regional cuisines and creating tasty fusions. There's even homemade grappa for better digestion!😉Healthwise, all sorts of fermented foods to enrich the gut microbiome.

Pros: Lots of options , Healthy ferment, Nice and interesting owners

A fusion that works!

I was a bit sceptical to see how this would work but the food is delicious and the owners are delightful. High quality food not cooked on site but still delicious. I will definitely visit again and recommend.

Excellent!

We had dinner at this lovely little place. Ordered the lasagna, the Korean rice cake/ gnocchi and the mochi. The food was very fresh, inventive and tasted great. I have to say I was a bit skeptical about the Korean-Italian fusion idea, but the food was absolutely amazing. The owner is a lovely and funny man who also makes great drinks. Prices are fair. I would definite recommend this place!

Pros: Great taste, Lovely owner, Fair prices

Cons: Cash only

Amazing food, amazing service

From the moment we walked into the door the owner was warm and welcoming. He took time to talk to us about the food he makes and explained the process of everything. Then with his help we picked what we wanted to eat and the food was absolutely incredible. We’ve been in London for two weeks on holiday and this was by far the best food we have had while here. Highly recommend!
