Nice vegan food, but nothing too special. Nice to have one fully vegan place on the island but prices were quite high even though the food was not super interesting or tasty. I had a bowl, a cake and a cappuccino for 22 euros. Service was super friendly though but rather slow, was waiting for my coffee for quite a while.

We were so happy to find this place upon arriving in Madeira. We ate here quite a few times and loved all of the food. My favourites are The Be Kind burger and the chocolate brownie. Really friendly service and was made to feel at home straight away!

Perfect place in Madeira if you want to have a variety of dishes you can choose as a vegan.
Read moreI like the varity of different meals: Burgers with Fries, pasta with mushrooms and cream, bowls with rice and vegetables. And healthy, tasty (not too sweet) smoothies or limonade (also you can drink beer and wine Here).
What I ate in a few days here:
- The barbecue burger with fries: The BBQ Burger was very tasty though i did not recognised any bby sauce. But instead it had even more pesto.
- Heaven in a bowl: Nice varity of vegetables - pumpkin, peas, very spicy mushrooms and Brown rice. Very tasty and a good mixture.
- pasta carbonara: taste it! It was the best vegan carbonara i have ever had.
- lentil soup: it was okay - tasty, but nothing special (some spices were needed)
- mixed salat: it was okay. The red cabbage does not tasted very good (maybe pickled red cabbage?), rest of the vegetables were good. Sauce could be more interesting.
- brownie with ice cream: just delicious 🥰
Some points can be improved: The portions are too small (take a bowl as a Starter, then you're not hungry anymore 😅). Some dishes could have more taste in it. The Staff is friendly but seems a bit bored.
All in all its a good place for tasty vegan meals and a must-visit in Madeira. Extrapoint that it is a completly vegan Restaurant 🥰!

Es gab Burger, Nudeln und Bowls als Hauptspeise. Der chili BBQ Burger war gut hatte aber zu wenig Biss. Die Carbonara Nudeln waren jedoch sehr lecker. Leider war die Limo viel zu sauer und das Personal nur bedingt freundlich.

Don‘t get the bowl!!! - Edit
I‘m very sad to give a vegan restaurant such a bad review but let’s say this: The bowl I had (garden bowl) was what non-vegans think vegans eat. For almost 10€ the smallest bowl with no sauce, no love, no carbs, not balanced at all, very dry. The half of the bowl was green lentils, which were super dry without a sauce. A tiny bit of avocado, hummus, broccoli and carrots. That’s it!!! I was soo disappointed and still hungry after that. I really don’t understand how anyone can serve a bowl like this and think it‘s tasty. The staff was nice so 1 point for that.

Read moreFirst, you arrive and your handed menu which is chaotic bunch of papers with sometimes not clear or very basic translations.
The guy who was serving us was very nice and helpful, the service was bit slow tho as he was the only one on the floor and the place was pretty much full as soon as they opened.
We had mushrooms and the olive bread as starters, unfortunately the typical Portuguese “croquettes” were not available. Both starters were tasty but very basic.
For mains tagliatelle which as someone earlier mentioned had nothing to do with carbonara😅 they were delicious anyways!:)
Risotto, also very nice and happy to have gf option too!
Desert was a “snickers” tart. I had recently few of those and would put this one somewhere in the middle, not bad, not mind blowing.
Big problem for me was the “atmosphere”. With all those “mindful” quotes around and hearts and symbols of peace. Accompanied with the queen playlist which after all the most famous hits turned into bob marleys biggest hits playlist 😭 bit cringe for me. I did like the box they serve a bill in, that had some vegan message and was more of my cup of tea and balance it out

Schade einem voll veganem Restaurant nur zwei Sterne geben zu müssen. Unsere Smoothies waren leider wirklich enttäuschend geschmacklos, was bei der Auswahl an sehr gutem frischen Obst hier traurig ist. Das Essen war nicht wirklich besonders, es hat Geschmack gefehlt. Es waren mehrere Gerichte und keine Desserts verfügbar.

The "Tagliatelle à Carbonara" have nothing in common with their traditional counterpart - which is to be expected, since there is no vegan replacement for any of the original ingredients.
Read more"Tagliatelle with mushrooms" would be a more fitting name for this overall tasty, but very simple dish.
"Mushroom risotto" is the vegan version of a standard risotto. Mushroom lovers should choose this over the aforementioned noodles (and add a bit of salt & pepper).
For dessert they offered a brownie with ice cream - again simple, but a no brainer if done right. Could not stop eating, this alone made me upgrade my rating to 4 stars.
For the sake of completeness:
Had the roasted bread as starter. A nice version of bolo do caco with more variety of spices.
Had a smoothie, which was okay.
Pros: Variety (Bowls, Noodles, Rice, Burgers), Tasty, heavy dessert, Good portion sizes
Cons: Simple recipes, Must have a reservation or be very early

Was lovely to find a fully vegan restaurant so close to our hotel. We tried both of the bowls (happy bowl and protein bowl I think they were called) they were lovely and really filling. A nice change from vegan burgers. We then tried the banana bread and chocolate torte which were also lovely and tasty! Great drinks choice and a variety of food options.

Loved it! - Edit
Went twice. First time for a burger and second time for the mushroom risotto. Really tasty! This place is quite popular (totally understand that), so come early or make a reservation. Second time we went it was really crowded, so everything took a bit longer. But still worth the wait. Also had the chocolate cheesecake for dessert, so good! Madeira needs more restaurants like this!

I love flavoursome whole food plant based food and the two dishes we had ('burger be kind' and 'tagliatelle girass') were low on vegetables and taste and high on processed and unwholesome ingredients. If you want healthy and delicious vegan food, don't come here.
