A vegan dream...what a find! - Edit
On holiday in Madeira. Called in for early afternoon coffee and brownies (stunning) and was hooked. Booked a table for the evening and was not disappointed. It was heaven! Mushroom bruschetta to start followed by Surprise Burger 🍔 and then red berries cheesecake. My husband had the Get Dirty Burger. We were delighted with everything. Very large portions, charming staff. All the flavours were amazing. It was very busy, full in fact, so best book a table.🌱💚✨️👌🏽

This food is always a hit! My friend and I have come here multiple times. I definitely recommend getting a reservation because there is limited seating.
Read moreThe first time we got the nachos to start and enjoyed it. My friend had never had cashew cheese before because she isn't vegan and she loved it! The guacamole on the side of the nachos has a good amount of olive oil and the veggies are so fresh and light.
I got a power bowl which is a really nice big salad but I also wanted some fries so I ordered a side of that.
The power bowl was huge and very filling. I definitely did not need an order of fries. My friend ordered the brownie and I tried a bite! It was so rich and gooey and delicious.
Another time my friend got the gnocchi and she said she loved the sauce but didn't love the gnocchi itself. I did not try it so I have no idea.
I got the surprise burger the next time because the homemade lentil patty sounded delicious.
The vegan burger was really yummy and I loved the pickled onions that come as a topping. The vegan mayo is good too because it isn't overwhelming and definitely doesn't overpower any flavors. Of course the fries on the side were perfect as usual.
I love this place and will come back again I'm sure!

Madeira's Best - Edit
This is a really lovely spot, and well worth a visit. It isn't just great because it's the only fully vegan restaurant, but because everything is such high quality and tasted amazing.

We tried two of their smoothies (Pink and Powerful) which were beautifully smooth and creamy, and super vibrant. Then for starters we tried the Sweet Potato and Beet Slices (which were soft and tasty) and the Portobello Mushrooms (and gosh were these some of the yummiest mushrooms I've ever had, nicely herby and not too spicy).
For mains we tried the Gnocchi (super creamy and moreish), the Veganbonara (again super creamy and authentic), the Get Dirty Burger (well put together with fresh bread and a solid combination of fillings), and finally the Francesinha (unique and scrummy).
We probably didn't need dessert, but that didn't stop us. We had a Caramel Cheesecake, a Strawberry Cheesecake, a Brownie with Pistachio, and (my personal favourite) a Chocolate Lava Cake. They were all deliciously fresh and flavoursome, the Choc Lava Cake especially was incredibly soft with the smoothest frosting I've ever had.

We were just so happy to have one all vegan option in Madeira. We have travelled around a bit and ate a considerable amount of burger and chips. It’s always nice to have options and desserts on a menu! It would be nice to see some more authentic native dishes though and a kids menu offering

Siamo andati a cena in questo ristorante con aspettative relativamente alte, sapendo fosse l’unica scelta interamente vegan.
Read moreGli starters non ve li consiglio, prezzi alti e sapori mediocri. I nachos li valuteremmo con un 2/10 e le frittelline al baccalà 4/10.
I panini erano molto saporiti e gustosi, un 8/10.
Anche i dolci provati da noi ve li sconsiglio perché sono risultati pesanti ma leggermente insapore, un 5/10.
Concludendo ci è piaciuto trovare un posto dove non dovessimo preoccuparci di chiedere cosa ci fosse nei vari piatti e la cameriera è stata veramente gentilissima, prezzi sopra la media. I voti sono bassi ma probabilmente abbiamo scelto male.
4 stelle per merito più di scelta che di esecuzione dei piatti. Magari sarete più fortunati!

Great vegan dishes - Edit
Went there 4 times in 3 days and enjoyed many dishes from the menu that is 100% vegan. Tried practically every dish, except the burgers.
Read moreThe food is well presented and tasty, but most of the dishes are not going to drive you crazy. I particularly preferred the "creamy beans", as it was not only tasty but the only dish served in a big portion. The pasta dishes were nice but the portions could be bigger.
The biggest negative for me about the menu (besides the burgers), is that they lack protein. This is something I have noticed in many other restaurants that serve vegan dishes. The amount of tofu is very small and it deters people who are looking to have a regular protein intake.
The "Francesinha" was a nice tasty sandwich, but the portion could be a bit bigger, compared to the same dish I had in other restaurants, and the sauce seriously lacks punch! Which is a letdown, because the sauce is usually the star in this dish. It was a good sandwich nonetheless.
The mushroom bruscheta was super good!!
The smoothies and the brownie were nice too.
Overall I was super happy to find a vegan place with a nice atmosphere, in Madeira, with a variety of dishes.
Pros: Mushroom bruscheta and the Creamy beans, Variety of dishes, Nice place with a nice terrace
Cons: Lack of protein in dishes, Nachos with very little guacamole

Visited with my family while on holiday in Madeira and came here for dinner. Four out of five of us are vegan, and everyone loved the food. The non-vegan had the Get Dirty Burger and really enjoyed it.

This dinner was so good after a week of eating rubbish. We got two purple power juices (yum), the carbonara and the pistachio gnocchi. I liked the gnocchi the best. We also got a delicious Greek salad which I'm hoping to recreate at home!

It’s nice that there is a fully vegan place on the island with quite some options. Enjoyed the food. Staff was nice but not the most fluent in English and quite slow. We were sitting outside already over 15 minutes before they asked for our order. Once we had ordered service was good again though (so Kitchen was quite quick). Our mains came quickly after we finished our starters.

I had the vegan carbonara (my favorite before waking up and going vegan), hubs had the vegan lasagna, and we ordered our son plain pasta with garlic and olive oil. The pasta came with a small salad which was needed to cut through the richness.
My pasta was mid. But filled me up. Prior reviews said it taste so close to the real thing so my expectations were unfairly higher than they should’ve been.
The lasagna was very beany in flavor for me but my hubs enjoyed it. Nothing about it was lasagna in flavor only the layering.
My son loved his pasta.
We ordered cinnamon rolls the brownie and a cream type cake.
Those were delicious
We’re going back for lunch.
