Great People, Average Food - Edit

Note: I am submitting a location change request, as the location here on Happy Cow is wrong and the instagram one is correct. This is from my visit in August 2022, which I am just now writing about as I lost access to my account for some time.

Anyway, overall the food is fine from this food truck and the people are good, although we arrived at the truck and nobody was there, and when I called the number available on the website the owner answered it saying it was her personal number and not the business’s, and we had to wait about 5-10 minutes for them to come out and get set up.

We got some classic coneys and they tasted fine, but it was more like a mixture of things I could by at the store (hot dog buns, vegan sausage, daiya shredded cheese) rather than something unique I could get here.

Maybe the other foods here are much better. It certainly looks like that so I’d like to go back next time im in my hometown. Their soul food offerings on Sundays look great. Sadly I couldn’t go on a Sunday.

Anyway, despite the rough start the people were awesome and I’m glad I went

@RDee it’s not my restaurant man, but if I were wondering if they were open I’d message them on insta. Probably most reliable communication channel, if not the website phone number (but its a personal one listed so…)

The best vegan food truck we've been to. Owners/employees were very kind and helpful. Everything was really good & priced well.

Tasty vegan junk food - Edit

The food was pretty good. Some of the fried meat alternatives were very greasy but they were deliciously breaded and re-seasoned. My favorite part of the meal was the coney dog. It was so bomb. Next time I’ll get two. My children enjoyed the Mac n cheese and fries and a little of the coney dogs. Chocolate cake was perfectly moist and they give you such a large portion. My only complain was that the mac n cheese needed something more. Oh I forgot the supreme meat burrito was great as well. Can’t really go wrong here. Perfect place to go when you want some greasy vegan junk food that’s super tasty!

I’d totally go back when visiting Cincinnati.

Pros: Everything’s vegan no guesswork , Most everything is tasty, Not too expensive

Cons: Too far away from Indianapolis , Mac n cheese needs work

Yummy Soul Food - Edit

The folks who own this truck could not be nicer.... They were kind enough to educate my daughter on how certain things are made and it was a very nice experience. Although the truck serves tacos, coneys, burgers etc. all week, they offer soul food only on Sunday. We ate there for lunch and has vegan ribs, steak, greens, Mac and cheese, and corn pudding. It was very good and we will be back.
