Tourist Trap - Overpriced and Overhyped - Edit
I usually avoid leaving negative reviews for fully vegan establishments, but unfortunately, this was one of my least enjoyable dining experiences in Japan so far. While the food was of good quality, the overall experience left much to be desired and of all the options in Tokyo, I cannot recommend visiting this restaurant.
Read moreThe atmosphere was heavily commercialized, with an overwhelming number of English advertisements throughout the restaurant pushing their various add on's, which took away from the dining experience. Additionally, the prices felt quite high for what was offered. I also found it off-putting that the online menu included a section asking for tips, and there was an additional tip jar at the entrance—something that felt unnecessary given that tipping is not customary in Japan. It seemed to take advantage of tourists who may not be aware of local customs.
To top it off, as we were leaving, the waiter was quite persistent in pushing a map and asking for a review, which added to the discomfort. Unfortunately, I wish I had a more positive experience to share, but based on my visit, I can't recommend this place.
In my opinion, vegan sushi is difficult to execute well in Japan, where the focus is on fresh seafood. If you’re looking for plant-based options, I’d suggest exploring other traditional Japanese dishes (ramen, soba, etc.) rather than seeking out vegan sushi, which may be better enjoyed back home.
Pros: All vegan
Cons: Atmosphere, Price, Touristy

The staff was welcoming from the get go and had an English menu. The food is tasty and their menu is simple to read with command and payment made online directly

Best vegan sushi experience in the world - Edit
If you're a visiting vegan, you should prioritize visiting here! Your experience here is worth every yen. There is a simple menu that is based on offering the chance to try everything the restaurant has to offer in each individual meal, including certified vegan sake. Each piece is unique and incredibly delicious. On top of that, the vegan owner and staff are so friendly, speak English perfectly, and will speak with you and make the whole experience so fun for each visitor.

Amazing experience, as vegan sushi is not easy to find in Japan. The Sushi was presented beautifully, and it was fun trying all the different flavours! My favourites were the Tuna and Tempura.

So happy to get sushi in Tokyo! - Edit
Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious sushi. This was the first time I’ve been able to get vegan sushi that wasn’t maki.
Read moreI ended up getting the special to try a little bit of everything. And I really did enjoy everything - from the delightful fried tofu in the miso, the satisfying ice cream, and of course the sushi itself. I really enjoyed all the sushi, each piece was unique and offered a different flavor and textural experience, but the shrimp and mushrooms were probably my favorite. I also thought the house made pickled ginger was the best I’ve ever had.

An expensive, but creative and delicious experience! - Edit
Delicious, and all the options are soo creative , it’s a small sushi, so it’s a bit hard to go in, you have to put your name on the list at the door and wait, it’s already known, so always busy. The sushi set is already setup, so the 10 sushi’s are the base, you can add more things but not order less than that. The staffs are Vegans, which is nice, and not usual in Japan, and explained us each sushi in English. I loved the “shrimp sushi”, was soo good. Is not a cheap place, but worthy.

Unique Vegan Sushi Experience - Edit
Even if you’re vegan, you can still enjoy traditional Japanese sushi at this unique spot, where vegetables take center stage. Each piece of sushi highlights a single vegan ingredient as the star, beautifully crafted to resemble the original. I paired this memorable lunch with sake and ended it with a fantastic dessert. I truly hope to return one day!

Don’t miss it! - Edit
Great little spot up the stairs, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya! We were able to get in without a reservation on a Saturday. We opted for the 10 piece set with the sake flight and can’t recommend it highly enough! The sake was incredible, as was every single sushi piece we had. The tempura topped one was a standout! But the secret star of the set was the vegan ice cream at the end. It was such a wonderful experience overall. The restaurant is so cute with lots of small touches - things like every seat having a unique chopstick rest. They also gave us a little card with a Google maps list of other recommended vegan restaurants in Japan - so helpful!

Superb! - Edit
I think the owners were right to create a vegan sushi restaurant — there aren’t nearly enough of them! A rare find in Shibuya amongst the ramen establishments.
Read moreEvery sushi is lovingly made and thoughtfully seasoned to bring out the best of the ingredients. Highly recommend getting the full set (alcoholic or not). The Kyushu style cold miso soup, and the ice cream are delicious too!
My only complaint is that they are not open for dinner! Highly recommend booking if you can, as it can get very busy.
