Est. June 2024. Fully vegan restaurant serves traditional sushi using vegetables and other vegan ingredients unique to Japan. Pumpkin paste, Ikura (red caviar), scrambled eggs, avocado roll, tempura roll, eringi (king oyster) mushroom, meat, myoga (Japanese ginger), shiitake mushroom, kabayaki (tofu). Reservations required and may be done through the website. Relocated from Dogenzaka 1-chome-17-2 2F, Shibuya. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:00pm-8:00pm. Hours are subject to change - check ahead.

This is an absolute must do for an authentic feeling vegan sushi meal in Tokyo! The sushi is incredibly delicious, the service was excellent, we had sake flights too and the sake was so delicious it really helped to make the meal. Make sure you book in advance, and it is quite expensive but I’d recommend booking the Vegan Sushi Tokyo Sake set (6000¥), in my opinion it’s worth it!

The best vegan sushi - Edit
As a vegetarian sushi lover, I was surprised how few vegetarian sushi options were available in Tokyo. Fortunately, my husband and I found this lovely little restaurant serving fully vegan sushi. The sushi was clearly made with passion, which was shown by both the visual presentation of the food, the delicious flavors and the way the staff presented their concept and sushi to us. Both me and my non-vegetarian husband had a lovely experience at this restaurant. I would highly recommend everyone, regardless their diet, visiting this place when staying in Tokyo. :)

I bought the sushi set which came with 10 types of sushi and 5 toppings (wasabi, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, yuzu pepper and miso). They guide you to eat them at order with recommended toppings but you are free to do as you like.

It’s fine. If you want the true Japanese sushi expirence, this is it. Personally as a vegan, I don’t want to see fake fish or fake eggs. I prefer vegetables. I’m sure this style of sushi is great for others. My preference is just American sushi. Great presentation and great sushi. At the end of the day, it was just personal preference.

Very delicious and freshly made sushi. It's explained what "sauce" goes well with which sushi, which is nice. The warm matcha donut was delicious too. A bit expensive, but I guess it's normal for sushi like that.

Read moreFYI - The 7000 yen booking credit card system is a poor design as it can take quite a few days to be returned (5 to 10).
A better system would be you pay the additional amount beyond the 7000 yen when you settle the bill but it's not a deal breaker.
Pros: Creative sushi and suggested seasoning with order, Peaceful setting, Excellent helpful staff
Cons: $7000 yen Credit card at booking, Paying for extra Miso 😔

Read moreWe ordered the Sushi Set with the Sake flight and Dessert. The different Sushi in the set were delicious. My favourites were the king oyster mushroom and the vegan tuna mayo. We ordered a few extra Sushi as well.
They offer a Sake flight which is a small cup of three different vegan Sake including a dry, fruity, and a sweet.
We got the Dorayaki for dessert. I recommend getting it with the ice cream as it was dry without it.

Bathroom inside.
Polite and friendly staff. Spoke some English.
Accepted me as a solo walk-in since I believe there was a no-show. I didn’t know about reservations since I found it on Google maps.
Looked like cute date spot. Noticed lots of couples there. Fun sushi experience. Cozy. Go upstairs.
For dessert… eat DORAYAKI here. Get some donuts for Takeout!

You also get a card with a QR-Code to a List of vegan Restaurants in Japan.
I would recommend to make a reservation if you want to visit due Dinner-Time.
And be aware of the fact that they don't accept cash as payment. You should have a credit-card of apple-pay.
