We ordered the fried chicken (which is maitake tempura), the tuna mayo roll and the mushroom roll and some tofu maki and kinda walked out hungry for 50 bucks. The fried chicken isn't good for fried chicken but for shroom tempura, it was the best I've had so far. Big big fan of the shiso in the tuna mayo roll. The mushroom roll was the peak of umami. Tofu maki was good. Service was fast & friendly

Been a little disappointed with the vegan restaurant in Amsterdam, this is definitely the best one so far and is probably the best sushi I've ever tried!
Read moreTried in total the Crunchy California, Mighty Mushroom, and Shrimpless Tempura Crunch rolls, the salmon maki, Takoyaki “Octopus” Balls, miso soup, as well as the Matcha tiramisu. California rolls were definitely the highlight followed closely by the Shrimpless tempura but everything was so good! Matcha tiramisu and salmon maki were quite subtle flavours by comparison but still really good!
A little expensive but honestly cheaper than most places in Amsterdam I've visited.

We ordered the crispy bites (jackfruit base) as well, which we didn’t liked, we mentioned it immediately and they removed it from our table and we didn’t had to pay for it, very good service if you ask me! 👌🏼

Ended up here after 2 happy cow fails, really wasn’t in the mood for sushi but needs must.. The place totally won me over, all sushi made with black rice which is a total winning combo, tasty and nutritious. Loads of good options, I went for the sweet potato tempura and green miso, 8 pieces for 13€, bit pricey but the staff were cool and I had a long slow sitting and it made it worthwhile.

The sushi was really good and interesting. The non-vegans with us loved it. However, the crunchy chikin starter was disappointing as it wasn't crunchy and instead oily, which indicates the oil wasn't the right temperature.
Read moreI found the sushi to be very pricey: up to €18 for only 8 pieces. When we payed with card, we were encouraged to tip 10%. Unlike the US, this isn't expected in the Netherlands so it was weird to be asked when this didn't happen in any other restaurant we visited (instead, there is a tip jar which you can leave change or round up the bill).

Love that it's plantbased. Prices are a bit high, but that seems to be overall in Amsterdam: smaller pieces and pricier. I wish there were more rolls without the colored rice and that the rice would stick bettee together, but taste is always really good!
