Terrible experience - Edit
Our order was cancelled an hour and half after it was placed on UberEats without any notice or message. This place is known for bad and arrogant customer service. Working in the NHS is tiring right now...you just want to come home eat and relax. Not have to deal with stupid customer service, who should be glad of the business.

The mains we got were great (burger and shaorma), both came quickly and were full of flavour!
Read moreWe also tried the snickers dessert which had a great taste but was practically frozen when it arrived, making it extremely difficult to eat... We didn’t mind too much as we were quite full, so we just took it home and once it had defrosted it was fab!

Really lovely atmosphere and sophisticated but inclusive food - Edit
Loved it! The starters were really nicely put together and everything was comforting but unique. I'd recommend getting dessert as they are delicious and beautiful!

Large, modern, high ceilings, airy - such a welcome contrast to many other vegan places. Bizarre location but well worth seeking it out..large menu, excellent choice and high quality. Friendly service, and relaxing cool jazz on the sound system (when we were there). Recommended !!

We had our small dog with us & they accommodated us without any fuss. Lots of lovely food to choose from. Tiramisu was absolutely gorgeous. Really friendly staff.

Amazing vegab restaurant with Romanian specialities - Edit
We were really excited about a vegan restaurant opening as in the area we do not have that many options and also based on the menu we saw it had Romanian specialities, as so more joy to taste food from back home.
Read moreWe went an evening and the menu did not let down, besides the traditional dishes like stuffed wine leaves, mici and of course vegan dessert(Amandina), there were also burgers, pizza, pasta and salads.
I went with a budda bowl, clean ingredients but was lacking any dressing as it was a bit dry to eat.
We also ordered shaorma that honestly tasted like the real thing we remember, down to the pickeled cucumbers and mayonaise. The mici( Romanian kebab) were good.
For dessert we had a cheescake that was nice.
During festival ocassion they also make cozonac, the east European equivelant of Pannetone which is really good.
The food was good, not to salty or oily as we find it to be in other places.
Recently we went back during the day for the buffet and ate stuffed cabbage leafs, stuffed peppers with polenta, zacusca and potato salads amongst others 🙂 Compared to before the buffet was more salty and oily, but good price for the diversity of options.
Pros: Entirely vegan with large menu, Romanian specialities, Nice atmosphere

Great way to spend an evening - Edit
Beautifully designed restaurant, very different for vegan places I have been to before. I ordered the Buddah bowl and the after eight dessert, both were delicious and the presentation was excellent. The manager came over to have a chat with us, she was really lovely and gave us lots of interesting information about the food. I will definitely be back!

Nice place with great food - Edit
Had dinner with my friends yesterday at Vegan Spartan. The restaurant was nice, calming relaxing, the trees and wall moss make you feel you eat in the forest. We got free water at the table and i got a delicious biscuit with my coffee. Food was just perfect! I had the special pasta...amazing! My friends has pizza and the Spartan burger and also the green salad with a lovely cashew sauce. I loved the starter zacuska i think was the name...was a mix of roasted veggies and beans in the perfect combination. would be back soon just for this zacuska. for deserts we had the amandine and a slice of apple pie and in my opinion this might be the best apple pie i ever had and the vanilla cream on top of it was just perfect.

Good but can’t work out the location - Edit
The food was fantastic, maybe rather expensive, but would go again. It was worth it. I can’t work out the location and it makes no sense at all why they’re closed on Saturday evenings (that may be due to change or has already).

Happy Vegan - Edit
Had the buffet today. Thought I'd try a small sampling of each following a delicious celery and garlic soup, but I was full after. Just room to sample a small piece of each desert cake. Again, delicious. Came away deliciously full knowing I hadn't had any sugar. Could have gone back for more, but that would have spoilt things. Children's buffet available at half price.

Have visited a few times already and everything we have eaten has been totally delicious and so flavourful. I always have to make sure to leave room for some of their raw cakes that are truly out of this world! 😍
Read moreGo here with an open mind and try some of their different dishes like cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, aubergine dip (they give great recommendations if you’re not sure what to get!) or stay safe with sandwiches, pizzas, burgers and apple pie. There is something for everyone here.

Read moreThe food was divine. I shared smoked hummus with my partner and I had the spaghetti bolognese and he had the bbq chicken. Everything we had was 10/10 couldnt have faulted it at all. Even my meat loving partner devoured his vegan dinner! Really cant wait to come back!!! We love this place!!!!

Just wow! Food was awesome! The restaurant is within a mall so quite easy to access and the decor is absolutely stunning! I know where i"ll be celebrating my wife"s anniversaries from now on! I had the burger of course... so yummy and my wife had a stuffed pepper! Their dessert is sugar free! i honestly don"t know how can it be so creamy! If you go there make sure you also get the raspberry lemonade! ohh and the tea comes with some delicious biscuits on the side..i wanted extra and they gave us for free! definitely will be back for festive menu that sounds amazing! can"t wait!

Healthy food, friendly place for kids - Edit
went here last Sunday with my kids 4 and 9. I must say they are fuzzy eaters! The restaurant has a wow factor...you guys did a great job and not to mention the tree's and wall moss. The staff was friendly enough. Although they didn t have a kids menu our waitress recommended to get the mushroom pizza for our kids wich we did and was AMAZING! I was not too hungry so just got a starter for myself and amaranth caviar cought my eye. It was really new and interesting taste for me but I loved it. The menu is huge....you have lot's of options to choose from wich sometimes it's quite difficult. We would deffinetly come back to try the rest as we really enjoyed our time &food here. Now the cherry on the top are their raw vegan cakes...and they're sugar free yeey! Best place to eat healthy in Hemel! Especially with kids!

Profoundly Disappointing - Edit
Was so looking forward to this restaurant opening and called several times as the date kept moving back. It opened last week and I went for lunch on Sunday with my partner. Nice music and pleasant surroundings but the food was a mixture of ok to poor. I had a cashew cream dip with bread and hummus. The cashew cream was Nice, the hummus just ordinary but there were only 4 slivers of pitta to eat it with. I asked the waitress for more but she said that's what it comes with. The manager was present at the time and did not intervene. My partner had a pepperoni pizza without cheese and it arrived just above cold and was very dreary. The tomato paste was similar to the Sainsbury's basic range and actually, when my partner asked for no cheese the waitress said she would have to check if that was possible which made us wonder if it was frozen. We left the food as I didn't want to eat my dips with a spoon and the pizza was horrible so asked for the bill. The manager came to take payment and asked if all was ok. I said there was not enough bread and he said it doesn't come with any (it does and is noted on the menu) and then he said I should have asked for more. I said you were here when I did but then he went on to say no body else had complained about it - they've only been open 3 days! Said he'd have to check with chef if the pizza was cold - a ridiculous comment from a poor manager who can't acknowledge errors. We asked him to just give us the bill so we could go. Wish we'd got the vegan sub from next door! Exoensive venue but always happy to pay for good quality food. Howevee, you will not get it at this place - pretentious load of nonsense.

Thank you for your feedback. I am really sorry for your poor experience while visiting us for the first time. As we just recently opened we had some adjustments to make to improve our services. Regarding the number of slivers of pitta, we addressed that issue with the chef and is now rectified. I would like to apologise on behalf of the staff. The waitress wanted to check with the chef because in the first days she didn’t knew how are made all the items in the menu. I can assure you everything is done in house, starting from the tomato sauce to pizza, pitta etc. We don’t buy or use processed food. In regards to the taste of the pizza we have our set recipes and we cannot guarantee the quality of taste if any customer removes or adds any essential ingredients.

On the other hand we cannot have very low prices as all our ingredients are of the best quality and organic and everything is made in our kitchen, we don’t use processed food.
I would like to extend our apologies and ask you to give us another try. When you visit us next time I will offer you a 50% discount.
