Great monthly potlucks - Edit
I've gone to a few of the "2nd Saturdays" monthly potluck, and there's always been a large crowd and tons of very good (all vegan) food.
Pros: Lots of food (all vegan), Learn new recipes and ideas from others

Vegans - Edit
They have a Vegan meetup group potluck in the montrose area and thanksliving in November plus vegfest in the summer. The only downside they can push new age eastern religion that's a turns off I'm not wanting to change my religion!
Pros: Vegan , they have Vegan starter kits and flyers
Cons: promote new age eastern religion
