6 Stars. Definitely visit whilst here - Edit
This was the second time I’ve visited this magical place. You do need to reserve a table as it’s always busy and not many tables. I had the seafood platter for starter and seitan beetroot balls for main. My husband had the tomato soup and the haloumi salad. I was too full for dessert but I got the most delicious slice of cake which was sponge layered with mangosteen cream to take away. The staff were lovely. I’d personally like to shake the hand of the chef for producing such beautiful food. I did not want the meal to end I was enjoying it that much. Hands down the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been too. All that food and two hot chocolates for just under €40.

This place is insanely good - Edit
I can’t find any words to describe how great the experience in this restaurant was. Everything was just perfect. It’s very small so we had to make reservation in order to get a table, but it was worth waiting! Ingel provided us with some amazing service, the local beers they have in offer are very unique in flavour, the starters and main course were inspiring and rich. I think it was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had - or maybe actually the best! Thank you ❤️

Simply GO - Edit
Seriously, I will not repeat what others did here, you MUST GO. Fresh, well prepared, the dishes are like masterpieces, and the smell and flavours... Local beer and rhubarb sparkling wine, both so good!!! We ordered tempeh with orange, brown basmati rice, coconut-peanut sauce (I like it, but not that much because the mix of sweet and savoury "bothers" me, but I really wanna try it! Long time I didn't eat tempeh!). But the other 2 mains... Pasta shells filled with tofu and spinach in a white wine sauce and the seafood celeriac "burger" with artichoke puree... They were sent by heaven! Who is the cook?! She/he deserves a prize! And the staff was sooo friendly, we felt so happy and welcomed there, the atmosphere is really cozy and the decor so special in a medieval building. And the Gran Finale was the cappuccino cake, I asked them to save the last slice for me while we were waiting for the mains, and the cake is so soft, moist and light! Delicious! I said that I would not repeat what others made here in their reviews, but I just did... It's impossible not to be impressed by this restaurant.

Really high quality food. Affordable for excellent quality- we had two mains and two desserts plus one glass of wine each and coffee for just under 40 euros. The staff were just lovely and the setting is beautiful. Would love to return. A highlight of our visit

Wow! - Edit
We were so lucky to walk in just after we arrived in Tallin to get the last table because after us, the restaurant had to turn so many people away. Let's start with the service. Attentive, friendly, fantastic. The food. Wow. What a treat! For starters, we got the beetroot ravioli (cashew cream between very thin beetroot slices) and the 'seafood' platter. Everything on the plate was well thought-out. I'm still thinking about that cashew cream... The platter had a salmony carrot lox, seaweed salad and black caviar, and the zucchini noodles and slightly spicy papadum were a nice palate and texture cleanser respectively. For mains, we ordered the special of the day which was a chanterelle mushroom filo pie served on roasted vegetables with a moreish sun-dried tomato hummus. The other was the seafood celeriac steak (the celeriac was covered with seaweed and breaded) served on a cauliflower pear puree. The complimentary bread is some of the best bread I've eaten! We don't usually want bread with our meals but couldn't stop ourselves because it was that good. No room for dessert unfortunately.

My favorite in Tallinn - Edit
V is my favorite vegan place in Tallinn. It offers a very fine cuisine, with fresh products, original and very tasty. I went there twice and had the chance to try many dishes: the burger, the vegan platter, the pasta filled with pesto, a sea-taste starter, the burrito with mango sauce, two tomato soups, two cakes and one homemade icecream. Everything was incredibly amazing. I wish I could eat there everyday. My favorite dishes were the vegan platter, the chili tomato soup and the burger. The place is very centrally located so you have to book a table to have a chance to eat. The place is nice, as well as the staff. Unavoidable!

One thing I have to recommend is actually a cider that only a few restaurants in Tallinn offer - Sigismund apple cider. This has got to be my favourite alcoholic beverage.

Best vegan restaurant! - Edit
This is what I've been looking for my entire life! A great fine dining with food that knocks you of the chair. We found this by accident and managed to get a table by a walking which seemed to be a really happy accident for us. I felt soo excited by the menue and still got blown away by the food. Everything we orderd was a huge succes and we left the place happy down to the core. This place is worth a visit to Tallinn on its own.

Still my favourite vegan restaurant in the world - Edit
Usually a reservation is needed, although a small table or two may be available to walk-ins, and there a few tables outside. The menu has starters, soups, salads, mains ( €8.20-12.90) and desserts, and some gluten-free and wheat-free options. Local beers and ciders, organic wines, including a rhubarb sparkling wine (€4.90 a glass). First visit this trip, I had the orange-flavoured tempeh with brown basmati rice, coconut-peanut sauce and fennel salad, €8.20 - what a delicious flavour! My companion on another visit ordered the same dish, and it looked different (a different chef was on duty), with chunks rather than strips of tempeh and a thin slice of grilled aubergine. My other omnivore companion raved about the burger. I had the very tasty pasta shells stuffed with tofu and spinach, in a delicious white wine sauce. We appreciated the flavours and textures of the seafood plate too - well done! And the strawberry ice cream was a lovely end to the meal. On my final visit, I had the house-made iced tea; beet ravioli with cashew cheese starter (thinly sliced yellow beet); their complimentary, homemade, delicious black bread; the jackfruit-beet-chickpea balls with potatoes, smoky onion cream and herb hummus (dill, tarragon and others) and a Snickers-style cake to take away. What a meal! Love this place. I’ve been saying for years that V is my favourite restaurant in the world, and it didn’t disappoint this trip either. Opens at 12 noon every day. Menu items change regularly. Remember to make a reservation!

Busy Place! - Edit
Highly recommend making a reservation. Our food was good (red: not overly great) and the service was pretty good too. I appreciate the concept and overall the flavors were tasty. Nothing mind blowing but we were happy we visited. We got the Snack Platter for Two (pretty tasty), the Caesar Salad (just OK) and the Orange Tempeh (good). Happy to support this popular fully-vegan restaurant!
