Hands down the best restaurant in Tallinn (or maybe even Europe, who knows?)! Every dish I ever had was excellent! The prices are not cheap and the portions could be bigger. You are left craving for more because the food is just so delicious.

Best dinner (ever?) - Edit
The dinner was just fantastic. The food is amazing, we had snack platter, fish n chips and a cheesecake desert recommended by the waiter. Service was superb 10/10. The waiter was highly dedicated to what he does.

Ah, one of my favourite places in the whole universe! Do not miss the starters and desserts!! EPIC! The way they have thought of every detail and how they manage to deliver every time is just amazing. Always such a spot on experience and the staff is just lovely. I think that the cashew cheese, the pesto and the cakes are my favourite of them all, but it’s impossible to choose. Do not miss the bread either!
Read moreI also have to say that it’s incredible how they manage to combine the atmosphere of special evening but with zero feeling of uptight fancyness. There’s no pressure to dress or look middle class. I also feel that the prices are one of the most reasonable if you compare what you get. LOVE IT!!!

Great experience in this restaurant! Nice staff, beautiful food, unbelievable tastes. This place has it all. I had the best (tasting and beautiful looking) tofu fish and chips here. Also, Snickers and Oreo cakes are to die for! Highly recommend.

We had the daily special, ”fish” (tofu wrapped in seaweed) and chips, with tartar sauce and mashed peas. It was so good we could have had another portion directly, but we had to leave room for some dessert. The raspberry-lime cheesecake was lovely and zesty. And the pear ice cream on cinnamon cataiffi pillow was inventive and delicious.

Read moreThe restaurant had a pretty adorable interior and even though you're close to every other group eating there it feels sort of private.
You don't have to wait too long for your food, everything tastes very nice and the dishes fill stomachs perfectly.
Their prices are not too high especially considering the location in the old town.
( you can have a taste of every dish on the table even as a vegan haha)

I visited Tallinn in 2018 and I STILL dream about it. I’ve traveled to so many countries and I com honestly say my experience here was magical. It is very small and quaint. The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is honestly some of the most amazing I’ve ever had. I would go back in a heartbeat and thats saying a lot!! Love them!

Favourite for years! - Edit
I have been going to this restaurant since they opened a few years ago and even though many new vegan places have opened up all over Tallinn, none have yet been able to beat the quality of Vegan Restoran V with their ever-changing delicious menu. I especially recommend the starter called "Beetroot ravioli". As far as I know, it's something that's always on the menu and even though it's a small portion, it's really delicious.

I didn't take any photos because the food was so tempting I totally forgot. We had lovely cheese platter for starter, I think I will see dreams from it later. Main course was good but I could't eat the whole portion, it was quite big. I had pear icecream and my partner had cake as a dessert. I really regret not having the cake myself because the cake was definitely the best I've had. Luckily I was able to share desserts.

Omg. Everyone should go here. We were one vegan (me) and two omnis. We were all blown away. We got the cheese starter plate which was exceptional, and then I had the seitan tacos which were excellent too. Also couldn’t resist and had the pear ice cream dessert and it was HEAVENLY!!! Such a lovely atmosphere, really friendly service. Affordable fine dining, high quality food. Already made a reservation for tomorrow.

This place is fantastic. The food is so delicious and plenty of choice. Standouts were the cheese board - it was insanely good!!! The rhubarb fizz was unique and delicious. Suits vegans and non vegans. My non vegan husband said it’s the best vegan he’s ever had. (He eats both a vegan and non vegan diet!) The service was super friendly and it’s a lovely cosy restaurant. The quality of food you get is brilliant considering the really reasonable prices. Can’t recommend enough! Just make sure you book a table in advance so you don’t miss out!!

Beetroot ravioli with cashew cheese and basil pesto 6,20 €
"Fish cutlet" with smoky carrot cream, cauliflower sunroot puree and warm salad 9,80 €
Pear ice cream on a cinnamon kataifi pillow 5,70 €
Everything was super tasty, every bite a pleasure. The Beetroot ravioli, which has been a permanent fixture on the menu since the restaurants opening in 2014, deserves special mention.
Drinks:
Chiaretto Rosé 5,00 €
Still Water 2,50 € (I did not know that there is also free tap water).
Fine selection of drinks including homemade lemonade.
Ambience:
Cosy, warm, almost private/family atmosphere.
Service:
Friendly and helpful, at no time annoying. The food is explained to you after serving and recommendations are given.
Price-performance ratio:
Since there are reviews that have criticized the prices, I calculated the average prices for the respective dishes:
Starters: 3 x 6,17 €
Soups: 2 x 5,40 €
Salads: 2 x 7,65 €
Main dishes: 7 x 10,93 €
Desserts: 3 x 5,22 €
For what is offered, these are more than fair prices. Cheap vegan menu compared to other local restaurants. Yes, the portions are small, but in comparison and quality that are still reasonable prices!

Ate one of the best vegan risotto’s I’ve had, and the service was super friendly. Despite the fact we didn’t make a reservation, they had one table on the side left which we could use. I would recommend to make a reservation if you want to have a better view of the restaurant😉
