Good beginnings - Edit
It’s more 4.5 than 5 but for benign things. Food is good, although there’s no hiding that vegan pizza at Satriale’s (not a vegan place) is a different league. This one is solid though. The staff seem very keen and enthusiastic but not well coordinated among themselves. When we came, first nobody came to our table for like 15 minutes, a bit later we had each member of the staff independently ask us if everything was ok, which amounted to being asked five times in a row. I had PizzaGPT, which actually wasn’t too bad, except that the BBQ sauce didn’t fit at all and it would have been better without. Fungky pizza was good tho. The beers they have are good but I wish there was a slightly wider choice. The location is a big plus.

The nuggets weren't anything special, can really get anything like that in a supermarket for 1/3 of the price. But the dip was reaaally good tho! I didn't expect that from tomato sauce.
The pizza didn't really satisfy my craving. It sadly doesn't taste like omni pizza. The spice also ruined it a little for me. The bacon mayo was, like the other dip, hella good tho.
Now I'd go for the arancini, probably tuna pizza and a dessert. I'll give 4 for the potential, but this order didn't do it for me.

Read moreI discovered Vegan Pizza Bar in Den Haag last year and I loved it! When I saw they were coming to Utrecht, I was so happy!!!
Is a really good pizza, the dough is delicious and the handmade cheese is very tasty. So far, my favorite pizza is Oh no, Pesto and Carbonara, but I want to try others soon.
My favorite dessert there is brownie (the best brownie I've ever had) with ice cream, delicious!
In addition to everything, the atmosphere is nice and staff are very friendly too.

I’ve visited all locations and Vegan Pizza Bar coming to Utrecht is a gift straight from heaven. This is the best vegan pizza you’ll find in the city (and possibly anywhere👀); a must-try!

This place is beyond. I had the savage sausage pizza with bechamel sauce and tempeh sausage crumbles, you should definitely put that one on your bucket list. The arancini and calamari werd amazing. I may or may not have taken 3 desserts home, I can at least tell you that the monchou is amazing. Cant wait to come back!

I had a tasty savage sausage pizza. That was good, but I think the many 5 star ratings are a bit exaggerated. My kids shared a margherita, one of them didn’t realy like the taste. I would rate this place a 3.5/5

Garden pizza was good Italian style with eggplant zucchini veldsla. Served fresh hot. Arancini also good crispy with really nice vegan mayo. Did not like tuna pizza. I normally don’t order fake meat flavors, this proved why I don’t. No need for meat flavors in veg food. Appeal to veg customers on the power of vegan flavors. Gluten free crust is with tapioca, a little hard to chew. Lemonades underwhelm.

Read moreThe prices for a pizza (approx. €15) are also affordable for the size of the pizzas.
We both had the three-course menu (28 pp) with the tuna and salami pizza, of which the tuna was my favorite. Nice thin base, not too thick or chewy crust. And also a lot of choice of tasty sauces for your pizza or to dip the crust in (bacon mayo!!).
As a starter we had the risotto balls and chicken fingers. Both unique and very tasty!
For dessert: sorbet ice cream and cheesecake. The cheesecake was not really my thing in terms of structure and taste, but the cookie base was tasty.
The interior and atmosphere of the restaurant were nice.
This will undoubtedly be our new go-to pizza place in our city. I can't wait to try the rest!

I love this place! I had visited Vegan Pizza Bar before at its location in The Hague and thought it was great, so I was thrilled when I discovered a new location was going to open in Utrecht (which is a lot closer to where I live). Yesterday I went to eat there with my family. First of all, the place was decorated beautifully. The ambiance was relaxed and pleasant, and the staff were extremely friendly. Our order was taken swiftly and the overall waiting time was quite short. Secondly, the food was amazing: everybody at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I had three courses, and I really can’t decide which course I found to be the most delicious as everything tasted just as good as it looks in the pictures. In short, I can really recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food, regardless of whether they are vegan or not.

Starting with the positive, the price to portion ratio is fair, the pizza menu has a variety to choose from, and the service is kind. However, there are a few issues I hope are improved as I want to see all vegan businesses succeed.
Read moreFirstly, the place is understaffed. There was only one person on the floor preparing drinks and having to deal with customers and take away orders. She always had a smile on her face which I commend her for. I felt bad she was put in that position. We had to wait a long time to order and to pay at the end, again not her fault. The kitchen had 3 chefs but struggled to get the food out quickly and even take away orders were delayed. It took at least 45 minutes to get our food.
The pizza itself wasn't that great. I found the crust a bit heavy and chewy and the pizza with the bechamel base did not make a good sauce as it came out flavorless and a bit dry.
I hope they do well like their other restaurants, but I wouldn't dine here again.

I wonder if the 5-star-reviewers ever even had a good vegan Pizza in their lifes. The antipasti-platter as starter and the truffle parmesan fries were good, but the pizzas were completely disappointing. Especially the dough was very bad (too hard to cut, pretty tasteless), the Pesto Pizza tasted like nothing, just oil. Only the PizzaGTs topping was Tasty. The service is also expandable - we waited pretty long for our food even tough the Restaurant was empty, the sequence and also the invoice at the end was wrong. Never again.

pizzas average 15€ and aren’t overly big, but they are incredibly tasty. the flavor combos are divine. i have to admit: it’s better than vegitalian, an all time favorite.
