A dream whether you want ro try vegan versions of traditional greek cusine or stick with health staples like fresh smoohies and sallads. Beyond that their vegan sushi is excellent. They also offer great desserts. Five places for sitting inside with stable wifi. More sitting room outside but all the food is ready to take away.

I visited Vegan Nation twice in my 2-day stay in Athens. All the food I tried there was delicious! Firstly, the moussaka is hearty and rich. I also had the burger which was super tasty. For desserts, I tried the profiterole (not really a profiterole and more like a brownie submerged in vanilla pudding and chocolate ganache - decadent!), the peach pie, and the banana pudding. All of them were great. The chia pudding for breakfast was a bit thick for my liking, but the homemade fruit compote helped to lighten it. And to top off my wonderful experience, the girl who served me (Stephanie) was friendly and helpful. If I lived in Athens, I'd be a regular. I'll definitely be back when I return to the city!

I tasted the vegan sushi and the vegan mousaka! They were amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone who visits or lives in Athens. Also, I had the vegan cheesecake - I do not have words to describe it ^_^

I am thankful this place is here in the center of all the action for me....now I can climb a million more steps and hills Athens has to offer fully charged!

Here I had a phenomenal tabouleh salad with a vegan cheesecake . They have sandwiches, hot foods , cold, and desserts . Small shop , but the owner is incredibly friendly and kind. A must go to in Athens !

Athens was the last stop on my European trip and I didn't expect much vegan food variety so boy was I surprised to find this little gem 20 metres away from my accommodation!!!! Honestly the biggest lifesaver, was soooo sick of the make do overpriced salads and pastas which I faced throughout my trip. Came here approx 6 times maybe, I had the Vegan Moussaka, Tiramisu, Brownie, Carbonara, Bolognese, sushi and Peanut/Banana pressed juice. My absolute favourite was the Moussaka because it is an authentic greek dish and was soooooo delicious. The prices ranged from 2-5 euros so was very affordable considering other places charged 10 euros + for a vego option. Absolutely loooooved this place and definitely recommend to anyone in Athens. Great customer service as well all the workers I met were super friendly.

Athens apparently loves me. If you're into eating food that is made fresh and taste like pigs weren't harmed...this is the place for you. The choices are great, the salami sandwich is a wonderful choice. The service is inviting and warm. I normally won't leave a review but being that this food is the epitome of living life like a human and not killing animals like savages.

I hope that it will spread (meaning to see franchises appearing like mushrooms ) throughout the city or even better throughout the whole country.
We didn't have something like this before and it was needed!
All their food is very tasty and more important: FRESH!
Big variety of choices, from warm dishes to sandwiches and deserts but fresh juices as well!
In the heart of Athens, with the view of the Acropolis you can enjoy some vegan food in a very reasonable price.
But, I must say that the packages are worrying me. We all (in the vegan community) should be happy to pay a bit more for having a more eco friendly food. PLA is a good replacement of plastic and the paper ones can be from recycled paper. Yes, this kind of change equals to higher prices but as I said, we should be O.K to pay more than to consume with no care for the environment.
Of course I know that they opened just some weeks ago and I also know that they keep improving many details so I am sure this will happen too at some point!
Overall: GO!

I came here because of the good reviews here on HappyCow, but at first sight it didn't look so interesting. I'm glad I tried some food anyways because the quality was SUPER! So flavorful and fresh. I ended up eating 3 different dishes and a desert. Hahaha. Oh yes, the guys running this place are super friendly too, and they give great recommendations. So just ask if you can't decide :))

This new cafe is providing something unique in the centre of Athens. Situated in a tourist hotspot it offers sandwiches, gluten free salads as well as hot food. I was so happy to see moussaka! The desserts were really amazing too. The little cafe has some seats inside and outside, or you could take your cold pressed juice and gyros sandwich to sit in the nearby square.

My family and I were happy with the food selection and quality at vegan nation. I got the lentil salad, and my husband got the vegan chicken with brown rice. He's an omnivore, but was really surprised how good the chicken was. The salad was filling and refreshing after our long walks around the city. We'd definitely go back if we're lucky enough to visit Athens again!

After reading the great reviews about this new place, I had to try it. I must say that I was a little concerned when I arrived and found out that all the food was packaged for a grab-and-go format; I'm used to seeing this kind of setup at airports, train stations, etc., and I don't usually associate it with fresh, tasty food.

Read moreI've come back four more times since my first taste of Vegan Nation, and I continue to be impressed. Their jackfruit sandwiches are amazing, their pastas are hearty and satisfying, and their desserts are on point.
Although I was skeptical of the grab-and-go concept at first, I'm totally on board now. They're located centrally and conveniently in the main downtown area, so it's great to be able to have a quick bite to eat there as you hop between different sites in Athens. Moreover, if you're traveling, you can take something to go. This worked well for me yesterday - I was taking a ferry out of Piraeus around noon, so I stopped by Vegan Nation in the morning to get provisions for my voyage.
All in all, I highly recommend coming to this place. The folks are friendly, the location is convenient, and most of all, the food is fantastic. I'm leaving Athens tomorrow, but I'm hoping to sneak in one last visit before my flight!

It's is VEGAN! Every item here are delicious and the juices are organic! Price is very very reasonable! They pack all their food for take away. Moussaka and spaghetti will be available from 1pm. For breakfast, you will have 2 fridge of items hot pies. We had cheese cake, banana almond milk, chilled avocado soup, chocolate pie, sushi. All of them are very delicious!

I am mostly vegetarian and lactose intolerant, and my fiancée is completely vegan, and we are from the US. We stumbled onto this place walking around the Flea Market nearby. It's a small little place with outdoor seating, but everything is served a la carte and pre-boxed, if you want to walk the city or sit elsewhere.
