Authentic Turkish food

The Lahmacun (Turkish flatbread pizza) is amazing! This reminds me how bad (with very thick bread to hold the content of 96% bread & 4% toppings, they really just want to sell you bread) the flatbread pizza in North America is. This Lahmancun is paper-thin & so flavourable & I can easily eat 10 of these 😋! I also ordered oyster mushroom kebab & they are very generous with the amount of the mushrooms on the plate! Wow! I wish I could take these home to Canada! Very friendly staff & very reasonable price as well. I really enjoyed & appreciated the beautiful food they prepared. Highly recommend!

the best vegan food there is

I loved the lahmacun, the flavors were so good, the spices were mild you wrap them up using tomatoes and onions then lettuce. I was so exited to try this new vegan restaurant, their desserts sütlaç and Kazandibi were extraordinary. I would come eat here every day.

Pros: Everything is vegan

Vegan Restorant

Ben yayla çorbası, lahmacun ve dondurmalı kazandibi denedim. Her şey vegan olmasına rağmen gerçeğinden ayırt edilemeyecek kadar lezzetliydi. 🤩❤️

Yummy

I was desperate for some traditional turkish food made vegan and they check all the boxes. The Ayran, Yoghurtsoup, Lentilsoup and the Sucuk Pide were great, the potato pide needs definitely some Salt but also tasty. Bill was really cheap and Service real good and quick. Toilets also very clean which ist not always the case in Istanbul.

Worth a stop!!

No reviews on it but the mushrooms casserole was undoubtedly the best thing here, some of the best mushrooms I've ever eaten. Not a casserole by american standards but a skillet with roasted mushrooms and tomatoes served with pita. Incredible that the mushrooms could marinade that well. Lahmacun was delicious, yogurt soup was interesting in neither a good or bad way, tzatiki flavor was amazing but extremely watery consistently. We got the mushroom and cheese pide, sadly the cheese was low tier vegan cheese (likely daiya) so it was not very good (the bread was, I would recommend not getting a cheese one).

Pros: Mushroom casserole amazing

Cons: Vegan cheese is poor quality, avoid ordering it

Kazandibi

5 stars for the kazandibi alone. If you've never had kazandibi, don't miss trying it here. They run out of most desserts by the end of the day, so come early.

Vegan Masa is a great place, but the prices have doubled in the past two years compared to the old photo I have of their menu. And now you must have a phone to see the menu. They don't have even one copy of a physical menu anymore, and I had no phone service! Their internet wasn't working for me. I need phone-free dining or something..

The food is great, but the cheese they use doesn't add much. I would recommend the versions of pide without cheese. And the lahmacun, of course.

The staff here is very helpful and friendly! They are great people.

Best vegan lahmacun in Istanbul

Vegan lahmacun will never disappoint you for sure. Made by soy and flavored by local spices. I came here at least once in a month and I don’t think I will ever bored of this restaurant:)

Pros: Tasty, Freshly baked

Not a no

I’m quite surprised by all the 5 stars reviews here 😀 while it was cool to try the vegan version of turkish dishes the food itself didn’t really sweep me off my feet. It was decent, nothing spectacular.

Amazing Place for Vegan Pide & Lamacun

We ordered the plate for two persons, including four different kinds of Pide and a Lamacun, all of them super delicious and authentic!
We also had the Yoghurt Soup and two desserts which were pretty tasty as well.
This is definitely my go-to-restaurant for my next time in Istanbul.

Pros: Very Tasty, Authentic Turkish Food, All Vegan

Turkish food

This is great for trying traditional foods without the need to worry if it’s vegan😄
We had mixed plates to we could try different things. The lahmacun and the içle köfte were great! The cheese pide was my least favorite but anything else was absolutely delicious!

Pros: Fast , Friendly

My boyfriend said this is the best vegan restaurant he's ever been to. He's not vegan so he might not know it all but I agree that this was really great Turkish food and you should definitely come here :-)

Great place to try vegan lahmacun & pida

You'll find this cool little restaurant in the bustling heart of Beşiktas, a little way from the usual tourist hangouts but well worth the visit if you want to try vegan versions of lahmacun and pida.

We shared one standard sized lahmacun and a couple of pida (one topped with mushrooms & cheese and the other with spicy sausage & veggies). Everything was freshly made and totally delicious. We also shared a slice of kazandibi - a caramelised almond milk dessert - for pudding, which was also very good. Throw in a couple of soft drinks & two teas and the bill came to just over ₺600 which is around £15 at today's exchange rate. Great food at a great price!

Pros: Great vegan versions of local cuisine, Excellent value, Friendly & helpful staff

Worth a try

Cute place for vegan pitas and lahmacun. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Did not try the soups or appetizers but a few people came in just for soup so I assume they are as delicious as the pitas I had. Worth a try if in Istanbul.

Pros: Good portions , Affordable , Fast service

Don't think twice!

Don't think twice, find the place and go eat the local Turkish meals as brand new an most probably its better form! As a person who hates Lahmacun, Vegan Masa's lahmacun is the best! I can't even begin the describe how wonderful ther pides are! My favorites Pide with Peynir and Sucuk (Cheese and Pepperoni) you shoul definitely try it and afterwards also try the desserts. Also cacık and ayran can be tried

Pros: Pide with Pepperoni and Cheese, Lahmacun, Sütlaç

Turkish Delicacies, but vegan

The Pide is good, but the Lahmacun is best 👌🏼
