Very, very good izakaya - Edit
Standard and traditional . . . in the best possible way! Refreshingly doesn’t try to be creative and original. It’s all about recreating the classic izakaya experience but 100% vegan. The priority is taste, not health. Highly recommended. #Veganuary

Amazing Izakaya Experience! - Edit
We’re staying near the Tokyo Skytree and imagine my delight at searching for vegan options in the area, and stumbling across the newly opened Vegan Izakaya Nowhere. I really wanted to try the karaage after seeing the menu (and reviews) so we went tonight hoping it wasn’t too busy. They do have an upstairs that can seat at least 13 more people at 3 different tables, so if the main floor looks busy, inquire anyways to see if they can accommodate your group! We tried the karaage, edamame potato salad, gyoza, ham katsu & the daikon. All of it was truly delicious but i kept wanting to eat more of the karaage so that’s an easy win for me! I will definitely be back. If you’re visiting the skytree, definitely do yourself the favour of eating here! #Veganuary

Nice atmosphere - Edit
I saw this show up as “new” and made some last minute changes to my plans so I could check it out right away. It’s a nice little place with a cozy atmosphere and I’m really happy I saw it, even though I didn’t have much time. It’s much more like the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese shop than your typical vegan restaurant.
Read moreThe menu isn’t exactly full of surprises - you can get karaage, two different types of gyoza, tempura, etc. The dishes I had were really good!
Note, there is a table charge. The otooshi was absolutely worth it though. Regretting that I didn’t try to leave and go back in to see if they’d give me another serving.
