Perfect - Edit

It's very cute place with nice atmosphere. I tried "Patato salad" (in Russia it calls Olivie) and it was perfect, I was amazed the taste was like my mother did it. Also we tried very nice deserts and of course excellent craft stout! I recommend to visit this place even you are not a vegan!

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, nice vibe

Cons: no, no, no

Not impressed - Edit

I was excited to visit a 100% vegan cafe, but i was somewhat dissapointed. The idea is great, but the place seems kind of raw & unfinished. I don't think I would go there again.

I ordered a *special burger*, with a beet patty. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything near special, the filling was quite boring, lacked ''inspiration'' & it was overpriced. Chai tasted like warm milk & lacked spices. But the peanutbutter-apple cake was delicious!

Pros: Good location in the old town, Tasty cakes, Vide variety of options

Cons: Overpriced, Dish description is better than it is in real life

Very nice stuff and a delicious Burger - Edit

A really nice cellar restaurant with a nice choice of diffrent meals.
From the starter to the dessert very very very delicious!

Pros: Vegan, Good, Easy to find

Cons: No music

Great ! :) - Edit

We spent a great time for lunch with my non veggie friends. Everything was fresh, delicious and filling.
The location is great, the atmosphere is nice and the waitress was very friendly and a good advisor.
It's really affordable.
Great! :)

Pros: Fresh and tasty food, Friendly staff, Nice place

Cons: The toilets....

Great coffee! - Edit

This is an all-vegan café with a laid-back atmosphere. The menu has very interesting and innovative dishes, but the ideas are better than the execution. This means, the food is just OK. Very good are the cakes and the coffee!

“Vegan Restaurant V” is the better option in Tallinn, but I would also go to Café Inspiration again. Quick service, no reservation required. Also serve breakfast!

Pros: lot's of choice, great coffee, location

Cons: some food lacks "inspiration"

I want to like Inspiratsioon... - Edit

...I really do! But...
At the time of writing this review they have been open for over a year. And yet the staff still look like deer in the headlights, as if the place was opened yesterday and they haven't figured out all the kinks yet.
Last summer we used to go there all the time for veggie burgers - they were well priced and the best in town. The good price vs quality ratio helped disregard all the cons.
Since then Inspiration has raised their prices, dropped their food quality and not improved service at all, which suddenly makes it really difficult to like the place.

Of the three times we have come here recently we were turned away twice because they didn't have a chef or had run out of food. The last time (just like mentioned in previous review) they did not have a lot of the dishes proposed on the menu.

In the meantime the other vegan restaurant in town has to beat people away with a stick because they are so popular and constantly fully booked. So obviously there is huge demand. I hope Inspiration will pick up their game ASAP.

Not inspiring to me. - Edit

We went on a Sarurday, lunch time. I am sure -or I want to believe so- that we went on the wrong day. First thing, we arrived, nobody welcomed or looked at us. After a couple or minutes, we took the menu ourself which was in front of the waiter -who still didnt even have a glance at us. We read it all and decided what we wanted to order, except that the waiter came said: "we have only burgers and pizza". Fine, there were 3 different kind of burgers. We decided again, he came but "No, we only have this burger, and only one left ". So, at that point my boyfriend asked if there was anything else and the waiter pointed 3 other things -which he didn't said before they had. We were already annoyed, why didn't he tell us as we arrived what they did have exactly? And most of all, why didn't he even apologize for not having food? It seemed normal to him.
Our burger and Falafel salad arrived and at least the food was good, not exceptional, but good. Of course they didn't have any dessert left.
While we were there, we saw other clients going through the same (and being annoyed as we were).

As I said before, I hope it was just a wrong day.

Pros: 100% vegan food, Position

Cons: Lack of kindness, They didn't have most of the food

Nice restaurant - Edit

I had a burger here which was pretty tasty. Staff wasnt very friendly/talkative though, there was a bit of a weird atmosphere. I think that Restoran V is nicer, but this place is good for a change!

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: Only 1 shabby English menu

Great interesting healthy food, even my omni family liked it - Edit

Went there for lunch and again for dinner, then with my omnivore family. Very impressed by the interesting choices on the menu! Gooseberry cider was a first for me, and really nice. Great to finally have a vegan Estonian potato salad. Had a funky tea that was coloured blue. Many different desserts too, all really nice: tried the avocado-lime thingy, a brownie cake (which was very rich and more like a chocolate mousse cake) and a raw "cheese"cake. Even my uncle who was initially joking about mowing the lawn for vegan food (i.e. thinking we eat grass) was impressed with the pizza he had :)

Great place! - Edit

I had the Vegan pizza and it was awesome and had a sh'tload of good stuff on it. The staff was very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. The only thing that might be negative for some (hungry) is that the pizza is on the smaller side but it still filled me up:)

Pros: Friendly staff, Great Menu

Cons: Small portions

Awesome spot for vegans!! - Edit

Really nice spot! Great menu, cute cafe style atmosphere, really nice staff and the food is delicious!! A must for any vegan or vegetarian. So glad we found it while traveling in Tallinn!

Pros: Great food - so delicious, Friendly staff, Great location in old town

warm wine, cold food - Edit

Not the nicest atmosphere for dinner. white wine was too warm (and i dont think it was vegan...). They said they only have chilled red wine so we ended up having lukewarm water. The food was very tasty but mine was too cold.

Pros: Tasty food and all vegan. prices are very reasonab

Cons: Too bright lights, slow service, warm wine and col

Excellent, highly recommended - Edit

This place was perfect for having lunch and I was spoiled for choice. Everything on the menu looked good and what I ended up eating was fantastic! The service was good as well, helpful and smiley :)

Love this place! - Edit

We were only in Tallinn for a couple of days, staying in the old town, were very happy to find there were 2 vegan places to eat!
At first difficult to find, due to the small sign, once we went inside it was clear that this cafe was very popular.
It's no wonder having tasted the food, extremely tasty, staff were so friendly and welcoming, and food was reasonably well priced. Definitely felt like more of a daytime place, and we loved it so much that we visited twice!
If I'm ever Tallinn again, I will be heading straight here!

Pros: Atmosphere, Food, Staff

Cons: Slow, No pizza (despite showing on board!)

Good Restaurant - Edit

I went here for lunch during my trip to Tallinn. I ate the burger and it was really good. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to wait a really long time for the food.

Pros: Delicious, Atmosphere

Cons: Slow

The best Vegan restaurant! - Edit

This restaurant exceeded my expectations in so many ways.

When you enter the place, you feel the love in the air. So much detail and love put into the place and I appreciate every single things of their effort.

All the food I tried were stunning and quite filling.

Felt so comfortable being here and ended up returning on the same day (could not think of any other better place!)

This is the first restaurant I am rating 5 :)

Pros: Friendly staffs, Wonderful atmosphere, Delicious food

Cons: Music is a bit too loud

Yummy - Edit

Had the opportunity to eat a dish prepared by chef Toomas, which of course I could not refuse. It was a lovely vegan Lasagne, and it could have been on the menu for years since it was well balanced, very tasty, full of good flavours. A nice fresh salad made the meal complete. Anyone who has a chance to eat at Cafe Inspiratsioon is a lucky person, I believe :)

Pros: Good taste, Friendly cook with good sense of humour, Nice music

Really nice vegan place in Tallinn old town - Edit

Inspiratsioon has a really nice and cozy atmosphere and great location. They have a wide menu and also take special requests if needed. Loved their sweets and their raw cakes, freshly grounded coffee was also great! Really inspiring indeed! ♡

Best vegan cafe in the Old Town. - Edit

Absolutely delighted with this little find. Went there twice on our two day trip!! First time was for breakfast and we had delicious banana pancakes and chickpea 'omelette'. The second time was for a more traditional Estonian dinner of vegan 'blood sausages' and delicious elderflower beer. Staff were really helpful and inquisitive on both occasions and were really keen to help us discover their beautiful city.

Pros: all vegan, friendly staff, delicious food

The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was really delicious. Love it! The service is wondrous, just like everything else-menu, decor of the cafe and atmosphere. I felt myself like home- cozy and well!
Menu is very creative and all the food is delicate! I will go back there as soon as possible! :)
Thanks a lot!

Amazing :3 - Edit

As a not-yet-vegetarian, I got a lot of inspiration to becoming one by eating there. The crew and cafe were so very warm. You could see inspiration in the air - simple interior with just right amount of inspiring notes, good books(to read), and patterns here and there. Very good experience. And of course, the food was amazing and nourished both physically and spiritually.

Worth to try - Edit

There are not many vegan or vegetarian restaurants or cafes in Estonia but this is the one that I really enjoyed. Even though it's not a big place it offers a variety of different delicious appetizers and meals and whether you're a vegetarian or not you will definitely find something to enjoy and something new to experience. And of course in addition to that the service was really warm and friendly. I really enjoyed the visit and will go back for sure. :)

Pros: friendly staff, excellent food, affordable menu

Cons: a little hard to notice from the street

One of the new favorites in Tallinn - Edit

I am positively impressed with the great variety and selection that this cafe has to offer – something for everyone. It's delightful that the prices are not too salty, although the products are definitely unique and special in the Tallinn scene. The daily offers and changing products totally have won me over.

I am still amazed how delicious their raw cake was the last time I visited. And one piece is only €3.50 and just sufficient to be shared by two (I had enjoyed a green smoothie packed with ginger before-hand).

The staff seemed nice, although somehow cold and abrupt when approaching the clients. The interior still needs some touching up, now it seemed that all the chairs were located around the room, leaving an awkward and cold space in the middle of the cafe.

Pros: Inexpensive menu with great variety, Raw cake, Daily specials

Cons: Cold staff, Hidden location

Sorry, not that inspired - Edit

I wanted to give this place a few chances before drawing hasty conclusions. Unfortunately Inspiration didn´t fully deliver. I had a raw cake which was not quite stable, and in fact I saw that other desserts, though probably tasty, didn´t look entirely presentable.
Another day I tried their specialty burger, which was all right, but slightly burned and not that meaty. I´m not saying it should be, it´s just that I often ask myself the question: would this item win over a carnivore? I don´t think that burger would. Fine coleslaw as a side to it.
I also ate the Estonian pie with hummus, which was nothing to write home about, and the other Estonian cake, a sweet one, which was... ok.
But hey, it´s all vegan and staff were friendly.

Not too pricey vegan cafe in Tallinn centre - Edit

Inspiratsioon is located right in the heart of wonderful Tallinn Old Town. The place offers a variety of dishes for both vegans, vegetarians, and even raw food lovers. Besides they serve an excellent quality coffee! The staff is helpful in explaining the ingredients of the food, and is always willing to help you with some special requests. Amazing dishes I've tried and not been disappointed so far: smoothies, vegan cheese plate, falafel wrap, veggie burgers, risotto with vegan cheese etc. This place is definitely one of my favourite vegan places in Tallinn.

Cons: delicious healthy food, raw menu, inexpensive

Really good vegan cafe in Tallinn old town! - Edit

Defnitely one of my favourite cafes in Tallinn! It's cozy, comfortably located in old town and has friendly waiters. And of course the menu - healthy, tasty and full of different surprising dishes. Go and see by yourself!

Pros: Located in old town, Tasty and healthy food

Cafe Inspiration - Edit

I love that it's 100% vegan!

I've been a few times, food is nice, but the other day, we had a little accident and the staff was'nt very good.

We ordered the burgers and our patties got switched, guess it was'nt too bad but then one of our group ordered a yogurt dessert and it was completely salty! We asked to sent it back and turned out, someone in the kitchen misplaced salt as sugar, also the staff was'nt very nice about it.

Pros: Love the DIY options

Cons: Quite small menu, Poor staff

Lovely, cozy cafe - Edit

Me and my girlfriend came here and both chose the vegan beetroot-quinoa-burger - and agreed that it was really good.
The taste was nice and "round" (though for me personally it could have been a bit more spicy), and actually I had the impression that it's a rather healthy burger; the patty was clearly home-made and good.

Afterwards I wanted to try one of the cupcakes, since they just looked too delicious. The cream on top seemed to be almond-based. Really nice and also not expensive! We also tried cookies, but they weren't that good.

The restaurant has a really nice and cozy atmosphere. Also, the waitress was just really really nice and friendly :)

If you're anywhere near Tallinn, you have to check this place out.

Pros: Service, Food, Affordable

Cons: Small cafe, Cookies

Authentic and unpretentious vegan cafe - Edit

We had Estonia pie and hummus as a starter followed by a salad and my partner, a bean burger. Gorgeous and no room for dessert. You can build up your salad through adding extra ingredients and your own dressing. Inexpensive. Excellant service. A great place for lunch and right at the heart of the Old Town.Definetely recommended.

Pros: Nice informal cafe feel.

Cons: Outside seating area is in the shade, No need to book.

A Perfect Lunch in a Perfect Cafe - Edit

A really nice and cosy cafe in the old town of Tallinn. They offer the best veggie burger in the world alongside with a very friendly customer service. More than anything I loved to sip their mango tea on the terrace while enjoying a beautiful and warm afternoon sun. I would recommend that small and friendly cafe not only to every vegetarian but also to everyone else ;)

Just Wonderful - Edit

This is a fantastic little vegetarian cafe/restaurant in Tallinn old city. Fantastic food/meals! Delicious snacks and sweets! And the two owners/managers were lovely, helpful and we had a great discussion about their recipes and ideas. This is a little gem in otherwise meat-happy Tallinn.

Pros: Delicious and healthy meals and sweets, Great Service - lovely owners/managers, Nice location - in Tallinn old city

very good ! - Edit

I had a vegan burger there, it was really good and i loved the beetroot "steak" and the grains bread. I found the salad a bit expensive though and did not really like the home made green tea, but that's just my tastes!

Nice cafe - Edit

This is a pretty nice place to check out during a visit to Tallinn. We sampled a number of burgers and salads, all of which were quite good. The cafe is pretty low key and relaxing, and it's great for a quick snack. The one shortcoming was that the staff would leave the front counter for long periods of time and for no apparent reason, so service can be slow.

Pros: Tasty, Relaxing

Cons: Slow service, limited menu

Inspired :) - Edit

Super friendly staff and super value - beetroot burger was amazingly tasty and even the tap water was energised :) highly recommended

Pros: Yummy food, Super friendly staff, Great value

Cons: May be hard to locate, No decaf coffee :(, It's too far away from Edinburgh :)

Healthy and really delicious eating experience. - Edit

I have never heard that somewhere you can tell exactly what do you want into smoothie and you get it or if you don't say that then they just improvise. Super! Delicious smoothies. :)

There you can be sure that raw materials are clean and food is healthy.

Place is really nice and portions are surprisingly big! My stomach got really full. And it was only avocado salad.

See you again for sure!

Pros: Super smoothies, Healthy, Natural raw materials

Yummy and great location! - Edit

As non-vegetarian I was a little sceptic in the beginning but after tasting their famous vegan-burgers, I absolutely fell in love with this place! The cafe has really positive enrgy (probably because of superfriendly staff) and I have brought many friends and relatives to check this place out! The cafe is not older than ~two months and every time I go back, there are new improvements and it seems that the owner really has put his soul into it! Oh, and usually the portions are really big so I almost always share my salads.

Pros: Big portions, Friendly staff, Cheap prices

Cons: Just opened, still missing some details

A place worth visiting! - Edit

As a non-vegetarian I firstly thought this type of food isn't for me. After having a lunch there it proved me wrong! Vegan food isn't about eating cucumbers and carrots, it's way more than that. This small cafeteria proves it by offering some truly inspirational dishes from salads to wraps and veggie burgers. Simply amazing!
This place is excellent for spending great time and making new friends. Although, it was just opened, it feels like home. Definitely worth visiting for!

A place to stay for longer - Edit

When you first step in, you see a place of minimalism. A good style. But there is something else, a good vibe that is not so easy to find from other cafe´s. The people who are there every day, make it special. It is a rather friendly place where you can leave your worries behind, step in and feel the cozy athmosphere that the owners and workers have putted there. They make you feel special. This is how good they are. And how good they make you feel. About yourself and in your full and warm stomach. Go, eat and love.

Good place for Vegan food - Edit

I almost walked by the Inspiratsion Cafe. It's quite hard to notice it from the outside, it needs more banners.

In the inside I felt very cozy, like at friends house in seconds. Customer service was awesome, giving great tips what to choose. I heard that the vegan burgers are the best, so I ordered one with beet cutlet. Burger and smoothie vere both very tasty, I was quite impressed since I am a big meat friend. I really suggest this place, the offer very good vegan food!

Pros: Very good vegan food, Awesome customer service, Good value

Cons: Hard to notice from the street

Very good, can be developed further - Edit

Food was delicious! The spices they use for their burgers are incredible. Dessert was also brilliant and as a German, I was not used to Estonian food, so it was a new experience.
The people are very friendly and since the location seems to be rather alternative, you feel like you're eating at a friend's house.
It's a pity that you can't really see the café from the outside. Tourists (like me) couldn't really discover it on their own, especially without internet.
Please guys, develop your café further. Get enough supplies for the day, so that you do not run out of dark bread at 4:30 in the afternoon ;-) Make sure that your tables do not shake, that's not cool if you've just opened.
Other than that, I would definitely come more often but it's pretty far from South Germany :-(

Pros: Delicious food, Nice people, Serving sizes are big enough

Cons: Needs to improve organization, You can't discover it without Happy Cow

Cosy, new, friendly - Edit

The staff is very friendly at this new vegetarian cafe. They have a new daily offer for each day but also a wide selection of burgers, wraps, salads, smoothies and some thing sweet for all (no-sugar, no-gluten etc). Great atmosphere, music is very relaxing. Food is fresh and tasty.

They take the vegan-stuff seriously, but more importantly, tastily! Here the traditional Estonian foods are creatively combined with the healthy approach. Good beer and cider as well.
