The lettuce wraps were on the menu and I wanted one but was told they don't do them anymore (they shouldn't have been on the menu then) but a friendly woman is present. The chilli sauce tasted a bit jelly like but still nice. Fast service and great food. More seating please. Also, the menu is huge. 🥰

Read moreTofu fried rice, salt and pepper tofu, "chicken" balls with OK sauce and a side of the garlic veg. That's a great meal for two. Maybe push the boat out with a chow mein or "duck" wraps.
The salt and pepper tofu is sublime. Definitely go for it.

Soy based vegan Chinese. The salt n pepper tofu and chips is amazing. Duck chow mein also dead nice. All of it is good as long as you don’t mind soy bits pretending to be meat. They do vegetable and tofu versions of all the dishes as well

Greasy, oily, nondescript. Maybe I chose badly. Never been a great pretend meat eater, but maybe the pretend meat here is tastier than their tofu, which wouldn't win any awards of note

Vegan House - Edit
Staying locally and decided to get a takeaway from Vegan House. Excellent service, delivery driver came and found me in my campervan and was super friendly. I had the chick’n chow mein and chick’n drumsticks with a plum sauce. Chow mein was good, the drumsticks are breadcrumbed but were very hard and chewy hence I’ve not given a 5* this time. I would happily order again when next in the area.

This is my local vegan spot so I’ve had take out from here several times, even though I’m not a massive Chinese fan. I got hooked on the fake duck pancakes from here for a while, salt and pepper tofu and satay tofu all being my faves. I’ll defo go back to this place, it’s menu is massive and food certainly hits the spot.

This place is incredible! To be able to buy anything is amazing and it was the best Chinese food we’ve had. We had the special combo, 2 types of fried rice, two chow main dishes, chicken balls, vegan special curry and mixed veg. All so delicious and fresh. The two non vegans who ate it really enjoyed it all and will definitely go again. The three vegans were in Heaven!

Wow what a place!! I haven't had Chinese for many years since going veggie then vegan so have wanted to try vegan house out for a while. There was so much choice on the menu it was so hard to pick but everything we had was delicious.

Awesome choice. Wish they did vegan prawn crackers. Quite expensive but all vegan. Not sure how the 'honey and chilli' one is made to be vegan so didn't risk it. Be better if you didn't have to pay extra even just for classic sides. Good portion size though.
