Delicious vegan soul food! - Edit
**Updated Review**
Read moreThey now offer dine-in, to-go, and have expanded their hours, which is amazing! Their location moved to Fairview and is inside of Revolving Kitchen. We recently dined in a few times. It's inside of a food hall with multiple restaurants to order from. You have to order using the kiosk screen or the QR code. We dined in and tried the chopped BBQ rib loaded baked potato and the chopped rasta jerk meatloaf sandwich. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the BBQ rib loaded baked potato. The sandwich was very spicy (which is indicated on the menu). On another visit we went on Sunday for Soul Food Sundays. My friends and I tried the vegan fried chicken, greens, and vegan chicken n waffles. The vegan fried chicken was very crunchy. The crunch was on point! But I was expecting more for the inside of the vegan chicken and to taste something inside. It was mostly just crunchiness. The greens and waffles were delicious! We were a bit disappointed that most of the menu could only be ordered a la cart (except the chicken n waffles). I'm sure this is just the startup pains of a restaurant. Hopefully being able to order full meals without ordering each food item individually will improve over time.
Old review:
Vegan Heat definitely brings the heat! I ordered pick up here in October 2023, and it was delicious. I ordered the Jamaican curry chicken and rice and Jamaican rasta jerk meatloaf. The flavors were so good! My favorite out of the two was the curry chicken and rice.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Make sure you put your order in early on Doordash because they sell out quickly! Their business hours are currently limited. I hope they are able to expand their business hours and days in the future.

Initial Review - Edit
This was my first time trying Vegan Heat. With the hours it’s hard to catch them open and I’m from out of town. But let me tell you….sooooo worth the wait! I got the asian fried chicken meal, Mac and cheese, bbq ribs over a baked potato…baked potato ribs and Mac and cheese was probably my favorite!!! Food was so good I called and had to give her her flowers!!! You would never know the food is vegan which I love! So many people in my family don’t see how I’m vegan but it’s food like this is why!

Flavor Explosion! - Edit
Vegan Heat exceeded my expectations. Every bite was delicious and flavorful. The portions are plentiful and oh-so amazing!
Read moreThe mac n cheese is off-the-charts creamy and tasty! The Chopped Rib BBQ Sandwich is full of flavor and texturally spot on!
If you are in the area, go! If it’s a day or two drive, go!

7/1/23 ~ I wish I could write a review for every time I order and eat from Vegan Heat! This food is OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing! The flavors, so delicious.
Since my original review I have had:
* Crispy Jerk Chicken with the Rasta Pasta ~ it has a heck of a kick. Loved it! And the croissant that came with it, oh my yum!
* Shrimp Sandwich w/blueberry sauce & mac and cheese. Amazingness!
* Brownie ~ Sweet treat! So good!
* And I've had that Chopped Rib BBQ Sandwich several times.

Amazing Vegan Soul Food Experience - Edit
If you want an authentic soul food experience, find Vegan Heat. Chef Rene is incredibly talented. Her food is soul satisfying. My partner and I traveled all the way from North Carolina for her amazing food. We tried the bbq sandwich and mac, rasta pasta and the agave bbq wings. There is none better in the state of Texas. Vegan Heat is a hidden gem that deserved applauding. ❤️ 😍

What's not to love!? If you're all about traditional-style foods made vegan, DON'T SLEEP ON THIS EDIBLE ART! Seriously, Chef Rene knows not only how to cook but how to create! Make sure you follow her IG to stay posted daily about menu changes and other updates. Rene is truly for the people and always makes sure she takes care of us! Please help support because we definitely need her out here! I've yet to try a single thing that lacked in anything, and I'm quite the critic, so I know you will find something you like as well! That hot honey Mac is the ONE tho! Much love y'all and thank you Rene for being you! 🙏🏽

Amazing flavors and textures! - Edit
This soul food had a booth at the Sacramento vegan food festival (2021) and they served mushroom based “ribs” and Mac & cheeze. Both were incredible. I really want to try more of their food!!! I don’t know if it was just at the festival or if the food is always that expensive, but a single serving of ribs and Mac was $23.

Sooooo bomb!!! - Edit
Today we were blessed to have had two amazing dishes from Vegan Heat. It took us a little while
Read moreto figure out the location, and how it works with ordering but we are so glad we did! We had the pork chop entree with grits and potatoes, and the french toast, and both were exceptionally delicious. I believe we spoke to the owner on the phone, and she was super cool. It’s in a nice location (Georgia St) and the girl who took our order was super sweet. Really nice people, great food and great portions. Our family has been vegan for years, and it is very hard to find anything ALL VEGAN in this part of the Bay Area and anywhere at all in Wine Country. We are so happy we found Vegan Heat! We will absolutely be back for some more bomb ass local vegan soul food.
Thank you so much Vegan Heat!!! We appreciate you tons!
Pros: ALL VEGAN , Menu changes daily , Great people, and great homemade vegan soul food

Vegan Soul Food in Vallejo! - Edit
Went for brunch and was NOT DISAPPOINTED. Rene’s food joins the ranks of incredible vegan soul food in the bay. (Don’t miss out on the mini sweet potato waffle!) Some serving sizes are small, but everything is fairly priced. The Vegan Heat team is friendly as can be.
