Great for junkfood - Edit
This place is simple and functional and contains toilets. The owner is friendly.
Read moreWe usually order for delivery and the food usually arrives warm and within reasonable times (it takes more than an hour on Saturdays). However, sometimes they make mistakes, e.g. forgetting items or delivering ice-cream coupe without fruit and sauce.
They have a point collection system via their ordering website and app. When you have sufficient points, you get a discount on your next order.
Foods that we found delicious were Mixed grill, Blue butcher burger (meaty), Moving mountain burger (meaty, a bit ‘raw’), fish burger, crispy chicken burger, falafel burger (a bit like a kroketburger), chicken nuggets, kroketten, bitterballen and kapsalon. The ice-cream coupe with fresh fruit is also great!
Foods that we found quite good were Texas burger (smokey and soy-like), Vegan burger, Beetroot burger and Falafel salad.
The Caesar salad, Feta salad, biryani with ‘chicken’, brownie, apple pie (with whipped cream and vanilla ice-cream) and brownie were decent.
Their smoothies are nice as well: apple/pineapple/banana, red fruit and strawberry/mango. The kiwi/apple smoothie was less good due to the kiwi peel. The carrot, apple and mango juices are decent, but pre-packaged.
The only thing I didn’t like was the chili burger, because it was way too spicy.

Variety is amazing, from Indian to middle eastern and western food. Food taste great as well. Especially loved the cheese. Having a restaurant that’s open late is something I miss after going vegan. This place is it.

My favourite junk food - Edit
I have to admit I wasn’t attracted to this place by the name, but I came here because it happened to be open late. But my god it surprised me good. The menu is extremely extensive with all kinds of differ en junk food, and frankly, all is delicious! From burgers to pizza and fries. There even are a few healthier dishes. I had the fish burger which blew my mind. I can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu.

The place is very simple and not very cosy, but the food was really tasty and the size was more than enough for 1 person. The menu didn’t have the description of the foods but the owner was really friendly. I ordered the kapsalon and the vegan cheese was 10/10. I am planning on going back to try the deserts. #Veganuary

Kapsalon “kip” was niet mijn smaak. (Volgens mij lag het aan de smaak van de kaas), Mijn partner had biryani groente/kip, was héél spicy!.. maar hij vond het lekker. Zelf vond ik het too much. Het brownie toetje met vanille ijs maakte het wel weer goed. Qua bediening kan het beter, wij hebben zelf besteld binnen en je moet even wachten op je eten. Ze boden wel een extra bolletje ijs aan omdat we geen koffie machiato konden krijgen vanwege het koffieapparaat op was en de slagroom. Al met al, ok, maar niet voor herhaling vatbaar voor ons.

Had the Blue butcher burger with a brownie for dessert. Burger was awesome, tastes like meat, plenty of greens and the right amount of sauce on a funky blue bun. The brownie was like a brownie should be, sweet and fudgy with a subtle orange glaze.

Heel lekker gegeten. Porties zijn groot dus je gaat goed gevuld weer naar huis, en de prijzen zijn echt helemaal top (zeker voor hoeveel je krijgt). Er zat wel een beetje weinig mayonaise bij de friet, maar goed. Ook leuk dat er buiten zitplekken zijn! We moesten alleen wel een tikje lang wachten voordat we ons eten kregen, maar ze stonden ook maar met z'n tweeën.

Healthy food, junk food, snacks & hearty meals in one place - Edit
Burgers, salads, soups, pizza, pasta, and of course croquettes... this vegan food bar has it all. So many choices. We ordered the bean salad and vegan kip (chicken) burger. It took a while for them to prepare the food, but what arrived at the table was obviously prepared with care and pride. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was yummy and very reasonably priced. For not being familiar with Almere, it was a little hard to find, but it was definitely worth it.

Deze Vegan Food Bad wordt gerund door een zeer vriendelijke familie. De menukaart heeft een ruime keuze aan Vegan gerechten. De gerechten die wij bestelden werden vers in de keuken bereid. Wij kozen de XL burger en de champignon wrap. Heerlijk!

The chilli burger is actually spicy! Also try the brownie for some really chocolate sweetness.
Good parking garage nearby once you found yourself a way through the maze of Almere...

Fantastic vegan restaurant disguised as a snack bar - Edit
We visited with a group of 6 of which 4 were non-vegans. We all really liked the food, drinks en desserts. The döner Kapsolon (famous Dutch caloric bomb) is somehow converted to a slightly spicy delicacy that everyone should try. I (also) had probably the best vegan pizza ever. The owners made us feel very welcome.

I tried the kapsalon with vegan seasoned chicken and fries. The portions are not to big and definitely not to small, well worth your money. Staff is really friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back and recommend to everyone who visits Almere.

Yummy food! - Edit
I live in Almere for 4 years and only today stumbled here and it was super yummy! We took a burger, a wrap and 2 salads and every bite was worth it! We sat at the restaurant but they also deliver! We will be coming back and back and back.
