what happened? - Edit
this use to be on my top 5 favorite vegan spots in OC. suddenly they got too pricey and every time I ordered the same plate it would come out different.. I don't think I ever got the same pad thai twice, and I'd been eating there for a good 2 years. I like that they would get creative with their dishes but most times I go eat somewhere because i know what I'm getting.
Pros: delicious vegan food, several items to choose from
Cons: expensive, always changing ingredients

Mediocre food, lame service - Edit
The food wasn't so great, could have been much better. One of my noodle dishes was so bland I had to ask them for extra sauce. They didn't have brown or black rice in stock, though on the menu. Worse thing is they bring each order out one at a time, as if they cook them one at a time. So if you're with a group you and you want to eat at the same time out of respect, your dishes will get cold by the time they bring out the last order. I thought they probably had 1 chef on deck, but when I popped my head in to ask for more sauce I saw at least 4 or 5 people back there. Wasn't the first time my family's gone and they were slow like that. Why??
Cons: Bland, untasty food, Ridiculously slow service

Decent - Edit
This place has as amazing selection of spring rolls, each one is delicious. And they're smoothies/juices are pretty great as well. The service is also very friendly. My one complaint is that the entres are nothing to rave about and are usually just covered in cooked veggies. I'm sure a lot of people would like that but it's just not my thing. But I would definitely recommend trying this place for yourself!
Pros: Yummy appetizers, cheap
Cons: not so yummy entres

Awesome Soups but Mediocre Food - Edit
Please try the soups all of them are amazing! I'm not a fan of their food because whatever meat alternatives they are using are not working for them unfortunately.
Pros: cheap, never busy, friendly service

Nice place to meetup.com - Edit
Great place to come once and a while the only thing healthy is the fruit. The food is good for starter vegetarian/vegan I'm used to diff flavors. Came to hear Dr. Malek speak about vegan wellness and enjoy a vegan buffet All part of the meetup.com group Animal Protection and Rescue League APRL. The owner is fantastic so compassionate.

Surprises Around Every Corner! - Edit
You won't get what you order. Not open on time. No english. Slow.
Chicken tastes almost too real, with all the fat in the skin etc.
Pros: Real Chicken Flavor
Cons: Terrible Service

Be very Careful - Edit
The Hostess, who may very well be the owner/manager, was extremely friendly and helpful. She will make you feel like family. She advised me of several items. I had the Purple rice with her special Vietnamese fruit, which she said she grows in her back yard, and the Orange Chicken. Both were good but not great. I also ordered a mixed berry smoothie. I later found out that it included pineapple, which is OK by me but certainly not a berry.
Now for the disaster. The waitress who made the smoothie, used frozen fruit that had been wrapped in thin plastic - similar to Saran Wrap. When she pulled the fruit from the plastic wrap, she took pieces of the plastic wrap (lots of it) with the fruit and put it in the blender. I was drinking through a very thick straw and was trying to drink, but I noticed that I had pieces of something that I had to chew but couldn't. At first I thought it was pieces of skin from some fruit.
I finally put my glasses on and took a close look. When I saw what I had been chewing and probably swallowing, I told the hostess. That's when she discovered and explained what happened. Then she told the waitress to be more careful in the future. They both apologized profusely.
That's still unacceptable. In the first place, fruit should not be wrapped in that type of plastic for freezing. In the second place, it shows a great lack of concern for food preparation that both the owner and the waitress would allow this sort of thing to happen.
