So much variety on their menu it was hard to decide! The portions were big (we could have shared one item for lunch)! We stopped by on a drive, I would come back anytime I was in the area!

I tried the Authentic Yeero, the Taste of Ethiopia with Injera, and the spanakopita. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. Service was fast and friendly. I'm looking forward to returning to try some other dishes.

Mac n cheese w/ "meatballs" was really good, tho I wouldn't call the chunks meatballs. Not a ground-meat texture, more of a brisket-y texture maybe? But very good. I was afraid at first bc I saw pepper flakes on it but it wasn't too spicy for me at all (I can't eat anything spicier than water).

I feel like maybe we should have stuck to the Greek specialties but I haven’t had Ethiopian in 20 years so I tried that. It was a lot of food! Husband ordered the pizza- also quite big but more like a tortilla than pizza crust and too much vegan cheese. I would like to come back and try a yeero if I’m ever back in the area.

On a road trip home with my family we stopped here and I’m so happy we did! Everything on the menu that we had was incredible. We got the Ethiopian plate, mac and cheese, brisket mac can cheese wrap, spanakopita, samosas with baklava and cake pops as dessert. I really wish I lived near here because I would go once a week. The gentlemen working couldn’t be any nicer and knowledgeable. I highly suggest coming here, you will not be disappointed!

I am so happy I stumbled upon this place on my travels. The Ethiopian platter with gf injera was yummy. So was the broccoli Mac n cheez.
Read moreAfter reading the reviews, I decided to also order sides of falafel w/corn tortillas, Italian potato salad, and the stuffed grapevine leaves.
Disappointed that the stuffed grapevine leaves were canned after reading other reviews that everything is made from scratch. I wouldn’t have ordered the stuffed grapevine leaves had I known this in advance as I’m Greek.
The falafel were yummy crunchy, crispy and I ordered with gf tortillas. The tzatziki was good too.
The Italian potato salad had a lot of positive reviews, but I was disappointed when it came to the table. It was doused in Italian dressing and had too many onions. I ended up pouring off all the dressing and taking the onions off. I find them overpowering, and I want to be able to taste the food, not be tasting onions with every bite. I would suggest if you order this to have them leave the onions on the side as well as the dressing and that way you could dress it the way you want to I found that potato salad good without all the dressing. 
Pros: Varied menu, Delicious Ethiopian platter, Great service

1 OF THE BEST VEGAN PLACES IN THE US! - Edit
I just had my first meal here and I feel like I've been missing out!!! I had the wrap and the potato salad. I HAD 2 PLUS MEALS FOR $14!!! The wrap was the size of my forearm and half my hand!!! The food was exceptional. I've had vegan food for decades, in a variety of states... and this is some of the best I've ever had! The potato salad taste like heaven and I mean that honestly. The amount of onions they use is right up my alley. The wrap that is used is soooooo good. I'm gonna try to order just that with their house made sauces next time for an appetizer😉😉 I wish I lived closer because I'd be here a lot more often. I can't wait until the beginning of March when I'm back in town again!!! Thank you for having some of the best vegan food in the US💚💚

My friend and I checked this place on our way back to Raleigh. I was excited since the whole place is vegan. Sadly, they don't have many gluten free options though.
Read moreI was told the Taste of Ethiopia and the Falafel were my only options, so that's what I got. My friend tried the Yeero and a side of fries. The dishes were all large portions and good flavor profiles.
The service was very friendly, helpful and accommodate, as much as they could be with my gluten free dietary restriction.
While I'm happy that I finally got to check this place out, the lack of any other gluten free options makes it difficult for me to say I'll be back though.

The shop is kind of a hole in the wall, but WOW the food is amazing. We got the munchy box and omg 🔥😍 the servings are huge, definitely get the “meatball” as the flavor and texture are unreal. Seitan can have an odd texture and after taste sometimes but not the seitan here.

Fantastic Food Clearly Made and Shared with Love - Edit
I had read reviews over the past year and finally made the hour trip to VCK since planning to go to Costco. So excited to discover this gem. We have now been several times, even attending the amazing holiday event in December. EVERYTHING my husband and I have ordered has been exceptionally delicious. The “meat” is THE best we’ve ever had and the veggies are so fresh. The owners are stellar people, always warm, welcoming and friendly, even when it’s so busy!

Tiru, the new owner of seven months, has taken over the reigns after the sister of the founder back in Fatih, retired and has added her own Ethiopian menu items. Everything was fresh, light and delicious and I am so grateful to find this restaurant open and thriving!
Sadly, the new owner is not vegan, so I must remove one star for being run by a willful animal abuser. She asked if I was vegan, so I asked in response and she told me, "I love fish." This greatly deleted from my digestive and dining experience unfortunately.
To love non human animals is to protect them from murderers, not hand them money to perpetrate more crimes. Hopefully, she finds the guidance she requires to make some space in her heart for those born with less power than herself, aquatic or otherwise.
