Great tiny vegan take-away - Edit
Small 100% vegan take-away (with 4 stools and 2 small shelf-tables for indoor seating and consumption) with plenty of choice, all super tasty and personalizable. The owner is very friendly, experienced long-time vegan. 'Koala' is simply a must stop in Pisa for vegans and other plant-food fans.

Very small completely vegan cafe , loads of options - we had wraps which were absolutely delicious. You are given lots of options of types of bread / wraps, spreads such as hummus or mustard, veggies, salads etc. A very friendly and pleasant owner. Very small, only room inside for 2 to sit on high stools so better to take out. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend this place.

100% vegan lunch spot - Edit
Lovely staff member (owner?), lots of vegan lunch options and snacks to buy.

The menu is huge for such a small place, probably making it a bit more effort than necessary for the solo staff member.
When we went there were 4 people sitting in (the max), 2 of us and 2 others in the queue. They ended up leaving, I guess because they were in a rush. Not a particularly quick lunch option but great if you have the time.
Pros: Lots of vegan options for lunch, Friendly service
Cons: Not much seating, A little bit of a slower pace lunch option

Amazing food and lovely owner - Edit
I loved this little spot. Went here twice on my holiday. First day I got a kebab flatbread with seitan, which was amazing!! On the second visit, I had a lasagne special, which was so good too. It was a lovely little lunch spot!

It was nice to see this full vegan shop in Pisa, however it turned out to be as good as something I could have done myself with the same ingredients.

Two days spent in Pisa meant two lunches at this place 😋 there are some really great vegan options, and who I assume was the owner was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was expecting this to be a sit-down eatery, but it is more like a hot food counter to take food to-go (there are 3/4 stools inside, but it is cramped). I was also expecting everything to be made on-site, but the owner advised me he was waiting on a gnocchi/lasagne delivery after I asked for these. It is not a problem, I think I just had the wrong idea of the establishment. You can also buy vegan goods in here, such as protein bars, biscuits, cheezes and mock meat items. Very handy location close to the tower.

Also a lot of fresh vegetables and a really food chickpea cheese!

Nice variety of vegan food like Hotdogs, Burgers, Couscous…. In really interesting combinations. I guess you could eat here 10 times and never eat the same thing as everything sounds good. We had couscous and a hotdog, both were tasty and affordable.

Had a sandwich with a tofu and pumpkin burger and salad and hot sauce. Was delicious and the owner was incredibly friendly and spoke perfect English which always helps as a tourist. Most of the ingredients are not made fresh but this means they have a wide variety of options and are quick to make your meal.
