Had the sauerkraut burger with grilled peppers and an order of fries with truffle oil. I don’t understand how this spot has 5 stars let alone more than 4. I’m a fairly seasoned plant based eater of 4-5 years. There was nothing special this place did that literally anyone else couldn’t do unless they didn’t know how to cook. Traditional golden fries are my least favorite variety. Even with truffle oil I didn’t finish them or have the desire to. Plenty of other better options in sfla for comfort foods.

A little pricey for what it is - Edit
First off, why the description above says “restaurant” instead of food truck I don’t know, made it a little confusing to find. Was looking for a building but luckily found the food truck. Food was good but $14 for a beyond burger is a little ridiculous. Could’ve at least done impossible burgers for that price. Also, the food wasn’t really as German centric as I was hoping from the name and description, is basically just a place that serves beyond products and has sauerkraut. We weren’t expecting a food truck and it was very windy so that wasn’t great since we weren’t expecting to have to sit outside. Also they were out of napkins so I had to wipe my sticky hand on my brother’s swimming trunks so that was a minor inconvenience for me. Overall, not worth making a non vegan drive 20 minutes out of the way for what was just okay.

What a GREAT little place! - Edit
We were on an overnight trip and didn’t know what to expect. It’s a parked food truck. The staff was friendly and helpful even though he was obviously busy. We got the two burgers special and fries. It was delicious! Highly recommend.

It's a food truck on the left side of the building of the address, the stuffs are quite friendly and I called 4 timea to locate the truck and they answered each time and tried to help me out,We had 2 burger deal, the food was great, out, a big fries , but the pictures of foods I saw before going there weren't in the menu, no nachos or sandwiches or hotdogs, all are burgers, also got 2 ginger sodas they're ok, and cinnamon crunch as dessert, it was super sugary, we couldn't eat it, overall the burgers were good ,

Plantain burger with mayo and cheese is my favorite on the list of burgers here, but the mushroom bbq is a close second! Super nice location a block from the beach and all the staff are great and make some awesome vegan food! Nice reasonable prices for being vegan and by the beach. The bratwurst is also really tasty! And if you like sweets they have delicious cinnamon crisps! Definitely recommend checking out Vegan Bruder if you live in or are passing through Ft L.

I came for a weekend from Ann Arbor and have been vegan my whole life so was super excited to find this spot to try the bratwurst here after hearing so many good things about this place online! Chris was super friendly and made me such an amazing beyond bratwurst exactly the way i wanted! The cinnamon sugar crisps were delicious too! Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting and looking to eat some delicious vegan food!!

White male young male took my order 730-745pm this windy night. My order total $51.32. We watched every move he did for cleanliness during this pandemic 📢... never did he wash his hands while preparing food, touched his personal belongings like phone, book bag as he gets ready to leave his shift... tells the next staff a young woman who's order he had started to make was in progress. She comes in puts her things down, scratches her nose twice, puts her hair behind her ears, grabs her gloves and starts to finish up with what he started (white male). I get out of my car and said to the young male that originally took my order..." I would like to cancel my order, because she did not wash her hands first and neither did you". He replies " she just got here and put her gloves on" (says this with an attitude like he is pissed off at working here or just not a welcoming person attitude) so I said " that's tru but your suppose to wash hands first than gloves goes on next, we just sat and watched this whole time you both trying to fix our food, I need to cancel this order now! He says" well take that up with her because I'm leaving (again with an attitude towards me he replies) so my spouse comes up and the young white male goes on his way, and the women cancels our order and we left. We will never come back. Sucks that we read good reviews coming all the way from West Palm Beach, Fl. And just to try this place out. It's very much important to hire people who will represent your small business professionally as you would as the owner and practice CLEANLINESS. Star ratings is a 0-1

this was my first time eating at vegan bruders i ordered a mushroom BBQ burger with sweet plantains and fries and to be honest it was so delicious a friend reccomended this place and it was so worth going to, hands down 10/10 best vegan spot I've been to in a while. I have my eye out for there sweet plantain burger since i tried there plantains next time i go.

The cheese burger and fried plantains were better than I thought. I couldn’t tell a difference in taste between this vegan cheese burger and and my favorite non-vegan cheese burger from In-N-Out. It was juicy and supple. Although I did take out, the restaurant was incredibly clean when I came in and all the staff were wearing masks for the safest of others. Next time I might try their outdoor seating to assess any of their waiter’s customer service. Overall, I’d choose this restaurant again for my next vegan craving.
