I recently stumbled upon Vegan Bistro during my stay at a nearby hotel. The atmosphere was somewhat dull, but the restaurant seemed to put effort into creating a pleasant environment. I ordered two starters that were decent, though not exceptional. The main dish was also just alright, not particularly amazing. However, I must commend them on using fresh ingredients and serving healthy food. While it didn't completely blow me away, I had a good experience overall, and I would recommend giving it a try for yourself.

Vegan Bistró reopened this season with a fully new staff (person in charge, service and kitchen) and you can taste the improvement.
Read moreMy highlight was the very spongy cinnamon roll with kind of a liquid frosting. Also the watermelon gazpacho was delicious and fresh. The predominant taste of the tempura unfortunately was the batter and one couldn’t really tell that it’s zucchini or aubergine. Also it doesn’t combine well with the sour cream in my opinion, which however tasted great on its own.
The mushroom risotto had a nice mild taste of truffle, but wasn’t creamy and rather just rice. Last, the cheesecake was also nothing outstanding.
The presentation of each dish was very beautiful and for me it’s also a plus that the kitchen doesn’t close between lunch and dinner.
Paloma, the waitress did a great job, she was kind and professional.
Overall, I think that with respect to prices and positioning the dishes lack the necessary refinement.

No longer closed. The food is good and the service is great too. The pad Thai was way too salty and I was a bit concerned because they did a Bloody Mary with Worcester sauce (not vegan) and an espresso martini with Kahlua (not vegan). Also, atmosphere is very bright for a bistro…However, we had a really nice experience and it was very good value it came to €100 for 3 courses and 2 cocktails for me and my friend. Starter was lovely and gazpacho was too (given for free) and we were given almond baileys for free at the end.

Vegan Bistro a must visit - Edit
We busted VB fairly regularly during our weeks stay for breakfast mainly and once for dinner. Unfortunately they changed the dinner menu right before we went so we missed out on the lasagne we wanted to try. Only thing stopping it being 5/5 is a somewhat limited menu, cocktails being quite expensive and the ‘sweet and sour tofu and rice’ I had (although by description in fairness) was literally tofu and rice. Would have been nice to have some veg with it for the price?

A vegan must-visit when in Palma - Edit
Gourmet vegan cuisine at it best. A simple and down to earth menu with quality ingredients talking for itself. Had the Risotto with portabello mushroom and black truffle, Pad Thai and a brownie with pistachio ice cream and it was a pleasure for our taste buds.

We loved this bistro so much that we ate 3 meals here. The staff is awesome. Very personable and fun to chat with. The food is delicious and large portions for very reasonable prices. We had 3 entrees, two beers and it came with an appetizer for 66 Euro. Totally recommended! Brunch was also great. Tofu scramble on avo toast was delish. We also had the chickpea tuna sammie which is on fabulous bread and they gave us two champagnes complimentary!

Best vegan food in Palma! - Edit
Wow! We came here for an evening meal and ordered the vegan Cheese board and Ethan Burger which were both fantastic! We also got a complimentary aperitif and vegan baileys shots. After eating around vegan restaurants the past week in palma this was by far our favourite. The woman who served was extremely friendly and even gave us recommendations of her favourite vegan food places in palma. Would defo reccomend

We enjoyed our meal here and the staff were absolutely lovely. Great service. The stuffed sweet potato is absolutely gorgeous (4/5) and the vegan lasagne was a bit too meaty for our taste (3/5) but definitely worth a visit, we would just order differently again.

We had a yoghurt bowl with fruit and granola and a toast with avocado and scrambled tofu. Both tasted really good. Also the smoothie and cakes are delicious. Would love to come back for dinner next time.
