I loove loove all the variety of goodies, the bread is amazing! Sweets are also lovely, sometimes a bit too sugary/sweet but that might be my personal preference. Overall a blessing for Aberdeen!

This is the absolute best thing that's happened to Aberdeen on a culinary level for vegans and non-vegans alike. Vegan Bay Baker brings delicious but also very well priced pastries, pies, rolls and coffee to the city.

Yummy tarts & Scrummy biscuits - Edit
I’ve tried a few of their baked goods and all are delicious. My favourites so far are apple tart and viennese swirl. They are so lovely buttery and light. Some other items are nice too but personally I feel some are a tad too sweet. I’m looking forward to to try some of their gluten-free items too. Also, cheerful and friendly people and very attractive prices! Will definitely be back. 😊

One of the best vegan bakery I know. There’s so much to choose from and I feel like the variety changes very often. The price is definitely worth the quality. The one aspect I don’t like, is the pushy staff. I always feel rushed when I’m just looking to figure out what I want. But when you’ve got anquestion, they’re very happy to help.

If I lived in Aberdeen I’d be here every day. It’s probably just as well that I don’t 🤣 We had a macaroni cheese pie, leek and potato pie, Viennese whirl, almond croissant, butteries, and also bought a whole Battenberg. Basically, we really went for it. It was all delicious. Prices were fab too. I think back on that day with fond memories. it really was superb 👌🏼

We’ve been to the Aberdeen shop 3 times now and every time we come away even more impressed! We bought a heavy bag of goodies today including an olive focaccia, butteries, cheese and onion pies (delicious!), a croissant, a cheese scone, a cream bun and a yum yum - less than £17 for the lot! We get the yum yum every time as it’s so fine.

Best butteries in town - Edit
I tried a selection of their pies (sweet potato & lentil, leek and potato, macaroni) all delicious. Their butteries ( an Aberdeen speciality) are the best I’ve tasted. Also loved the vegan BLT sandwich. Oh, not forgetting their Danishes. I still have to try their oatcakes, breads, and other cakes. A must for vegans in Aberdeen.

We bumped into the Vegan Bay Baker today and were surprised by the huge selection of wonderful cakes, bread, sweets and pies. Went home with three bags filled with donuts, butteries (!), croissants and bread. Will be back!
