I really liked the way food is served... Sort of pancake with all kind of veggies/curries at a plate for 1 or 2 or etc. persons. Just sit back and relax.

Respect to the owner and his family. They bring a very good vibe because of their kindness.
You must try the special beers... Very tastfull. it is brewed by the owner, ask him to explain..
Don't forget to buy one extra to take back home ..

The restaurant had a really laid back vibe and was really cozy. A young and kind lady took our order. The fun thing was that you actually don’t have lots of options to choose of. If there are a few options I automatically trust that the cooks will put a lot of effort in it. And I was really happy about the taste! We had a lentil soup as starter which was nice. As main you could only choose the injera. The injera was great and tasted just as I used to have from an old Ethiopian lady. I didn’t had room for a dessert anymore. So I will be back soon :)

Had dinner here now 2 times. Love this place, food is very tasty. Owner produces traditional beers with fruit flavour. Service was great both times. Looking forward to coming back.

Super tasty food and everything 100% Vegan. The owner is very sweet and works hard. He is in the service as well as in the kitchen. Highly recommended! We also had a nice chat about our trip to Africa next year.

Hier wordt met passie gekookt. Vooraf een linzen soep, pittig maar niet te. Een blad vol met allemaal verschillende gerechten. Allemaal heel erg lekker. Nagerecht, vegan ijs met vruchten. Er is ook zelfgebrouwen bier, 4 smaken. Eigenaar/kok is heel aardig!

A small restaurant in a shopping street. You can easily overlook it. The food is really nice. The host very friendly. We ordered the vegan combi, which are all the different dishes served on a giant injera pancake.. Those are all excellent and medium spicy.. The coffee is a treat.. The beans are roasted in the restaurant.. The beer and liquor are also made by the owner. A gem here in Gouda.

Read moreThe peanut soup is the best I have ever had. As a main we ordered the vegan combi which is a great choice as you can taste a bit of everything. Well, a bit? It's quite a lot. There are no desserts (yet) on the menu. Owner told us they didn't sell enough and in the end they went to waste which is a shame. Anyway, after the soup and injira there was no space left in my stomach for dessert 😉.
