I've watched some rave reviews on YT about this place so naturally was very keen to try it... The selection is great but the food quality was really bad IMO The quiche was dry, veggies inside massively undercooked/raw (butternut squash etc), lacking any flavour... didn't it was possible to get so many things wrong in one dish. We tried this place for dessert after eating at Meatless District. We had a cookie dough cupcake and strawberry cheesecake. Both were very nice but not mind blowing. The prices were fair though. The shop had a lot of interesting finds and the service was friendly!

I always go to Vegabond to buy local and international vegan food stuff! I'm from Norway, and the selection of vegan options is kinda boring compared to Amsterdam, and thus I'm in heaven at this store 😍 The food is good, but wouldn't personally go to eat here, but grab a coffee, a croissant and shop ✨

We’ve been coming here for some special vegan groceries. Today we had lunch here for the first time. It felt a bit strange to eat while looking at the fridge and freezer. The quiche however was great. We also enjoyed the tofu roll, the cinnamon roll, chocolate pie and muffin. (This time the cinnamon roll was fresh and juicy.)

Why wouldn't you want to have a delicious coffee and pastry while buying some vegan products for your meal at home that evening? Great spot lots of options from vegan soap to vegan cheese alongside a nice coffee and a series of salads.

We stop by for a coffee and some desert here. It was late so they wer not serving coffee anymore so we got some tea.

They offer several gluten-free treats clearly labed, they only issue was choosing only one thing!
We end up getting extra things on the go for trying at home.
Aside for the pastry side, they also sell a wide variety of vegan products like vegan cheeses, teas, meat substitutes...
Also, they have a savory shop window from which we got a really tasty gluten-free pumpkin quiche.
They guy that attended to us was super nice, polite and try to help us choosing. He also gifted us some croissants when we pay since it was the closing time.
Pros: Many options both sweet and savory , Perfectly labed gluten-free options, Super cute and chill atmosphere

Vegabond is a combination of a store and a deli/restaurant. Perfect place for vegan goodies, but also nice to have a (hot) drink, something sweet or a savory lunch. If you order something for take away, they use cute carton boxes.

This place was so great I went twice on a short trip to Amsterdam. They even have a little vegan grocery in there as well. I had a very yummy piece of apple caramel cake while I was there. Highly recommend the Dutch sausage roll! Service was delightful!

Went here for a cup of coffee with friends, ended up trying the croissants and a meal. The croissants tasted a bit like donuts, but still good. For the meal I had a mixture of rice with sweet potato, which was delicious. I would've liked a bigger portion size, though. I also had to try the cinnamon rolls, of course, which very so good! They weren't too sweet, which I was happy with. Definitely recommend this place

I’d def go back here. I ordered a butternut squash tofu quiche with a delicious gf crust, and some sort of Caesar salad bite with a lettuce ball creatively shaped to feature the dressing on top. Both were excellent. I also got a tofu sausage filled danish—the sausage was good but the pastry was excellent, so soft and buttery. They had several nice gluten free dishes and a few pastries (not the danish). Plus it was fun to pick up vegan specialty items from the grocery side after. The meal was pricier than I was expecting for a deli counter, but all the food surpassed my expectations in flavor, design, and creativity.
