Honestly this was just such a wonderful place to eat. Everything was cooked fresh and we even bought two jars of homemade chutney. Definitely recommend visiting!

So surprised to find such a great cafe in a small Cornish town. Lots of choice and very reasonably priced. Homemade jars of preserves, chutney’s etc. You have to visit to see what other great things the owner sells, mostly for charity. Talking too much, forgot photos!

Lovely little cafe. Nice home cooked food, and a friendly owner. Seems to be the only 100% vegan place for some miles. Glad to support them.

A lovely homely dining experience - Edit
Large menu of varied and wholesome meals. Everything cooked on site using Edwina’s (the owner) own tried and tested recipes. Can especially recommend the mayonnaise and the elderflower cordial. A nice extra touch is that there’s no food waste (as leftovers are fed to Edwina’s rescue pigs).

Very mediocre at best - Edit
I feel bad leaving such a low score but this was one of the worst and most basic meals in a long while. It’s not often that I come by smthg so low on quality (ingredients as much as the whole dish) and taste. We had budha bowl which was just some veg and humus with only lemon juice, no idea why it was called budha bowl and not a side salad and bean chilli and peanut butter cheesecake. Chilli was ok, cake was good but honestly nothing impressive. The lady who served us had an attitude, like she couldn’t wait to have her working day over. Worst vegan cafe we’ve been to, shame!

oh dear, what a dreadful experience you must have had! Sadly, I cannot be in every day so I don't know who served you. I welcome constructive criticism, but that is lacking in your review. It would be helpful, for example, to know if the 'server' explained what was in the small Buddha bowl salad and what she said to you that was so rude as to illicit such a nasty, negative review! Perhaps you could elaborate.

Hi, I’m never up for negative reviews and in general in life I always look for a bright side to things but unfortunately there wasn’t one on this occasion. We were not told what will be in budha bowl, but it was just some basic salad stuff, some cold pasta, wine leave rolls, lemon squirted on top and hummus, really basic and lacking of flavour. The attitude of the server and the way she put plates on the corner of the table was speaking more than words, like she didn’t want to be there herself. I’m sorry we had a bad experience in your cafe, but i can’t recall such a bad eating out in a long while. I’m sure you keep all in control when you are present yourself.

Lovely whole food vibes old school vegan cafe! - Edit
We had a salad wrap and the lentil & chickpea curry, both were lovely! Only £15 for both ☺️ nice and relaxed vibes slightly away from the busy tourist vibes of central tintagel.

We had the nachos, falafel & lasagne and they were all very tasty. Cafe is reminiscent of old school punk cafes complete with affordable art & animal right slogans on the walls. Loved it💖

A little gem - Edit
We stopped off in Tintagel on a hike of the South West Coastal Path. We thought the best we could hope for food wise was probably a vegan pasty. Imagine our surprise at finding a fully vegan restaurant!
Read moreThe food was delicious and very clearly home cooked. We both had lasagne which was fully of lentil goodness and came with a generous side salad.
The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. We actually arrived five minutes before closing time but made to feel entirely welcome and never rushed.
We’ll definitely be back - next time with time to spare.

Tasty, big portions and reasonable prices. Great find. The mac cheese and garlic bread was particularly amazing. Also the cheesecake was possibly the best vegan cheesecake I've ever had. All homemade too.

Food was lovely, plentiful and very clearly fresh (both in ingredients and presentation). There was such a great selection for such a small establishment, and for one person to prepare whilst also running front of house.
Can't wait to return ❤️

We’ve popped in for a chickpea curry and onion bahjis. The food was amazingly delicious. The portions are big so be aware. Oh and the elderflower fizz is to die for. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating as I have multiple food allergies which doesn’t make eating out an easy task. Highly recommend
