Small café with a great selection of dishes and the option to get a small or large portion for the mains. We went for lentil bolognese and the Stir Fry Bowl, which we‘re both great. The two cakes of the day were nice as well.

Very friendly welcome, colourful artwork everywhere and a strong animal welfare vibe 🐶🙏 Great choice of food and drinks. We chose a blackcurrant kombucha and earl grey tea. 💜 Then gladly a small coconut and chickpea curry as it was a very generous portion but very delicious, also a falafel and salad bowl with so many ingredients, also very, very good 💚 There is also a shop next door with many very interesting items for sale, bought a beautiful Indian painted mirror and some vintage jewellery, jam, peanut butter and some friendship bracelets ❤️💚

Excellent service and amazing food at this incredible vegan spot! My family went for lunch for Father's day and we were so pleased with the quality of the meal & friendliness of the staff that we booked for later in the week whilst there! They do have two different menus depending on the day of the week; on Sunday our party chose the lentil bolognaise and the soul bowl and both were exquisite! Later in the week, we chose the mac & cheese (with garlic bread) and the mezze bowls and they were both simply heavenly! Another amazing aspect of Vega is they have items available to buy in their restaurant & shop next door. We ended up buying a jar of their homemade golden sauerkraut and of their peanut butter. Also purchased were two hanging decorations, a handmade banner, mini table & handknitted cardigan! Would absolutely recommend to anyone you know, and will always return back as the vibes were totally amazing!

I love bringing my friends & family here whenever we're headed to Trebarwith or Boscastle as, even when they're not vegan, they're all big fans of the delicious food here. Read moreThe food here is always outstanding, with lots of choice. and so many flavours. Everything is cooked fresh, and the deserts are great too. It's very reasonably priced, and a donation is made to animal welfare charities from the profits. There is also a great selection of home made produce in jars to take away.
We love this place, it's so unusual to find an eatery that does great food, at a good price and for the owner to walk the talk in terms of ethics.
If you are nearby one day, go and have a meal, you won't regret it.....

Vega Tintangel! (In an Elvis style) - Edit
A very short walk from where we were staying and a very welcome change from the one vegan choice that the pubs and cafes were offering. Very welcoming and lots to look out in the way of famous vegan quotes on posters and some colourful artwork. The menu was an easy to read chalkboard on the wall and offered several choices. We went for homemade hummus and pitta bread for a starter and then the Soul Bowl for mains. We had Turmeric lattes with oat milk and a fermented pineapple drink. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. We saw several other dishes come out from the kitchen and everything looked amazing. The place was fully booked and it’s definitely worth ringing ahead to make sure you get a table. The food is extremely well priced and part of the money is donated to animal charities. If you are anywhere near Tintangel I totally recommend this place for a perfect lunch or dinner.

On our way to Tintagel Castle, we spotted this place and a quick scan of HappyCow confirmed it was vegan with 5* reviews so we were pleased to get a table. We ordered a fermented pineapple drink which was nice and a hot chocolate which just tasted like cocoa powder mixed in hot water and wasn't very pleasant. For mains we opted for a sweet and sour bowl and a quinoa bowl and sadly were left quite disappointed by both. The ingredients used just didn't taste very good quality and personally we found them both lacking any depth of flavour - expensive for what they were. We also didn't find the service particularly welcoming. We really love to support any vegan establishment and wish them all the best with it, but unfortunately on this occasion we didn't have a great experience - maybe they were having an off day judging by other reviews on here?!

We stepped out of the bus and there it was Vega - the only vegan place in hundreds of miles . We found it by chance and were so lucky. Edwina offers delicious food that also is really filling . I love the activism for animals that is visible via flyers and printed citations on the wall. This place is full of love and respect for the animals . Make sure to reserve as there are not many tables available and the restaurant is very popular. We were lucky to get a table by messaging via Facebook . A full 5 star recommendation .

A lovely homely dining experience - Edit
Large menu of varied and wholesome meals. Everything cooked on site using Edwina’s (the owner) own tried and tested recipes. Can especially recommend the mayonnaise and the elderflower cordial. A nice extra touch is that there’s no food waste (as leftovers are fed to Edwina’s rescue pigs).
