This might be the most reviewed vegan restaurant in Madrid, its rated almost 5 stars. I agree with this rating. This place has an awesome menu del dia option, very cheap one. Healthy food, unique combinations, they are very similar to La encomienda, and i have to say that enjoyed more my times in La encomienda, i found it more tasty. But they are very alike, they even share the owners. I have to say that the staff was extremely nice. The only bad thing is that is always sooo full, so be there early or be ready to wait a little while since they no longer accept reservations

I really liked the dinning experience in Vega but I would not consider it as one of the best vegan restaurants in Madrid, given that there are so many great options here. I went there with my parents for my dads birthday and we had the chilli sin carne, the beetroot burger and the Japanese style skewers. The food is good but not mind blowing but the staff is very nice and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere which makes it a worthy experience anyway. If this was a restaurant in an area with fewer vegan options it would be top of the notch.

This place is a gem. The food was so, so good! Really interesting, creative dishes. We had several tapas (make sure you order the mushroom salad and tacos... they blew our minds) the Thai salad, the tiger milk (yummy!), the pistachio panna cotta (omg this was amazing! Best panna cotta I’ve ever had) and the berry “cheese” cake (very fresh with a subtle coconut flavour). I’d definitely come back here next time I’m in Madrid.

Read moreAs a critical point I have to mention the service: both waitors where really unfriendly, not happy at all that we came a little before 8pm and they remained grumpy. I'm German, so I'm really used to "unenthusiastic" staff...
Prices are not cheap but ok for the quality.

We've been there with 5 person for lunch. It was busy but the staff was super friendly and we didn't had to wait for our orders. We paid only about 50 euro for all of us and we all had a drink, starter, main and dessert. The food was delicious or very delicious. Especially the curry dal with rice was yummy. I can definitely recommend this place!

I was really happy with the fancy burger option I got. The sauce was unreal & there was a delicious pea appetizer. The red velvet cake was good too. My server seemed like a dick at first but then warmed up once he realized I wasn’t an [censored]. He could tell I felt a little overwhelmed & gave me the English menu. I respect that they only had 3 options to choose from for main dishes because it keeps you not waiting for meals forever. Good job guys.

Ok, you have to try the smoked pumpkin soup. I’ve found that a lot of food in Spain in general can be a bit lacking in spice/flavor, but this made up for those experiences. I loved the cashew pieces on top, it gave it a nice variance in texture. I also tried the grilled mediterranean vegetables which were tasty and fresh, and the sauces paired with them were very good. Overall tastes rich but healthy, and it’s organic!
