Kitchen closes at 2pm on weekdays and 1:30pm on weekends.

I don't normally leave reviews but this place was amazing. An entirely vegan restaurant that does not sacrifice any flavour - amazing. The staff were so friendly. My friend and I were going to leave after having the delicious curry and pad Thai but thought we'd check out the desserts. The amazing lady pointed at the brownie and said let me show you how I prepare them. We just immediately sat back down and thankfully we did. The brownie with the soy whipped cream and coconut ice cream. Amazing. This staff member was so kind and welcoming. Please go even just for the customer service :)

Everything is vegan and plenty of options from healthy salads to soups and tofu in the style of fish and chips. Very friendly and approachable service too. We came for dinner at 7.30 pm (evening opening times 4-8.30 pm, Wednesday to Saturday) Recommended.

Fresh and tasty Thai-inspired brunch. Some of the food combinations were a bit strange but overall everything tasted yum. The staff were so sweet to us given we’ve just arrived on our honeymoon - they brought us a dessert to share for free!

This place was worth a 2-hour flight for. Fantastic menu. I had a choc milkshake with almond milk, and the spicy arancini balls, plus a biscoff donut, but had to take that baby bake to the hotel as I was so full!

Such a welcoming & beautiful group of folks running this place & always a lovely spot to sit with our pooch (who's always served a puppercino right away! 🥲) & take in the local ibis antics (up in the palms across the road) 👀

Fabulous Christmas lunch - Edit
The staff managed our 50 booking as well as many other customers so well for Christmas lunch. No surcharge or set menu. They were smashed with orders but remained cheerful and helpful. The food was delicious.

I had coffee and Tokyo Toasted for breakfast, Drumsticks Affair on Rice for lunch. I have never had anything like Tokyo Toasted before which I think is creative. The texture of the toast was perfect that it was splendidly crispy outside and soft inside. The size was also very generous.
In addition to the excellent food, the owner and staff were very friendly.
Thank you for the wonderful and quality food.

The almond croissant is incredible and the butterfly pea latte was lovely. I also had the omelette which was okay but a little strange and I wouldn’t order it again. Will definitely come back here though and try other things on the menu.

The best service every time we go, on the very very rare occasion something wrong does happen, the owner will fix it right away. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is always 10/10. We love it so much we even have Christmas breakfast here, family events and anniversaries. Also amazing coffee!!

We arrived from a cold Melbourne afternoon to a mild Brisbane evening with a grumbly belly. Vega is close to our hotel and an easy place to find. The menu isn't huge (2 pages compared to the usual 5 or so for asian themed eateries), and we picked a couple of items to share. A Tom kha soup and a bowl of battered veges and mushrooms with an incredible coconut dip. The flavours were amazing, and we almost licked our plates clean.
Read moreI would have given 5 stars for this review if I'd not made the mistake of buying a takeaway carrot cake (cost $9.95) to have with a cup of tea in the hotel. The cake was so hard and stale as to be inedible. I regret not stopping after the soups' lovely warmth and flavour.
