Food was so unique with brilliant flavours! I meant to take pics of the dishes but kept forgetting because I just wanted to tuck in- by the time I realised, food was almost gone! We are going back again tomorrow!

With so many vegan options in Madrid it can be difficult to know where to go. We booked here for dinner. I ordered the red berry kombucha (recommend that if you have the option). They gave us a cup of soup before we got our starters. We ordered the tikka masala tacos to share as a starter. These had so much flavour. I ordered the green risotto which had great flavours and I loved it. For my dessert I had the chocolate coulant with passion fruit sorbet. This was so a,Ali g. The chocolate flavour and the consistency was perfect. I also had a Russian tea blend made with proper leaf tea. Lovely staff, a lovely restaurant and great food. My partner enjoyed the cheesecake and the Japanese curry.

The whole menu here is delicious! The presentation and flavours in every dish are amazing and would be enjoyed by anyone, not only Vegan diners. The highlights for me were the risotto with parmesan shards (how did you make these so cheesy?!) and the cheesecake which was quite honestly the best cheesecake I have ever tried, so delicious.This place is an absolute must for locals and visitors alike!

Menu is pretty small but very interesting and diverse. For staters we had burrata and artichoke (both really good!) and croquetas (okay, but not the best ones I’ve had). For the main we had green risotto and it was amazing, very smooth and flavourous.

Amazing food at Vega. This is one of our favorites we never miss it when we are in town. The artichokes and burrata were really exceptional as was the pad thai and carrot cake. Nice relaxed environment and good service.

My new favorite in Madrid - Edit
The terrace, down a pedestrian side street, is ideal for outdoor dining. No traffic, except dog walkers and locals heading home. The people are super friendly, multi-lingual, and fun.

Vega serves a mashup of different foods: ceviche, mushroom croquettes, "chicken" tikka masala tacos, pad thai, Japanese inspired jackfruit curry, and somehow it all works. I especially liked the flattened grilled artichokes. One of the best meals I've had.

Pues no puedo asegurarlo a ciencia cierta, pero cada día se superan. Platos buenísimos, muy elaborados (nada de procesados), variedad de sabores, local precioso y trato muy amable. Uno de mis restaurantes favoritos y creo que con motivos de sobra.

ENG: The croquetas are gorgeous, lovely smooth texture with really tasty sauce. The pad thai is the best I've ever had, and huge. It had tofu chunks along with what seemed to be little bits of scrambled tofu throughout. The tacos are great quality, not so much my thing to have jackfruit and tikka masala but wanted to try something different. The risotto was again really high quality with good texture but the taste was slightly plain for me. The restaurant had a lovely interior and friendly staff and the meal came with a little appetiser of corn chips with a different sauce each time we went.

Tenía trozos de tofu con lo que me parecían trocitos de tofu revuelto. Los tacos tiene calidad muy alta. No soy muy de jaca y tikka masala pero quería probar algo diferente. El risotto también era de calidad muy alta con una textura buena pero el sabor para mí era un poco soso. El restaurante tenía un interior muy bonito y el personal muy amable, y había un aperitivo de totopos con una salsa diferente las dos veces que fuimos.

The food was nice and fresh. It didn’t make a huge impression on me, but probably because Madrid has spoiled me 😁 I was eating outdoors, but the interior seemed beautiful. Give it a try if you’re nearby.
