Tiny place, great burgers - Edit

Their burgers are very nice. Many of my friends qualified their burgers as the best vegetarian burger they ever had!

Favourite Vege Restaurant in Medellín - Edit

My friends and I have a habit of going at least once a week to Veg Station. It's by far our favourite in Poblado. The dishes are delicious and the garlic sauce is to die for. Another plus? It's SUPER cheap! The ambiance and service are not the greatest, but for the food, it's well worth it! I wish they had delivery and longer hours!

Pros: Super tasty food, Cheap prices, As much garlic sauce as you want!

Cons: Hours are short, Location is loud and small, Poor ambiance

HORRIBLE -- - Edit

HORRIBLE ,,, let me say I went several times to this place and the food was ok but I went today and the food took one hour to arrive , I was in a hurry because I had classes and i never tought food will take one hour ,letalone on a very non fancy restaurant never happened before ,so i ask the waitrees why she didnt tell us it will take so long cause we have things to do especially because I had class, and she replay with a very unhappy face and said ´´in the menu it said it was slow kitchen´´,
very slowwwwwwwwwww kitchen my god!! !!!! also the worst thing was the attitude of the waitress might also be the owner, i told her not to bring the salad anymore because we have no time...and she went running to the kitchen and brought the salad saying its slow kitchen the fried plantains were suposed to be with hogao and it was served with guacamole the chef kindly came to apologize and back came the waitress screaming like crazy it is slow kitchen, that had people before us that if we wanted to be attended before them ... and call me STUPID !! amazing !!! she said dont come back if u dont want to ....we do not want that experience so horrible. any restaurant can make errors but this waitrees and owner is a horrible person and give horrible service!!

Awesome. - Edit

I got there around 4 pm, but for some reason the man said they close for a few hours & then open again at 7 pm

Glad I came back a few hours later! I had this veg. seitan plate which was so good, and I also got that mango vanilla drink I read about here on someone's review. I did also get this guacamole appetizer which came with tostones (crispy fried plantains) - they used lemon juice I think, instead of limes, which was neat but just way too much of it.

In total for everything was maybe $8 U.S.

Pros: Great food, Great prices

Cons: SO much lemon in the guacamole

Good food here - Edit

I went to Veg Station on Tuesday night and had a good meal. The nighttime meal was 14000 pesos and included a large portion of very good vegetarian lasagna. Also on the plate was a mixed green salad. A glass of fresh mango juice also came with the meal. I thought the food and drink were both very good and I would probably go back if in that neighborhood. The location is rather noisy because the restaurant opens onto a busy street. But for a short meal it's fine.

Pros: Good food, Good value for this neighborhood

Cons: Noisy Location

A nice and cheap restaurant! - Edit

Went to this place two different times for their set lunch menu. They do a 3 course meal with a fresh juice, the menu varies from day to day so the prices vary a bit too. When we went there it cost us 10.000 COP and 11.500 COP the next time, which is 3 -3,45 USD.
We got two simple but very nice and filling meals with a delicious juice. I would recommend you to try this place out!

Pros: Delicious, Cheap, Big portions

Cons: Tables close to a busy street

Best burger ever (but not so comfortable) - Edit

For 13,500 COP (a bit over $4 USD) you can get a plate and a juice.

The food was excellent. One day we had a Paella and a Vegan-"Tamal", and the other day we had a Vegan Burger and a veggie-mix.

The burger has been the best vegan burger i've eaten in Medellin (perhaps ever?). They use a "mozzarella" cheese which is actually made of cassava... it is amazing. Only for that i give these guys 5 stars (despite the uncomfortable chairs)

BUT... the place is not the most comfortable one. Chairs are hard, and it could be nicer for the senses.

Friendly place - Edit

Another small Colombian cafe that specialises in set lunch menu.

The daily food changes quite a bit so there is variety over the course of a week, but not much to choose from each day.

Cheap and good food by Parque Lleras standards.

It's on the main Calle 10 road, but it is not noisy.

Pros: Cheap, Friendly, Great location

Cons: Not much choice

My top choice in Poblado - Edit

I take all my friends here. Why? Because it is a lot cheaper than Verdeo and because Verdeo is too innovative and their service too slow for me. At Veg Station you can find healthy nachos and fried plantains with guacamole. They use sea salt and olive oil. I don't like their burgers or meals of the day but everyone else likes them. They now sell Guandolos, health drinks flavored with ginger, mint, etc. My other favorite healthy place in Medellin is Prana & SaludPan.

Pros: Excellent nachos, Fried plantains for only $4,000, Pure Guandolo drinks

Cons: They sometimes use peanuts, They use city water in their soups, Noisy location

Great Tiny Lunch Counter - Edit

While this place is open till 9pm, your best bet is the luncheon special or the veggie burger with all the trimmings...
Very heath conscious meal, great smoothie but they often seem to run out of ingredients... As this place is right on Calle 10 near the Diez hotel, expect alot of street noise, not a romantic date place, but a great soup, main dish place and a heath drink place

Pros: Fresh, Great Veg Burger, Cheap Special

Cons: Noisy

Great location and smoothies - Edit

Cute vege restaurant right next to Parque Lleras. I ordered a soy chicken tamale, which was a little bland, but the smoothie made up for it - some kind of delicious mango vanilla goodness.
