As others have mentioned, search for “Kuan Yin Vegetarian Restaurant” on maps and use the images on maps to locate the yellow signs.

Kuan Yin Vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
The Restaurant goes by the name of the Buddhist Chinese deity Guanyin and offers all vegan food. so if you want to find it on Google , search for "Kuan Yin Vegetarian Restaurant".
Read moreIt is very simple local food, it is pre cooked and you just show from which pot they should fill up your plate. One person spoke a little English. They also gave us a spoon full to try of each pot to know if it was too spicy for us or not.
Everything was delicious and we paid 265 Baht for 4 people including a bottle of water each.
They gave us a plate of fresh watermelon as dessert on the house. So I recommend it to everyone on the way to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon.
While other restaurants close at 3 p.m., they were still open and served us food after 15:00.

Perfect cheap dish WONDERFUL Pad Thai - Edit
We went there twice. In the evening there was nothing to eat anymore so staff cooked pad thai and noodles soup for us. They don't speak at all English so we couldn't order anything else. We came back at lunch and there were many choices at the buffet. One dish costs 40B. You DEFINITELY have to order the Pad Thaï it's just AMAZING!!!! Noodles soup was good but too much coriander for us. The staff is SO friendly they gave us 2 oranges. We really LOVE this place.

Amazing food! - Edit
We had some amazing Thai food! The waiter does not speak English, but she was very friendly and assured us the 'chicken nuggets' and ' drumsticks' really do not contain chicken. We were mind blown! But she showed us the soy they use and even let us taste other things we did not order. Everything was so delicious, both the soy meat and the veggies! It was quite cheap as well, we paid 110 baht for two full plates (noodles and rice with a veggie stew) plus three 'chicken nuggets' and two 'drumsticks'.
