Leaving Las Vegas! - Edit

Stock up on your favorite Veg Out delicacies - they are moving out of state and will not be around much longer to indulge on. Let's give them a great Vegas send off! Great freezable Vegan delights and most are soy free and top notch health food items.

A Gem at the Farmer's Market - Edit

Great food and wonderful service! Veg Out is at local Farmer's Markets and the owners always have samples so you try their delicious items. Everything I've had is delicious with the stroganoff being the best! There are many gluten-free options :)

Pros: Vegan, Gluten-free, Great service

Cons: No restaurant - only farmer's markets, a little pricey

Best Vegan Chef in town !! - Edit

Seriously, there was a contest in town with all the Vegan Chefs in Las Vegas (most of whom we LOVE !!) & Steph of Veg Out won !! You can get the award winning dish Freaky Freedom Pie where they are located at Fresh 52 Farmer's Market (where there are several delicious Vegan choices !!) .. the Market has 3 different locations: Town Square on Fridays 3-7pm, Tivoli Village (Summerlin) on saturdays 8 AM to 1 PM & Eastern & the 215 (Sansone Place) on sundays 8 AM to 1 PM.

They cook low fat ala Dr. McDougal whose book The Starch solution should be required reading for all people everywhere !! So it is even more impressive how good Veg out's food is as it some of the healthiest food out there .. any Vegan chef can load up on the fat & sugar to make you think they are brilliant but Steph really is brilliant !! And so creative .. the flavors they mix together .. Wow !!

Veg Out's desserts are so awesome .. Chocolate Lava Cake .. best I ever had ... their brownies are so good too ... other fave dishes: Confetti Quinoa, Green Planet Soup & they also sell Cheezy sauce which you can take home & use any way you see fit !! On potatoes or nachos ...

They have drinks too .. Teas, sweet or not ... hot chocolate when its cold outside, the watermelon water is my fave !! & they offer free taste samples of everything so u can taste b4 u buy

Their menu varies week by week & you can see what they are making on their website or Facebook or twitter .. so you can see when they are making your favorites ...

Both Steph & her hubby Justin are 2 of the nicest people & they are very passionate about health .. I've learned so much from Justin ...

They also donate any leftover food to Food Not Bombs & the food all freezes well .. so you can stock up & enjoy it any time

So head down to Fresh 52 Farmer's Market .. Fresh 52 also has a Vegan Taco vendor & the Mexican food stand Pancho's sells amazing Vegan tamales !! Plus Thao Farms sells some of the best Produce in Vegas ...

Pros: Delicious, Super healthy , & delicious !!

Cons: NONE

wherever they are BE THERE!!!! - Edit

This is hands down the best vegan food EVER! I've encountered them ONLY at farmer's markets and vegan events...THAT'S a bummer...they could have a successful location NO PROBLEM - their food is THAT good. Each time you visit they've come up with something even more yummy. YOU CAN'T BELIEVE it's VEGAN it is SO good.

Pros: fresh and GOOD, variety, friendly staff

Cons: no permanent location

Healthy and delicious plant-based food - Edit

For the last few years, it has been our tradition to stop by one of the 3 farmer's markets Veg Out sells at before we hit the road on our way back to CA. Stephanie and Justin are so friendly and enthusiastic about the plant-based foods they provide. We have never been disappointed with any dish we have tried so far. We usually order one of each of the handful of dishes they have available- usually a soup or stew, a casserole, a few dips, and a dessert! We also look forward to the refreshing juice (or tea) of the day. As soon as we get into the car, we usually dig into the dip right away (and sometimes the dessert too!) and store the rest of the packaged food in the cooler to enjoy later at home. We never had a problem with the containers leaking or anything along the way, as they are quite sturdy. The entrees heat up beautifully in the oven or stove top. Everything is always fresh-tasting and satisfying. I look forward to our next road trip to Vegas!

Pros: Tasty and satisfying, Good selection, Friendly

Cons: Not a sit down place, Served chilled (heat at home or hotel), Portions a little small for price

Pros: deep flavors, texture and consistency, seasonal favorites

farmer's market delight! - Edit

yes, i did find these people! i was reading a lot about them and it all sounded very interesting, and finally i stopped at their stand on one of the farmer's market in town! definitely worth it! look out for them and go talk to them, they'll let you taste whatever they have made for the day and they are both wonderful, friendly and passionate!
i had a watermelon juice, which was amazing, it clenched my thirst on the scorching hot Vegas afternoon. and the cheese sauce they have made was great too. one could easily smell it feet away from their booth! i got a couple of sides of cilantro humus, which was great! i never has a humus with potatoes before, but it was good idea. not quite the classic, but hey, we are all about breaking borders:)
i can't wait to see what will they have for next farmer's market

Pros: friendly, delicious

Cons: at a farmers market
