The best street food in Tallinn - Edit
Located in the vibrant Balti Jaam market Veg Machine was my first place I headed in Tallinn. I had loaded fries that weren’t maybe the healthiest option on the menu, but oh, that’s what I call comfort food!
Read moreThe only thing that’s a bit bothering, but it’s for the whole market, not Veg Machine specifically is that the sitting area is somewhat limited and everything is served in single use packaging, but I understand the limitations of the whole venue.

There's nothing glamourous here and the dreaded words "plant-based" don't appear anywhere. This is a restaurant of people who care about animals who make delicious food. It's a limited menu but there are no wrong choices. The Smash Burger is regarded as the best in northern europe and the breakfast burrito is as good as any I have ever had. They have Estonian soft drinks and beverages as well. Nowhere else in Tallin came close.

Smash burger was probably the best vegan burger I ever ate. Beyond meat patty and some sort of battered jalapeno patty with black salt & lots of greens. Texture & flavors are perfect.

Being vegetarians from childhood, we prefer burgers with veggie patties, which can be difficult to find! Veg Machine has options catering to both crowds, and we loved it! Also their cocktails are cheap and tasty!

We had the smash burger, which was absolutely delicious, made with a beyond meat patty, Mayo and fresh vegetables and salad. We also had some potatoe fries with basil mayo which where pretty yummy too. Would definitely recommend!
