Small "jay" restaurant close to Koh Samui pier. Serves buffet style. Owners don't speak much English, but there is an English menu. Some options are spicy, and staff can point out which is spicy or not. Head straight down the centre one way road, away from the pier, turn right down the 4169 highway and it'll be on your right, across from Kbank. Reported closed, May 2019.

Tasty and cheap! - Edit

Me and my partner got the ferry over to Koh Samui and were in dire need of food! This restaurant is only about a 10/15 minute walk (with a large backpack!) away from the pier so it was a perfect location.
When we got there around 10.45 there were about 5/6 mains and a soup to choose from. It's the usual point and smile job. I got 3 mains and rice for 45 Baht and my partner got the soup for 45 Baht. They're not stingy with the portions so the value is amazing!
The food was tasty, it was more reliant on vegetables than mock meat which I know a lot of people prefer. I would definitely eat there again!

Love this place - Edit

Mostly only open Early - closes around 3pm.
Has vegan buffet style Thai dishes but also sells all the mock meats for around 200Bhat a pack, sausages, chicken, fish, etc.
My favorite is the soup - totally amazing!
The staff don't speak much English but are super lovely.

decent place - Edit

About 40 baht per dish, free refills! Not many options as we got there around 7:30 am, but it was tasty. definitely a treat to have a vegan place so close to the pier.
