Delicious Fusion! - Edit
I've tried the "drooling hippie", the "millionaire" burger, a lassi, and the samosas. Everything here is so amazingly good, and though I meant to get around to trying more things, I just ended up having the millionaire with vegan mayo day after day. Genuinely the best place I have eaten in Calgary.

The workers are awesome, really friendly and genuine (you know they aren't just kissing your ass and fake smiling because you're a customer). The food, omg the food... It's so delicious. I brought my husband so we could order more to write a proper review. He had a burger, I had a wrap, and we also tried one of the flatbreads. Everything, EVERYTHING!!! was absolutely scrumptious. The dish I would hands down recommend, and will be ordering again and again, is the Drooling Hippy flatbread. Try it! Love it! You'll be addicted to this place, trust me. Xoxo

Loved the menu here. The Indian influenced burgers, flatbreads and wraps offered lots of exciting options. Although small, there was room for quite a few to sit at the counter or tables and the owners were lovely and friendly, bringing us baking to try! We chose burgers and they were full of flavour and goodness in a a delicious and wholesome looking bun. The curly fries were also great. We are not vegan but noticed there were loads of vegan options. Also refined sugar free drinks and desserts. Fantastic place. Would highly recommend to veggies & vegans coming through.

Tons of incredible vegan options - Edit
Got the samosa burger, poutine, and naan. They gave me a side of butter sauce. Every bite was heavenly. The lady at the counter told me that the only reason they’re not listed as a vegan restaurant is because they’ve found it scares some people away, but don’t be fooled by the Vegetarian categorization; their menu is entirely vegan unless an item is explicitly stated as vegetarian. The people are super friendly and the food is amazing. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Friendly Fresh Fast Vegan - Edit
I had a samosa burger, which came with a ton of vegetables, and it was wonderful. The owners are friendly and patient and answered my many questions cheerfully. This is beautiful fast food, to eat in or pick up. They are also available on Skipthedishes.ca if you would like fresh dinner delivered.

We struggled a bit in Calgary to find Veggie Restaurants and this is definitely not a sit-down and eat place, although there are a couple of chairs where you can eat your takeaway. However, I would really recommend this place for a visit. The food is amazing and the wrap I had was called a bollywood or something but it was really an amazing masala dhosa with some extra veg added. The owner Sehra made a point of chatting and explaining her love of the food when we spoke to her and she was so pleased to have people visiting that enjoyed her food. I would definitely go back if in Calgary

Love this place! Tried this companies food for the first time at a wedding that ordered their catering service for the people eating vegan, it was so good. Have gone to their location a few times since and am never disappointed. The only thing is that I wish Veg-In had more of a restaurant set up, it's more of an in and out place. I would love to sit and stay for a while enjoying the great food.

Definitely a gem! The food here is quite unique, the owners have come up with a lot of their own ideas for dishes that you won’t quite find elsewhere. Lots of Indian food, but the menu doesn’t look like every other Indian food menu and there are options beyond Indian food. I wish I could eat there all the time and try everything.

The menu has lots of variety and the burgers are by far THE BEST vegan burgers! Lots of flavour in all the dishes, loaded up, and amazing spices! I go at least 2-3 times a week I can't get enough!
And the LASSI bar is so wonderful! Lots of flavours and you can mix!!! Soy and coconut subs are an option, the owners make such delishious Lassis!!!
There are really thriving and successful in my world of vegan food!!

Best Veggie Burgers & Lassi - Edit
I am vegetarian some days of the week so went to Veg-In YYC for a quick meal. I ordered their Veg-In Classic Burger. And it was delicious. I have had veggie burgers before but so far this was the best. I also had Mango Lassi and it was made from home made yogurt, which is hard to find at the restaurants now a days. Overall it is an excellent neat little cafe, very clean, excellent staff and food. It is recommended to everyone.

Best Veggito - Indian Infused Wrap - Edit
I am no way a vegetarian but saw veg-In YYC pop up on my laptop all the times. Read the reviews and decided to come and eat. I am not surprised and confirm that all the reviews were right on. I found Sehra to be so passionate about her food that you want to come here again. I tried their special today - which was made with medley of vegetables with tomato based sauce. And I am still feeling the taste of it, while I am writing this review. The spices were perfect and it was the best Veggito, (I asked and found that Sehra and her children cameup with this name) It is a wrap with vegetables. Sehra also gave me their mango lassi to try and I immediately ordered one for myself. I am now hooked and will be back again. This place is recommended highly.

I was feeing hungry on the way to my job and stopped at veg-in YYC. I ordered a black bean burger and mango lassi. I can say that both were the best that I have ever had to eat and drink. I will stop by there all the time and will ask my friends also.

I have tasted the best vegan and vegetarian food in Calgary. Veg-In YYC owners have transformed dishes into tastiest, creative and affordable. I tried their Green Tea Matcha Lassi and oh boy, was it tasty - don't ask. They can make many flavours with soy, yogurt or dairy yogurt. And I had one of the best wrap - they coined the term - Veggito, very creative. This Bollywood Fantasy Veggitos - what a catchy name - was not only unique and fresh, it was the best that I have eaten so far. A must place for everyone to try and eat. I am seriously addicted now. The owners are super nice and passionate. The service is great in a café style ambience.

Best vegan burgers in calgary - Edit
I have been to Veg-In YYC couple of times and getting addicted to the food. You are always welcomed by the staff and owner Sehra with a smile. I found the attention to detail in every meal they prepare, plus she is very creative and always give samples of new dish she is preparing. I like their burgers a lot along with Lassi. Recently I tasted their salt and pepper fries. Everything is prepared with passion. Good job Sehra and team.

We stopped into Veg-In for a quick lunch and were super impressed :) I had one of the veggitos which was delicious! My boyfriend had the samosa burger which he loved too and was really happy with the choice of sauces and veggies he got with it! I would recommend anyone to pop in as it's such a great spot- and so close to downtown!!

Great Vibes, Great Food - Edit
Came here during lunch and ordered the Cowboy. AMAZING!! I didn’t know that you could make vegetarian food taste that good. The ladies at the front were warm and welcoming and I had a lovely conversation with Sehra about the cafe and overall clean eating. Brought my wife back at the end of the day and turns out they also sell Starbucks coffee. Suffice it to say, we won’t be sleeping much tonight hopped up on this much caffeine. I absolutely recommend anyone, vegetarian or otherwise to head on over and enjoy.
